About this house rental
Newly renovated, beautiful and self contained casita on a 4 acre retired horse ranch. Completely private and quiet. A long driveway leads to a detached casita which is on the opposite side of the main home at the back of the property. Desert & mountain views. Dining area, living room, kitchenette, large bedroom , full bath, and private porch and side grassy yard with views. Shopping, restaurants, and recreation nearby.
Perfect place to start an adventure from with biking lanes immedately available.
The space
Retired 4 acre horse ranch now has no large animals but plenty of space for a quiet visit. Newly updated everything for your visit. Large main room that contains the kitchen, work space, dining area an living area. Oversized bedroom contains a queen bed and queen futon.
Guest access
Guests will have full access to the southern guest house and walled in yard and porch. Guests will also have access to two covered parking spots and the ability to walk and explore the entire ranch area. Long-term guests will also have access to washer and dryer.

David and Alex were great hosts, super responsive especially when internet was out, and the house is lovely and perfect for my small family. A short drive to get to Tucson amenities, or at the base of the mountain to go up Mount Lemmon. My kids appreciated the games and toys available. Thank you!

Cute, clean and nice place to stay. Lots of wildlife and feels tucked away yet close to main roads and shops and things. Bunnies, ground squirrels and lizards ran through the property each time we drove in.

Very nice property in a good location for Saguaro National Monument and other hiking trails. Property is near grocery and other stores yet you would never know you are so close to businesses because of its country setting. So peaceful and quiet. It has a nice outside area to sit and relax. Very comfortable inside. Well kept and clean. The owners are extremely easy to contact and respond to your questions immediately. I also liked the fact that there is a laundry room on the premises. We would definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed our stay.

We are birdwatchers and this place was the perfect location to go up Mt Lemmon, as they are right at the base. We enjoyed walking around the area too. Cute place with all we needed! The owner was very responsive by text.

This was a nice little place to stay. A little off the beaten path so it was nice and quiet. Clean and very well apportioned. Would definitely stay there again.

Not fancy, but a very comfortable place to stay. Close proximity to Mt Lemmon, Sabino Canyon and more for birding and hiking opportunities. Kitchen has everything you need. Would definitely stay again. Thanks David & Alex.

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious, clean, comfortable and well stocked guesthouse. Bed was comfy as was all of the furniture. Those recliner loungers with footrests were much appreciated after a day of biking and a day of golf. Hosts were very easy to contact for biking info which was much appreciated. Very private and quiet space!

Wonderful! David and Alex are perfect hosts - the house was super clean, they gave great recommendations as to where to go in town, they were always considerate and friendly! Close to walking trails, parks, restaurants and golf courses. I had a wonderful 7 weeks, and I hope to return next winter!

The pictures in the listing do not accurately depict the beauty of this place! The guest house is abundantly stocked with extras, including board games and a wide selection of books. It is a perfect retreat to relax and unwind. The location is unbeatable, just close enough to the city without the noise and bustle. Our stay was wonderful, and the hosts, Alex and David, were exceptionally friendly.

Accommodations even better than the photos. Newly renovated ranch property near Mt. Lemmon. Ten minute drive to great vantage point on Mt. Lemmon overlooking Tucson. Amazing sunsets. Hiking and biking. Hosts were wonderful. Hope to return. Recommended!

In the listing it did say that you could have up to 2 dogs. However we were not expecting the property to smell like dogs. The property used to be a horse stable but that being said it was cluttered in different areas and weeds at the gate entrance to the houseand the weeds made a good home for snake. Overall we enjoyed the stay aside from the above.

The guest house was the perfect spot for our plans to go birding on Mount Lemmon. Very clean, spacious, great kitchen, and comfortable bed. Communication with the hosts, David and Alex was excellent. When our travels bring us back to the Tuscon area I would definitely look into booking here again. Thanks for the birding lication tips and the dinner. We enjoyed our time staying at your place. Lynn

We had a great time staying at David’s home. David was very helpful and if we needed anything, he was very prompt to help us out. Overall, I have zero complaints. If you’re looking for a place, that’s just outside of the city, but not too far then this place is great. I will be returning when I come to visit again!

We were in the area for a race at Saguaro National Park and this location was great! Only 15 minutes away! Very clean, updated, quality towels & linens and many small touches that made our stay great. It was a bit challenging to find as we arrived late and had some trouble with the door code but David was very quick to help. A few stairs to get into the property and then stairs within to get to the nicely renovated bathroom. Just something to note if anyone traveling with you doesn’t do well with them. Overall would recommend!
