Beautiful historic property with wonderful staff and great terrace views. One of their employees, Victor, went above and beyond to help with a very special birthday surprise my girlfriend was planning for me. Amazing guy. Stayed in the suite and it was spacious with a comfy king bed. The only cons were that the hot water took around 10 minutes to start working and the water pressure was quite week and the fact that there is no A/C in the rooms - Taxco is humid and hot and for this reason I would not stay again at this hotel. If that is something that you don’t mind, this place is a great place to stay.

The place was very clean. The patio areas were beautiful and the views from the rootop were excellent. The staff was especially helpful and friendly.

This is an amazing hotel in a welcoming colonial town of Taxco. Everyone here is warm and welcoming. The hotel itself is charming, quiet, clean, well decorated, and kept in excellent condition. Please note there is no AC. I went in mid June, and that didn’t bother me, the fan in the room was sufficient. There is also no elevator, just keep that in mind. It’s an experience, like you just walked into a live laugh love movie set. Definitely worth every penny. I wish I could stay longer than two nights.

Place is great it just needs a little more cleaning in the rooms

Beautiful and very old building with multiple courtyards and a rooftop terrace. We also enjoyed the restaurant in the hotel.

This is a gem of a hotel centrally located to EVERYTHING in Taxco! Charming and beautiful.

This hotel is very old but with that being said covering holes in cracks should be something they address here. On the first night we stayed here there was a roach in our bathroom sink and just when I was about to kill it, it ran into a hole in the wall just below the soap holder. I did inform the front desk and she said they would look into it and was shocked because that had never happened before according to her. Aside from that the rooms seemed clean but the bed mattress was really hard and uncomfortable to sleep in. I probably wouldn’t book here again.

We love the hotel and staff. Could use a refrigerator and coffee maker. Not having the ability to bring our own water back and keep it cold and keep snacks cold was the only drawback. Otherwise we love the hotel.

Very quaint. Beautiful patio. Staff very friendly. But room we were in needs update. Toilet backed up. Hot water takes 20 to warm up. Lots of stairs to room. Restaurant attached has good food. Overall a nice experience. Good location. Near zocalo and shopping.

Excellent beautiful Hotel. The Hacienda like hotel takes you back in time and allows you to disconnect from the day to day lifestyle. Highly recommend it. The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were also extremely clean.

It was hot at night, maybe a ceiling fan would work better than the floor fan.

Beautiful setup and location

The hotel itself is beautiful. Very old hacienda. Very nicely designed. Charming place. However, we dined in the restaurant and the tablecloth was badly stained. The food was less than mediocre. In room safe was not working and never fixed. The toilet was not working an smelly, we had to wait another day to have it fixed. Around 1 am on second night we were awaken by a service person wanting to check our toilet, because there was a leakage one floor below us, there is no a/c in the room and it was extremely hot while we were staying there, so if you want small cup of ice to cool yourself off, it costs 50 pesos.
I would give it 5 stars for architecture and 2 stars for quality of service. Definitely not 3* hotel.

Lovely hotel, great location. Only downside it dosent have AC units and watchout with the mosquitos at night. It would be nice if at least they have the nets to cover your bed. Other than that i would definitely stay here again i will just be more prepare if i do.

The reception staff were very rude as usual and the price is very expensive for the condition of the hotel. Also we found lizards in the room.

Absolutely charming hotel which was a wonderful oasis in the middle of bustling Taxco. Great location with friendly and helpful staff. Room pleasant, but in need of a little modernisation to really make this Taxco’s standout boutique hotel.
