Wonderful stay. Our suite was perfect for a family of four. The kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast, glad we chose to add on as it was very convenient and tasty. Wish the beds were a little softer but other than that, everything was great.

This place was charming with character and was in an excellent location! The north side is quiet and yet close to all of the excitement. The small restaurants right around this hotel are fantastic, each with their own quaint vibe, great food and drinks.
The beach is literally 1.5 blocks away and completely flat, so easy access.
The rooms are super quiet and the AC works great… things that matter!

Overall, I had a great experience, the hotel is small itself but rooms are big and have second floor. Super comfy, and convenient if you are traveling with family and friends. The area is super waklable, close to everything. Service was great, and fast. Pool is big and clean. I will definately be back.

We loved our stay at Casa Loteria! The staff were all welcoming and helpful.
The 2-bedroom master suite with terrace was perfect for our family of four, with two teenage boys. There was a lot of space for everyone to be on their own when needed, as well as a wonderful kitchen/ dining / living for us to hang out in.
It was very hot in Sayulita for our August vacation, but the fans and the AC in our suite kept us super comfortable.
We loved the pool! It is meticulously maintained and large enough to swim laps. They also had some balls for the kids to play with. We swam in the pool almost every day.
We had breakfast included in our stay. The food was delicious! I have celiac disease and was concerned about getting sick, but I had no problem at all. Carlos was especially great. He remembered what everyone liked for breakfast and made sure the boys had pancakes when they wanted, even though it wasn't on the menu.
A highlight of the trip was yoga with Lis every morning. She is an exceptional yoga teacher and always checked in for requests and to ensure that any injuries were accommodated. Starting my day with Lis' yoga class was perfect for a peaceful, relaxing vacation.
Thanks to everyone at Casa Loteria for a truly exceptional stay. We will be back!

Staff is absolutely lovely. The front desk are very friendly and happy to help, the only upsetting part was that the manager will charge women an extra charge if you happen to stain the linen with period blood. It was so incredibly disappointing to have to speak about my privacy in public and argue against an extra charge against women only. I had other female customers who had to stand up with me in order to get the manager to not charge us. Disheartening to see unequal treatment in 2024.

Nice hotel, staff were great. the Room was nice.
the only complain is the curtains; It doesn't keep the morning light out and the brightness wake you. they should use better quality for a better resting

Great staff. Super friendly. Only issue was no smart tv/access to Netflix etc. with a single child…

Large room and nice pool area. However, during our 5-night stay, housekeeping only attended our room once, which felt way too little given that toilet paper is not allowed to be flushed down the toilet, and the trash bins in our bathroom were overflowing… A/C unit in kitchen/living area not working, and very difficult (impossible) to adjust in the bedrooms (either ice cold, or off). Shower walls “leaking”, in particular in one of the bathrooms, leaving a “lake” on the bathroom floor, rendering the shower more or leas unusable (luckily we had two bathrooms). Limited flexibility regarding checkout time.

The place is not very far from the center of Sayulita, about a 5-10 minute walk. The staff was helpful and friendly. Would stay again!

The property was excellent. The only negative was that the pool and jacuzzi was under renovation and we were not able to enjoy this amenity. However, I will return once it’s completed.

Small hotel with lovely pool surrounded by beautiful vegetation . Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant had a limited menu but it was good. Lots of restaurants an easy walk away but some very expensive. Rooms very clean. King sized bed really comfy. No bedside lamps only overhead one. Kitchen needed basics like salt and pepper. Large knife blunt so couldn’t cut up our fruit and bread. Also wanted to clean up but no cloths or towel to dry hands. No idea how to work TV. Hand soap in bathroom was like water. Don’t think we would bother with kitchen again.

We stayed at El Pueblito Sayulita for one week in April 2024 with our family, in one of the family rooms adjacent to the pool. The staff are, for the most part, exceptionally friendly and helpful and the management is working hard to make the hotel one people will return to. One young guy working in the restaurant really needs to learn how to smile, though! Our room was clean in all the ways that matter, including the dishes, drawers and the fridge. - My only suggestion would be to do a bit of cobweb/dust removal higher on the walls/in the top corners of the rooms - oh, and the grouting on the sides of the shower tiles could be scrubbed better or renewed, as it was leaning toward black. ...and the cushions on the lounge chairs by the pool could be cleaned. But the sheets and towels were pristine and everything felt clean. There is a lot of wood (tables, stools, lounge chairs) and beautiful tile, which feels high quality. The many ceramic pots of all sizes with well-taken-care-of plants really add to the place, as well as the landscaping with palms, shrubs and ground cover in the courtyard.
There is a beautiful rooftop terrace with more large plants and a palapa roof. My husband did his exercises there in the morning using the yoga mats that are available (much appreciated that this was there and in such a beautiful spot) and our daughter joined the morning yoga a couple of times.
I have more to write... but no more room.

We were close to the beach and could walk there in just a few minutes. The restaurant was nice and the service there was very good. We also liked that there was a pool and a lovely area to sit out at. We have been to Sayulita three times and always stayed at the same place.

Housekeeping never turned over the room in 7 nights. Suite lacks dish towels and dish cloths, Dish rack and a toilet brush. The suite was nice. A.C worked great. Hotel charged for a third guest even though the room sleeps 6. Pool was inoperative the last 2 days. Staff and location was great. Everythig else was par. Parking was not included as advertised. Also the property offers the pool to the public for 400 pesos a day, it is not private. Overall. A generous 3/5

Bedding was very uncomfortable which made it almost impossible to get any rest. Insects (roaches) were also found in the assigned room.
I would not stay in this property again, based on the price I was charged and the overall experience with the room.

Hotel is close to the action but quiet. It's not the nicest area in town but did feel safe. Our room was not the same as in the photos - our kitchen had cracked countertops and dismal lighting, no dining table or island. Mattresses and pillows had stains, main shower drain was backed up, front door lock and a shower door handle were broken. The last two were fixed after we enquired twice at the front desk. They told us there were no other rooms available when we complained. Pool area was nice and yoga was great.

Family friendly, good food, spacious, beautiful furniture, pool, walking distance to the beach, food, pharmacy, vendors, and so much more. We loved our stay here. We thank you and all of your staff for such a great stay.

This property was exactly as advertised. We wanted a room with a kitchen and space for a family of four. Location is great, walking distance to everywhere. It is also away from the noisy parts of the town center. Pool was nice and staff was great.

Loved the restaurant staff. Lovely young man that served us. Very attentive. Loved the cafe de olla.
The whole experience was there. I would recommend.
4.0 / 10.0
The property in general has plumbing and water pressure issues. We had a large group stay there and at least 3 rooms had defective toilets requiring a change of rooms. Rowdy guests which prevented us from sleeping were allowed to remain in the common jacuzzi until 3 am. The restaurant has great tasting food and good cafe de olla but the service was average. The cleaning crew does a good job keeping the place clean. There’s a huge difference in quality of rooms. The larger rooms look much better: are upgraded, well lit and spacious. The smaller rooms are basic and look worn. The location is convenient because is near the beach and city center (5 minute walk) and on a quiet street.

We stayed one night, but wished it could have been longer. We stayed in a 2 bedroom with 2 bath suite. The kitchen had everything needed to cook for longer stays. The beds were comfortable and area quiet. The staff was friendly. We walked to the beach and town as both were only a few blocks away.

Property got an excellent rating on your site and it was far from excellent. Property run down. Toilet didn’t work and nothing was done to fix it. We left early and went to a much nicer place. Of course didn’t get a refund but it was worth leaving the facility
