It was a pleasant stay

The room was not clean. The t.v. did not work and the noise was terrible.

It was a nice place to stay and you could cook your dinners instead of microwave and going out to eat.

Check was chaotic. The staff was nice though. There is a stench throughout the room and halls that was not good. also this is intense dampness in the rooms making it very uncomfortable.

Pretty shady despite not a bad area.

The place was a total Dump for $200.00. One night stay. Fiberglass bathtub was cracked leaking down below floor blinds were broken had to flip each blind separately to close them toilet paper holder was broken off of the sink counter toilet paper was sitting on top of toilet the counter top was delaminated falling off. This is being used for low income housing apartments. NO! JOKE!!!! I’m extremely upset and Disappointed with our stay we had no choice but to stay. We paid for a concert and all hotels in area were booked!! Don’t ever stay here. It’s not a hotel it’s a low income housing complex Advertising as a hotel we got taken advantage of and are extremely upset. Thanks EXPEDIA for a Terrible Experience!!!

The room is very dirty. Chair looks like it was picked up at the dump. The blinds would not shut. Toilet bowl cleaner was splashed all over the toilet seat and left there. The seat was still dirty. The room has a strong onion sent to it. I took several pictures of this disaster, but your site won’t let me upload them saying they are too big. Just another disappointment.

Our room smelled and looked very clean. The workers were very nice and helpful.

The furniture is all torn up - walls are all banged up. There wasn't even a disposable cup in the room. No ice machine at an extended stay hotel! The front desk staff were nice. Silver lining was that the air conditioning worked well.

I didn’t know that I had to do the housekeeping myself. Some of the staff were really nice but there’s this particular lady that was always abrupt anytime I talked to her. Even when I smiled, she was not welcoming at all. I enjoyed the fact that it has a microwave, that was the main attraction. There’s no extractor fan in the bathroom and when I mentioned it, the staff advices that I left the bathroom door open while I take a shower. The steam made the whole bathroom wet after every shower. Overall, I will not want to stay there again because I love the luxury of hotel housekeeping while I’m away from home. That’s part of the vacation.

Reserved a room with 2 queen beds. Check in and was told they only had 1 queen bed rooms left. Room did not have coffeemaker or dryer. IF they happen to have any on hand, you can rent them. It was an extended stay with a stove top and fridge (which was at least 20 years old and missing bottom shelf) but not dishes, silverware, cookware, or appliances. All available to rent, but does not come with the room. Even clean towels cost! So, we used the same towels for 3 days. No hand towels in the room. Stepped on something getting our of bed, a toenail clipping. Someone in a room around us was smoking in their room, which made our room smell like smoke. We had stayed in a Candlewood extended stay hotel 2 weeks prior and what a difference. they could not do enough to make our stay good. Fully supplied in everyway. Plus, their front desk is only opened from 9a.m. to 8p.m. Will never stay at a Woodspring hotel again! Worse stay ever.

Cleanliness , didn’t like that no hair dryer or iron were in rooms as a commodity

The room did not smell good. It smelled of smoke. The noise from the highway was so loud I could not hear the television.

Paying just as much as other hotels in area without any amenities. The room had a very rancid smell that did not decipitate even with windows open or spray that front desk offered upon complaint. Beds are very uncomfortable. The chair in room was stained and torn When I lifted cushion there was many disgusting items.

The chairs leather all ripped up, looks like the just changed the linens but surfaces hadn’t been wiped down, especially in bathroom. The lamp had dust/dirt all over.

the bathtub was dirty, left over food from someone else in the fridge & the toilet clogged so easily

Check in was very smooth. Staff was very accommodating. Great price and quality place to lay our heads after rocking out at a concert. Would recommend to anyone going to an event at the Credit Union 1 Amphitheater.

After been told my room wasn’t ready it still took me 4 hours to clean it before my family entered. Price might be inviting but trust me the extra money somewhere else is worth it.

Feces on the toliet and bathroom walls. The kitchen had marinara sauce splattered on the walls. The floors were dirty. We were asked to take out our own trash. Noone was available at the front desk. We had to call the main phone line to get someone to check us in at 6pm.

I had two rooms. When my friends went into their room, there were flies everywhere, and they had to kill the flies, and while the flies were laying on, the ground ants were all over them. Not a pretty scene. I would expect some compensation in return for this.

It was horrible crack heads staying at hotel room smelled like a old man cologne no service during evening hours just was a all around horrible experience I’m very disappointed in Hotels.com for even having a place like this on your website

The rooms smelled like cigarettes, they were very dirty and had some sort of bug repellant everywhere. The blinds were taped together. Paper thin walls. Unfriendly staff.

I appreciated having a fridge & microwave, however the room & hotel was dirty and room smelled heavily with smoke and mildew and could not get rid of the smell even with deodorizer and after cleaning the room with bleach.

Staff is less than helpful. After a long day of travel my family and I get to the hotel 30 minutes before official check in. My youngest daughter and I both need to use the rest room. Person at the front desk says there are no bathrooms. I know this to be a lie as I have stayed there before. Eventually a manager shows up and tells the person at the front desk to check us in early. After we get checked in, there is a bathroom to use just past the key locked door, the same one I knew was there.
The beds are extremely uncomfortable.
I will not be staying at this hotel again and will probably avoid the entire chain.

The staff was great, but the room was not good at all. I always stay here when I'm traveling for work, and this was first bad experience. For starters the room had no remote for the TV. I had to wait for the receptionist to bring one up and program it, and the pillows was horrible. They looked as if they were off someone bed it was hard to believe that pillows was that flat. The floor didn't look clean. It was just a bad experience overall. The only thing good was the receptionist and he was by himself, but he made it work

Very secure, swipe door key at every door, stayed for 8 days, Clean no smell, staff amazing. Kitchen made life easy and saved us money

The room I was assigned smelled and the room felt dirty. Furniture was very worn down. I ask for another room and it was much better. Did not smell, seemed much cleaner, and furniture was not in as bad of shape.

Softball family from out of state and thought the prices of the hotel were great for our weekend. The outside of the property looked nice and check in was easy. Rooms were large and fairly clean and smelled ok…. That’s about where it ended. I should have know there was a catch to why it was so cheap . Tweakers hanging out the back entrance, elevator smelled like straight vomit, rooms smelled of cigarettes and weed, kids running around unattended everywhere, and I’m 💯 sure half the guests lived there. Good spot for a cheap hook up (fairly certain saw a hooker hanging off a guys car door), and overall definitely felt out of place and will never book here again, which was a shame because the price was decent. 10:00 am house keeping knocks to remind me to check out by 11:00 which has never happened to me at a hotel. I said I’m aware and she goes well you have 45 min, which leads me to believe people don’t check out and just try to stay. Definitely will not be staying here again.

not the best option. this property isn’t safe & i never received any contact back when voicing my concerns & asking for assistance .

Super ghetto. The people staying here are not using this place as a hotel but as a place to live. Pots and pans and plates were not provided, and when we wanted to check out early they wouldn't reimburse us for the night we didn't stay.

Bad and not clean !

It’s a nice hotel if you need something cheap for a couple nights. Reminded me of a dorm room.

Staff was so nice, but the rooms are not properly cleaned between guests. I switched rooms and even in my new room there was still visible dirt and scum.

Plain. No frills. Quiet. Comfortable.

This hotel has the simple basics. It was clean and relatively updated. I felt safe alone and the check in staff was friendly. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Overbooked no room when I checked in
0.5
Lied about being overbooked the day before I was set to arrive but guaranteed me a room. Half from Memphis to Illinois they called to inform me that there was now flood damage and that they’d have to move my reservation to the nearest WoodSpring Suites Chicago Darien. Front desk representative’s customer service was horrible, I felt like we bothered her when asking questions! It was obvious she wasn’t in the mood to work that day! I asked a question, she answered it and walked off around the corner before I could say anything else. Huge attitude, eye rolling and deep breathing! We finally get checked in and open the door to our room. The light in the bathroom didn’t work. The beds look like jail cots with a thicker mattress. I realized quickly to not sit quickly on the bed because it slides easily. Walls are very thin, the occupants next door argued and fought for hours both nights! Ohh, last but not least….we found a roach in the bathroom with a huge egg sack on its back! Called the front desk and surprise, no answer after multiple attempts!
