About this apartment rental
2BD/2BA apartment located in the CBD. Convenient location to walk to the French Quarter, Canal St, Harrah's Casino, Warehouse District, Convention Center, and other attractions.
The unit features stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, granite countertops, and cherrywood flooring.
Bedroom 1: Queen Memory Foam Mattress, ensuite bath with Tub/Shower.
Bedroom 2: Full Size Memory Foam Mattress, bathroom has walk-in shower.
Common Area: 1 Air Mattress (Queen Size)
Lovely 2BD/2BA apartment located in a former 1830's era Bank Building. The two bedrooms both have ensuite bathrooms. Hardwood floors, modern stainless steel appliances (Fridge, Microwave, Stove/Oven), granite countertops throughout.
The space is ideal for Four Guests, but can accommodate 6 using the Queen Air Mattress.
Guests have full access to the apartment.
I am available via airbnb app, text, email, or phone.
The condo is located in the Picayune Place Historic District, a small rectangular area wedged between the Warehouse District, Canal Street, and French Quarter historic districts in downtown New Orleans. The Picayune Place Historic District is noted for its unparalleled collection of intact 19th century commercial buildings, predominantly in the Greek Revival style.
The French Quarter is a mere two block walk away. The House of Blues, Aquarium of the Americas, Audubon Butterfly Garden & Insectarium, Jackson Square, Cafe du Monde, Bourbon St., are all within walking distance.
Our location is perfect if your gathering is located at the Sheraton, Marriott, Hilton Riverside, and the Morial Convention Center. All are within walking distance of the apartment.
For those interested in French Quarter Fest, Satchmo Fest, or just about any festival located in the FQ or Riverfront, we're as close as you can get without actually being in the FQ. During popular events, your walk back to the condo will probably less time than waiting for an Uber. (I recommend bringing a small collapsible wagon to load your folding chairs and blankets for the walk. Get there early to secure your spots in front of the stages.)
Walk the opposite way, you'll run into the Warehouse District/Arts District with its collection of art galleries, boutiques, bars, clubs, and museums. The popular World War II Museum is a short 10 - 15 minute walk down Magazine St. Try brunch reservations at Meril (Emeril Lagasse's new restaurant), grab a iced cold brew and a decadent cupcake at Bittersweet Confections on the way.
If you're coming for Mardi Gras, the parades roll down Canal St and turn a block away from the condo. You won't have to go far to get to the action. The Garden District & Uptown are easily accessible by streetcar, bus, or Uber.
I recommend walking especially during events. Many tourist destinations are easily walkable from the apartment. Uber/Lyft wait times are typically 2-3 minutes. The Canal St and St. Charles Streetcar lines are within two blocks of the apartment. Bus and Ferry are also a close walk away.
If you're driving in, we do not have onsite parking. Metered Parking and Pay Lots are close by.
You are in downtown New Orleans. There is always potential for street noise at all hours.

The stay was nice. Five (5) of us stayed here comfortably for the Essence Festival. The place was secure, clean and quiet. We were within walking distance to French quarter, convention center, casino and superdome. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

We highly recommend and gave 5 stars! Thank you for the stay!

We visited New Orleans to attend the Sugae Bowl and a few days of vacation. This location is in a terrific spot that is about 10 minutes to many of the areas you’d mine to visit. And, it was a doable walk of about 30 minutes to the National Shrine of Blessed Seelos, a 20 minute walk to the WWII Museum (be sure to go!), and 10 minute walk to Mass at old St. Patrick’s. In the opposite direction we walked about 10 minutes to Jackson Square and heart of French Quarter. The accommodations were perfect for what we needed and the apartmenr was nicely furnished. I appreciated the good communication with the property manager.

Clean and well-equipped two bedroom apartment in a very conveniently located spot. Close to the Quarter, but far enough away for privacy and quiet. Would recommend and use again on future visits.

The apartment was clean, and very well appointed. Dishes, washing machine and nice smelling Soaps etc. I always appreciate extras like a few tide packets by the washing machine, an iron and hair dryer. The soap smelled nice and the sheets were clean. One bedroom is a little bigger than the others, so get in early and snag that. Most importantly we had great communication the whole way through

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great!
Close walk to lots of restaurants, The French Quarter, lots of museums and the waterfront.
The apartment is perfect for two couples.

The property was just as listed, clean, well appointed, and conveniently located to all the sights and eateries. About .8 of a mile to Jackson Square and only a few blocks from streetcar routes to Garden district and the riverfront. Communication from Eric and Annie was timely and courteous. We recommend this property!

The apartment was as described, very clean, tidy, and well-placed. Host was very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay again.
It is not on the ground floor but there is an elevator. From a safety perspective, separate codes were required to enter the building and the unit itself; the main downstairs entryway was well lit.
Central A/C worked very well in the June heat. The stacked washer / dryer is in a closet in the second bedroom and worked as expected.
In the quibble department: I wish they would add a dresser to each bedroom or put some square cubbies in each closet to store things that don't need to be hung.
Convenient to the St. Charles trolly and Canal street trollies. Very close to the apartment lobby is a nice looking little bar, a convenience store, a breakfast / lunch restaurant, and a great coffee shop (The Fourth Wall). It was about a five minute walk to Canal and the main part of the French Quarter.
Overall, a nice base and we enjoyed our stay!

Stayed here for a conference that was held at the convention center. It was about a 3/4 mile walk there or a short walk to canal street to catch a shuttle from one of the hotels. Place was great and descriptions were accurate in regards to noise, food, and location. Would stay again

We found the apartment to be exactly as pictured - fully updated, modern and clean. The location was far enough from the French quarter to avoid the din and crowds but close enough to easily walk. Also walkable were restaurants in the warehouse district, the fantastic WWII museum (best part of our visit), the river (took a great riverboat tour that included a battlefield site visit), and the casino. If you want to stock up on food to prepare in the apartment, the nearest real food market is a bit of a hike to be carrying bags and you'll need to use Lyft/Uber. The interior was spotless and everything you expect was there in the place. We appreciated the separation between the two bedrooms. However be aware that the one bedroom is right next to the kitchen and dining area and if you you are all not on the same wake/sleep schedule that could cause issues (it didn't for us). Overall a very quiet place - very little street noise and we didn't hear our neighbors. Thanks!

This condo was perfect for.our group of four. Couches were pretty worn and could use replacing, but we didnt come to Nola to sit on couches so it wasnt a big deal. Little Bar next door was our favorite place to grab a cold drink. Location was great and condo had lots of room. Manager was accomodating. We would stay again.

This is a clean, comfortable, well-furnished and outfitted condo in a fabulous location. Whether you are in NOLA for business (e.g., for lawyers the 5th Circuit is within easy walking distance), to check out the WWII museum (which is great), head out Magazine St. for shops and restaurants, or go to the Quarter for whatever, this place is a great base of operations. And the hosts are nice, accessible and responsive. All in all, a great experience!

The location of this property was wonderful .We walked everywhere we needed to go. The only suggestion. I would make is that the couches and the mattress in the main bedroom be replaced. The mattress was overly soft and one of the couches had a broken arm rest. Other than that everything was fabulous..We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Very nice property in a great location. The property was very clean and well stocked. There is even a small grocery store on the first floor of the building. It is easy to walk to many local sights and restaurants. We really enjoyed the ease of coming and going at this place. We will definitely rent this one again!

The property was accurately described. Our hosts were very nice and prompt with their responses. They were able to help us solve the issue with access around midnight when we arroved to the property. Overall, the house was in good shape and very clean. Before we arrived, we noticed that there were only 4 chairs in the dining area and ask our host for an additional chair and they gladly had it ready when we arrived. Nesbit’s located below the property was very convenient, although a little pricey, for small grocery items. There were some minor issues but nothing that the hosta were able to respond to.
The property is very close to a lot of attractions and we just walk to most of them.
Overall, we had a great stay!
