Very old hotel that overlooks a creepy abandoned hotel. Lovely team in general and a nice owner, but, what ruined it for me was the small things. They tried to charge us (i hope you are sitting down) 10 Euro per room for AC. Otherwise in sweaty Italy in August they shot down your AC. Yes yes. I had to spend 50 minutes with hotels.com who had to call them and tell them they can't do that.
Then they wanted to charge for a very mediocre pool another 10 Euros per two hours (?) and finally, forgot to mention to me that parking costs 20 Euros per night. They insisted they have and I am certain they haven't.
They were fine in the end and did not charge us for AC or pool, but unless i have complained, i would have paid much more for basic elements. The hotel is very very old school and old in general (the towels were leaving pieces of towel small parts on our skins after shower....)
I would suggest they charge an extra 20 Euros for each night, rather than play games like that. No one would have complained about that.
Team was nice in other ways – helping me call Budget (don’t even think about that by the way), sending plates to our rooms so we can eat cereal and such.

The Staff is incredible and the property is clean and well maintained. The beds and pillows were incredibly hard. Literally felt like burlap. The neighborhood is run down.
Incredible staff made up for the rest of the shortcomings. Pool was nice. AC is week.

Very friendly reception. Rooms were adequate and clean. Beds not super comfortable, but we have had worse in Italy.
It should be noted that to use the pool you need to reserve and pay a fee of 5€ per person. It would have been nice to know this in advance as the pool was part of the reason we booked this property.
Also of note, there is very little paid parking available but street parking wasn’t a problem.
Overall this property was as expected. A reasonable priced accommodation with a close drive to Pompeii archeological park.

Our experience in Europa Stabia Hotel was extraordinary!
Why?
1) We came late and dear Francesca, the daughter of the hotel owner, immediately checked us in smoothly and professionally to a nice high level room facing the sea side and the property's beautifully groomed front side entrance.
2) In the morning we were greeted nicely by the lovely Francesco, the hotel owner, who told us that he will do everything to make us feel at home, and so he did (for example - shattered phone screen which was fixed within one hour with discount, PCR test that was done in 15 minutes, answer to my email within few hours, and a discount, nice recommendations and tips etc... and overall great smile, positive energy and sharp mind). We have received top notch service the whole 4 night stay... Originally planned to do 3, but we decided to have one extra.
3) For Pompeii and Sorrento, the hotel location was perfect, smack in the middle between them, and 40 minute drive from Positano. Parking available in the hotel (extra cost), however there is plenty of parking on the street outside.. Francesco was kind to treat us with free parking on our last night.
4) The facilities, property and rooms are super clean, great smell all around. We had comfy beds and a big balcony, even a bathtub in the bathroom, good AC. Hotel has a cute pool area with sun beds, green grass and cocktails delivered by dear Vincenzo. Computer station for any need, restaurant, a basic yet fresh and decent breakfast.
Grazie Mille!!!

The hotel was beautifully decorated and very spacious, All staff were hygiene and COVID aware. Francesco and the rest of the staff team were very welcoming, providing helpful information on how to get around, things to see and places to eat. The Lungomare restaurant recommended was excellent.
