It was the only spot available down in Saint Claude
Very standard hotel but pricey. I did not have many expectations but ratio price/quality was not good

Central heating not working - room was cold

Great location and views a short walk outside the town, excellent bathroom facilities (particularly impressive shower) and very helpful and friendly staff. Had a very pleasant dinner outside the hotel and there was a very good breakfast.
I’m happy to walk up the stairs instead of using the (small) lift but the stairwell was very dark and would benefit from some automatic lights.

Good facilities, very clean, superb breakfast, convenient for exploring St Claude and well located for the never-too-steep D304 that we cycled on up to Lamura
On quite a busy road, but we were able to choose a quiet room (with no view). And it didn’t open till 16.00 which would normally be fine but we were on bikes and the weather was very hot (so we’d arrived early)

Room was quiet yet with a view - our wish kindly granted! Airy despite the heat outside. Location nice walking distance to centre of St. Claude. Breakfast was tasty, fresh and cleverly presented. Safe free overnight storing space for our bicycles provided.
Most rooms with valley view may also be on the noisy street side. Check in or even baggage drop before 16h00 not possible. Restaurant space is a bit bland despite the great location of the hotel that offers a nice view and a bit of green.

The location, easy check-in, stunning views and a good Resturant.
Nothing really. You need to keep the shutters closed in the summer (it’s fine in the evening) as the room gets very hot but the owner explains this to you.

the owner was very welcoming on my arrival and took time to talk to me. he is very committed to giving great customer service. the food was great. try the local sausage dish! there was a garage to keep my motorcycle secure. it is at a small extra charge but it clearly says so. nothing was too much trouble
didnt not particularly like but its unusual to have a room that doesnt have tea and coffee making facilities. Again, this is noted at booking and shouldnt be a surprise

Location
Strange smell in reception and in the dining room, rooms are very basic. we couldn’t have an evening meal as they had “run out of food” and breakfast options were limited.

Excellent breakfast and friendly staff in the breakfast room.
The spectacular view from the balcony of our room.
We booked this hotel because it had not one but two restaurants ,
because after a long car journey the last thing we want is to get back in the car to try and find somewhere to eat in a strange town, but the restaurants are closed at the weekend a fact which is omitted from the hotel's particulars on Booking.com. The room was not cleaned or toiletries replenished, apparently part of the covid rules in France, a fact that we were not made aware of when booking in.
The hotel itself is shabby and to our mind needs a complete refurbishment.

All rooms were sufficient large and well equipped, with large cupboards. Some rooms had a balcony and panoramic view. Most rooms had a nice bathroom as well.
Finally a hotel with an elevator!
Plenty of space to park your vehicles.
Even when most rooms were comfortable and had a nice bathroom, not all did. At least one bathroom (mine) was equipped with a - dirty - shower curtain. When checking out, I told the receptionist about my experience with said curtain. She immediately agreed with me, stating: "don't you hate it when they cling on to your body!" So at least she understands, now the management has to follow and act accordingly.

All went well. Thanks
Modernity of the rooms could be improved.
