We had an overall great stay with our family of four (kids ages 9 and 6) and my parents at the beginning of August. The cabin is enormous and several more guests could have stayed comfortably. It has fun amenities, including air hockey, shuffleboard, foosball, cornhole, and board games, which kept the kids happy! The highlight for them was the hot tub! The highlights for the rest of us were the incredible 360 views of the lake and mountains, which we could not get enough of. I am still missing those views! We cooked several meals in the kitchen and found most of what we needed. Now, a few notes. While we were happy with the cabin, the pictures online somehow made the interior look much newer and more modern. This is not a new property and it is showing its age in places. The stairs up to the deck and front door are steep and very bowed, which seems like a real safety hazard, the carpet has seen some hard living, there were some ants inside the front door, etc. None of this would have been a problem if pictures didn’t make the place look SO new and modern. Several bathroom outlets did not work, likely due to blown fuses. Finally, this is our fault for not reading the listing carefully, but there is no A/C, like most buildings in the area. It was quite hot during our stay, so temperature control was difficult. We kept all the windows open and it was hot during the day and freezing cold by the middle of the night. Overall, we loved staying here and would again in the future!

We absolutely loved this property. We were a party of eight from three different families. The house had plenty of space for all of us and was very comfortable for each of us. We will absolutely stay here again! The location is perfect for accessing the National Park and surrounding areas.

We spent a long weekend in Grand Lake and were fortunate to stay here. It was a beautiful home with lots of space, amazing views, and a fun game room that we made great memories in. I would highly recommended staying here!

It was amazing , my family and me loved these place it’s was comfortable, beautiful and clean great view to the lake , we had reservation for 2 night and wile we were there decide to stay more so we ad a night and it was easy and fast , really good communication with the manager of property I’ll really will go back .

We had an amazing stay! Everyone was so comfortable. There was space for everyone and the kids loved spending time inside and out! Breathtaking 360 views. Fun for everyone. What an awesome way to start the Thanksgiving break! We will be back!

what a wonderful place -large rooms on 3 different levels with amazing views of the woods and the lakes below - indoor fireplace - outdoor fire pit - deck from which to view it all. We Loved every minute of our weekend stay.

We enjoyed our time at the Grand Chalet with our family. The accommodation are great with spectacular views. We enjoyed the great outdoors with hikes along with relaxing evening on the patio close to fire. We will definitely revisit next soon. Thank you for sharing you lovely home.

Incredible stay with over the top views that take your breath away! Views from every window! The home is warm, very inviting and comfortable with much seating, in & out. The beds are comfortable and sleep many! We were 10. The kitchen is well equipped & furnished with a huge dining table to accommodate many , makes a great family get together! TVS everywhere and interactive games too ! The grandkids love it! We loved our stay , so relaxing! We were surrounded by hiking/ walking trails & close to town too, with many eating options as well. We'll be back! :)

This was an awesome weekend at the Grand Chalet. Wonderful accommodations and spacious. The views are spectacular overlooking Grand Lake. The weather was perfect, which made sitting on the grand deck so enjoyable with unobstructed views. The home has all the necessities for a comfortable weekend. Many indoor games and recreational items for those that enjoy the indoors. A very well appointed chalet in the mountains. Im excited to return again

We loved our stay but wanted to pass on that there is a deck post that is loose near the hot tub that could pose a risk to young travelers. Also, there are at least 20-30 bats that are nesting in the roof. They tend to come out around last light near the front entrance.

A lovey home with beautiful views and comfortable furnishings. A family gathering of 11 had lots of room to spread out. Games in loft provided entertainment for 7,10 and 11 year olds. Kitchen was will equipped too. Would highly recommend! We will come back!

The house was very nice with stunning views! Check-in went perfectly. We had everything we needed to prepare the meals we brought. We had 14 in our group, three generations, ranging from 18 months to 69 years old. We hiked around the property and went to local trails and events. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks!

It was amazing! From check in to check out. The process of check in was easy. The cabin was in great shape. The host were very thoughtful as we had everything we needed with exception of food (our responsibility). The views were to die for! We really enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave. The pictures does this place no justice. Being there exceeded our expectations. We will definitely recommend and stay again!

This spacious home is nestled in and above a gorgeous mountain setting. Every window offered beautiful views. The space was very large with vaulted ceilings. Wrap around porch was a great place to relax. The entire home is well equipped with quality items. Furniture is beautiful and comfortable, excellent night sleep in very comfy bed. And the largest closet full of fluffy towels! Easy driveway parking and garage spaces. There are also full size washer & dryer. You will not want for anything at this property. Can't wait to come back!

I've never been in a rental home that looked better in person than in the photos until the Grand Chalet! This home is incredibly clean, has spectacular views, is private, and is in absolutely great shape. A few highlights: 1. Well Stocked - From ample dishes/coffee cups/cocktail & wine glasses to an abundance of cooking utensils, pots & pans, spices, coffee, oils, and sharp knives, Grand Chalet had the kitchen space absolutely dialed in. - Same goes for board games, sheets, towels, blankets (a must in the mountains), pillows, and soaps. 2. Great Quality - Everything in the Grand Chalet was quality! The furniture (especially the beds/sheets), the kitchen tools, the towels, the appliances and the couches were all very high quality. This is in stark contrast to other rental homes I've been where the owners really cut costs on the quality of the furnishings. 3. Absolutely Cozy - The Grand Chalet has everything you need for an incredible stay. It truly feels like it's a place that you personally own because of the personal touches and attention to detail at every turn. If you're looking for a quality mountain getaway, look no further. The Gran Chalet is it! Thank you to the hosts for making your home such a wonderful experience for us! All of your thoughtfulness and attention to the details really make this home shine.

My initial thought, when looking out the front windows of the home, was that we could have been in the Swiss Alps. What a fabulous view of the lake, the mountains and beyond. It is so quiet and peaceful, truly lovely. The home itself was equipped with everything we could possibly have needed for our wonderful weekend getaway.

Amazing stay with family to celebrate my birthday! The chalet is so cozy and comfortable from sofa to beds. Lots of amazing space to spread out. Amazing kitchen, fully loaded. Played Foose ball, walked/ hiked the area, went to town for a couple dinners. Mainley just sitting on deck taking in the incredible views was the highlight each day, watching for wildlife. Such a relaxing and enjoyable stay @ the Grand Chalet. We'll be back!

This home truly made our vacation to Colorado one to remember! Very comfortable, quiet, and spacious for our family gathering. Well stocked kitchen for home cooking. Perfect home base for our adventures to Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake and Winter Park. Really appreciated all the games this home had. Especially the Foosball table! The views overlooking the lake were outstanding. Especially in the morning from the deck with a nice cup of coffee! Oh and we saw a moose! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

This is the perfect vacation spot: unreal views, so much space, lots of games, and newly renovated place. 10 of us had plenty of room, and the host was extremely communicative/ helpful. Place was spotless when we arrived, and had all the amenities we needed. Also, THE VIEWS. 10/10 would come back.
