Great studio apartment. Super clean, full kitchen, comfortable bed, washer and dryer in the suite. The studio was on the other side from the train tracks, so the train noise was not an issue.

It was a beautiful suite and an amazing stay!

Very clean, easy check in and check out. Super hot in the room in the fall/early winter without the heat turned on. Bottom floor unit too! Two fans were supplied for my room, and I saw that multiple people had windows open as well to cool their units down.
The hot tub, WHAT A VIEW! clean windows and very clean water. Definitely winter stay, summer… not a chance due to the heat. Was hard to keep it under 20.5 with window and fan running to suck in cool air.

It was a great stay for a family of 10 as the rooms are with decent size to accommodate seniors and adult teens and 1kid. Plenty of spaces. Open kitchen concept is great plus a huge dining table (8 seaters) and there are kitchen bar chairs to use as well. Living room has a sofa bed but no extra bed covers, pillows and blanket ready for use (other hotels I stayed in has these extras so you can use for the sofa bed, so I didn’t bring extra). There is laundry in site tho but we’re all packed up for the activities and adventures. It is closed to Banff, Moraine, Lake Louise and Johnston Canyon

This was a beautiful little room. It is very close to train tracks but that is the only negative. It was clean and comfortable.

Cute and cosy accommodation which is very well equipped and very clean. Good location.
Only downside were the people upstairs noisily going up and down the metal outdoor stairs, especially banging their suitcases on the stairs early on a Sunday morning. Just unfortunate for us but maybe metal stairs not such a good idea😉

I would like to see a regular coffee pot in the unit. We had to go to the Bagel shop for coffee where the lines were very long.

Had a great stay at this resort. only a couple of things that could have made it better. One is that they were not overly up front with the hot tub when we booked the stay they should have informed us the hot tub was being serviced on the day we booked instead they waited until after we booked to let us know about this situation. Also there was a sewer gas type smell in the main bath. Never figured that out? lastly the parking and access to the suite could be a bit more descriptive. Seems however that guest were helpful with each other to determine how to access and find parking. It all worked out. I would definitely book here again.

Amazing stay. Will definitely visit again

The hot tub was broken and no one told us when we checked in. We understand things happen but communicating that would have been appreciated.

Provides epic views, just a short walk from downtown and provides modern amenities. The place is beautiful and clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel; It was comfortable and had a great view, highly recommend!!

Everything was great, until we laid on the bed. The best way to describe the mattress would be to compare it to concrete, or cobblestones. Hard hard hard. With a plush mattress, this property is a 5 star. As an aside, the a/c unit in the bedrooms is louder than a freight train. Lol.

We love staying at the basecamp but felt disappointed we paid almost 500 dollars for our stay and were unable to use the hot tub

My trip was postponed one whole day by a hail storm happened in Calgary. I tried to contact the hotel at the very first moment I am aware of the delay, but the staff wasn't very helpful to accomodate this uncontrollable situation. I do understand that it has already behind the 72 hours free cancellation period, but the hotel refused to adjust or extend the stay unless I have to pay extra for another day. I felt desperate and it ruined my whole vacation.

It was so close to everything in Canmore! The perfect place to stay

The hot Tub was out of service and crew didn't allowed to use sauna from the other building. Next day,I asked for an apple and muffin to serve my daughter. At first, she said ok and I grab it both. When she asked me the room number to check out, ahe told me to return the apple and muffin due to stayed on diff building. Thats so absurd!

Quit nice !

Nice place. Well thought out. Our room has a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, full size refrigerator and microwave.

I will say this is a nice property, much better than a hotel.
unfortunately with a few critical flaws....that if rectified would make it the best. First off there is NO AC! This is a requirement for visitor comfort! The room has a small, noisy, underpowered portable... second the building is cheaply made. I can hear EVERY footstep above. Third, there is no way to throttle the shower, so you run out of hot water in less than 3 or 4 minutes. The parking is very tight just FYI. Also the train track is 50 feet away and very loud when the train frequently goes by.

If you're planning to stay here please know that there is a loud train that passes regularly behind this property including very early in the morning. (I counted 4 times). We stayed when it was pretty hot outside and our group that slept in the living room on the sofa bed really suffered because there was only a fan and no air conditioning. We stayed with a group of 9 which meant we had two vehicles. The booking only includes one parking spot and at the time of our stay there was construction in the free street parking area, so one of us had to park very far. I tried to get some suggestions from the property management but they were not very helpful. The TV volume was also stuck on a loud setting and the remote would not work to change it so we couldn't use the TV. One of the bathrooms also had a used piece of toilet paper behind the toilet. The was also a questionable splatter on one of the walls. All in all we did not have the most pleasant stay due to problem after problem once we arrived unfortunately.

Excellent hotel, well priced and ideally located. Absolutely loved it.

The location was convenient. The unit was clean and suited our needs. It is right next to a very active railroad track and the walls are thin. The hot tub was put of service during pur entire week long stay.

Got locked out of our suite. The staff did a amazing job dealing with it. But even they did not ever seen this happen before. Took over an hour to resolve. No air in the common areas. Brutal on a hot day with smoke in the air. Parking was tight. Big trucks beware. I drive one and was afraid to go places because of not being able to fit my truck with a full lot. Even though the ad refers to street parking their is none. Parking is time limited if you do find a spot. The pictures in the ad is deceptive. I taught I was getting a deck with a bbq. But got something that I jokingly referred to as a converted garage suite. No exhaust fans in the bathrooms. Beds are just doubles. And they place airplugs in the bathroom cause their is a strange buzz from the vents. Which I did not personally experience but read on trip adviser. Unfortunately this was after I paid for the place. I could go on and on.
