The direction to hotel was hard to find. There was a gate and we kept on going round and round trying to figure out how to get in. Bigger sign would be helpful.
The room was very basic. We had issues with ants, so that was not too good. Breakfast was basic but good. Once inside the compound, there was plenty of parking. And the nuns who were running the place were very sweet. Overall though, for that price, I’d stay elsewhere.

Narrow road to the property. No swimming pool that I saw on the property but really only had interaction with management other than to get keys no onsite personnel. Breakfast was two small bottles of juice and two coffee pod’s and a couple packages of bread with jelly enough for two people one day, we were there two. Maybe the maid was supposed to replenish them but no maid service.

The property did not have a sign. It looks like it was convent in the past. The nuns were very nice. The breakfast was good but it did not offer eggs or any hot food.

If you don't speak Italian, Ancelle means convent! This is a former convent turned into hotel, run by nuns. The nuns are very nice, the rooms were spotless, the breakfast was delicious, and if the weather was nice you might eat on the patio with gorgeous views of the bay below. We were just surprised. It still feels like a convent, complete with statues of the Madonna & a crucifix over your very hard bed. The location is great if you have a car. If not, it's a 30 Euro taxi ride into town, 100 Euro to Sorrento or the Naples airport, and the roads nearby are main highways, not very walkable. If you find yourself without a car, the nearby restaurant, Don Mimi was delicious!

This place is run by the sweetest Nuns, and has a great view! You will feel wonderful supporting them, and they severed the BEST croissant with breakfast. Wonderful people, who were very sweet and giving. The bed was a bit hard, but it is truly a unique experience to spend the night in a place of worship.

This was a truly unique (for us) experience in travel and was really quite charming. The nuns that run this hotel are super sweet and helpful. The views are extraordinary and the breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented! There is free parking but you can't easily walk anywhere from the hotel. We did truly enjoy our stay there!

If you’ve never stayed at a religious guest house, you should! It’s usually a wonderful experience. The nuns are sweet, the room simple but immaculate (like the conception, ha ha!). Ask for a balcony. Good breakfast and wifi. A LONG uphill walk from town, however.

The hotel gives the appearance of being a convent in the rooms, with the beds being rather hard. However it is very convenient for what we needed.

The hotel is a former convent but still run by friendly nuns. We were there for New Year's Eve and had an spectacular view of the fireworks. The hotel is very close to Vico Equense, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast... there is easy access to the beach. I could tell that they put extra effort in keeping rooms impecable. I'm planning in going back in the summer... love it!
