The gardens were magical! The house was beautiful. It was cozy, yet plenty of space. Adorably quirky. Perfect for families and people who appreciate all the little details.

This home and location worked well for six women attending a nearby conference.

This home is fun, quirky, well-loved, and magical. The garden is like an old English garden - beautiful and comforting! The home has the feel of years of well-loved moments and created memories. It is minutes from anything that you may need from groceries, to fast food places, to the marine biology center with an aquarium. And it's not too far from Seattle.

Beautiful property in a lovely historic home.

The house worked out well, the yard was beautiful and beds were good. The bathroom situation is odd but we were family so worked it out. We will use this house again if needed.

This is a beautiful, small home in a beautiful neighborhood that felt like visiting great grandma’s house. It’s full of antiques, quaint wallpaper, toys for our little girls, and even a grand piano. We loved the location of this home and the grandkids enjoyed picking fruit from the various fruit trees in the amazing yard. The only drawback was the arrangement of bathrooms. It was a bit tight for 6 adults and 4 kids but it satisfied our needs. Lovely kitchen!

We love the place. It is clean and full of trees around it. The back yard was beautiful and fresh, makes us feel relaxed. I recommend this place and probably will go back again.

The house was very vintage and full of fun things to look at. It was in a beautiful location with a view of Puget Sound. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Beautiful grounds.
Couple issues. There are a lot of windows and not many coverings and what window coverings there were, were very shear.
I had to buy ant traps, fly tape and fly swatters. For that reason, I would not stay again. It's very hard to use countertops covered with ants and flies everywhere.

We enjoyed the house- great yard. Nice walk to Redondo Beach.

The grounds are beautiful. The grandkids ages 1-11 played in the yard and trees. It was like the secret Garden. It was close proximity to all the things we wanted to do. Communication with the owner was superb. Would stay again if the opportunity arose. Thank you.

We needed a place to hide out while repairs were completed on our home. Staying in this historic home felt like staying with a relative. The hosts were easily some of the nicest people we have met and were willing to share their knowledge of the house as it was where they grew up.
Make no mistake this is a 100-year-plus home and a bit quirky but that said it is also full of happy memories. We enjoyed staying here.

We were very pleased with this stay. There were 6 adults, and we used 4 of the 5 bedrooms. The house is super charming, filled with antique/old furniture and pieces. The decorating was spot on. And the icing on the cake was the yard. This house occupies and very large lot, and it is very nicely landscaped. Even though the weather was cold and overcast for most of our stay, we still appreciated the beauty of the yard. It helps that the kitchen is so airy with all those windows. And even though there is a street and a row of houses between this house and Puget Sound, the houses are down on an embankment. So, we had an unobstructed view of the water. We would definitely stay here again.

Great communication with owner especially with the boiler repair. The local host was very kind and apologetic for interrupting our stay with plumbers. This location fit our needs for a team retreat. Very clean and cozy. I thought our bed was great. Well equipped kitchen.

My family chose this house for a holiday staycation and we were so glad we did! Family from out of town came to stay with us and the proximity to the airport and highways was very convenient. And despite how close it is to the city and amenities of all kinds, this place feels like an oasis. The neighborhood is an absolute hidden gem right by the water. It feels like you’re in the San Juan islands!
We knew it would be adorable from the pictures but were absolutely delighted with how fabulous the home and its property were in real life. We stayed during a snow storm and it was a wonderful place to be during the holidays.
The house is spacious and full to bursting with old-world charm — furnished and decorated beautifully, right down to the smallest details. Some things about the house are a little quirky, but our family was entirely charmed by all of it.
The living room is small for a larger family and children but the rest of the house makes up for it with an open floor plan that links the living room to a large indoor sun porch overlooking the water (and stocked with toys, creating a play room), a massive kitchen and informal dining area, and another dining/seating area between the kitchen and living room.
We had seven adults and three small children gathered here at one point and were quite comfortable.
Our family is already planning to come back in the spring/summer so we can take advantage of the deck, patio, and massive yard. It would be a magical place for a garden party (or an Easter egg hunt!).
The customer service was also top notch. Arriving during a snow storm (and leaving during an ice storm!), we had some weather-related challenges and the Evolve staff worked with us every step of the way, going above and beyond for us.
Highly recommend this classy getaway for a couple or entire family. Thank you, Piano House, you were everything we hoped for!

This was THE PERFECT retreat for our annual gals’ weekend! Oh my goodness, it’s hard to know where to begin… The absolutely adorable and homey kitchen, the complete and utter charm of the whole house, the stunning, huge yard, the piano and the fireplace, being able to just walk down to the water… The peace and quiet… The comfy beds… And so much more. The hosts are lovely, generous and totally communicative. I kept wishing the walls could talk, because I am certain so many stories must’ve been written here over the years… Would come back in a heartbeat.

Spacious and warm. Gardens are incredible. The kitchen is the hub of the house and the bedrooms are cozy and comfortable.

Here the kitchen really is the heart of the home! There are windows all around views to the mature garden, fully equipped and a large table perfect for gatherings. The spacious downstairs with dining, living room and bedroom with French doors to deck are charming with antiques and view to the water. There are lots of places to sip coffee or cocktails on deck by pond or screened porch. Beds were comfortable and host very accommodating. Within walking distance to Redondo boardwalk and close to stores and restaurants. Look forward to coming back for reunion with family or friends.

This place was better than listed; beautiful grounds, charming interior and great hosts. Each room had its own unique character and decor. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with coffee and amenities. The back porch with the table and chairs overlooking a glorious maple tree shading the quiet landscape was peaceful.
I would highly recommend staying here for any occasion.
