We had a really lovely stay! The host was incredibly generous and gave us a complimentary upgrade. The room was gorgeous, fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bar was great as was the pub next door. We will definitely be returning!

The hotel was elegant and in superb condition . Classy and quirky is another description along with well run and polite staff.
My only critique is the check in 4pm Check out 10am , this is not standard times for hotels and does not allow the visitor to enjoy the hotel enough, Suggest 3pm check and 11am check out in line with standard times for most hotels. overall though an excellent hotel.

Excellent hotel with quality fixtures and fittings. Lovely rooms and extremely friendly staff.

Thanks for the amazing customer service from Minty. We would definitely come and stay again.

Check in was poor. It felt cold and impersonal. To summarise, it could be shortened to "fill this card in, pay here, your room is that way".
No record of breakfast forming part of our stay, so later checked with Expedia and they confirmed it was. Subsequently rechecked with hotel and told no.
It wasn't until the following morning that someone else checked, asked if we had booked with Expedia, and told us that the two systems didn't pass all details on correctly (a known fault). Which begs the question, why don't staff know this when they are checking you in?
Room clean, tidy and comfortable.
Hotel clean and tidy too.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel just outside the town of Stratford upon Avon. The hotel is beautifully furnished and room had all you would expect from 5*. All of the staff were friendly and attentive to our requests.
We enjoyed our evening meal and the full English breakfast. Would recommend and would stay again should we visit this part of the country.

Staff helpful and accommodating, but room was a bit noisy at night due to other guests inconsideration.

A really pleasant hotel with the bonus of within walking distance of Stratford 1mile. Friendly helpful staff and a good selection for Breakfast. We are vegetarian and one gluten free but this was well catered for.

Hotel clean tidy and quiet. We had a pre booked breakfast which was good. Only down side was the £5 charge for parking. There is nothing around to justify the charge looks better if they just add it to the booking cost.

Everything was wonderful. Thank you!

We were supposed to stay in the cottage as a group of friends but 2 days before our trip we were asked to move to 3 double bedrooms. We asked for the family suite instead so we would have a big communal space and this was a huge, gorgeous room! Would be very expensive for a family for one night but divided by 4 friends it was fine. We were disappointed not to stay in the cottage but the staff and hotel were lovely. The only downside of the room was the temperature, it was absolutely boiling even though we turned it right down and opened all the windows. Perhaps the heating need not have been on at all. The toilet roll holder also fell off the wall. Otherwise all was very high quality. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast but if paying the breakfast would have been very expensive and was small portions. Poached egg was not runny and orange juice not fresh. Beautiful hotel, good location near lovely stratford but traffic noise when windows open.

Lovely hotel with very attentive, friendly staff. Spotlessly clean throughout. Very comfortable bed, quiet area so had a great nights sleep. Had dinner and breakfast, both were very good. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice clean rooms with excellent decor and comfy beds. Staff were very helpful with booking taxis etc. Not sure why you need to pay for parking on top of paying for the room though. Breakast was very good, but if we'd had to pay separately, I do think £16 is a bit steep for a full english.

What a lovely little hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, providing a very warm welcome. We had two rooms both of which were pretty huge, well equipped and very comfortable. Would 💯 recommend and will use again when staying in the area.

We stayed in five different hotels on our tour across England, and this room was by far the favorite of the entire family. We stayed in the family suite, which was just incredible. It’s literally larger than most apartments I have been in. The beds are comfortable, the location was fabulous, and I’ve already recommended to several people I know coming into the area. We will definitely return!

A nice property in a good location. Not much to fault really - the room was nice and the whole hotel had a pleasant feel to it. The only criticism is that the breakfast was pretty pricey for what was incredibly average food.

Top marks for cleanliness ,staff, food and facilities . Definitely the only hotel I would use if in the area again. Total value for money 👍👍👍

All staff were very friendly and attentive. Beautifully decorated room and comfortable bed. The hotel was immaculate and clean. We would recommend the Burnside for its quiet location within close proximity to Stratford-upon-Avon.

The staff are so welcoming and the hotel is lovely.
Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfortable, great night sleep.
We also had a bit to eat in the bar area, the food was lovely also.
Will definitely go back again🤗

Only criticism would be that our eggs and black pudding were undercooked.

We spent one night at the hotel and wish we could have stayed longer.
There was plenty of parking to the front of the property...all areas of the hotel are monitored by cctv at reception. Nice easy check in by a friendly lady on reception.
The room was lovely, could not fault it at all. The bed was really comfy with quality bedding. Tv had lots of channels and you can connect it to your phone. Shower is great, plenty of hot water and the towels are a generous size :) the whole room is tastefully decorated, everything is spotlessly clean and smelled fresh. Really couldn't fault it at all which is unusual for me!! The staff were great, friendly and helpful. If you smoke, there are tables and chairs outside the front where you can have a puff. The hotel is obviously kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and no complaints there either, enjoyable food and friendly efficient service.
We look forward to returning in a few months time.

Fabulous hotel , lovely staff , good breakfast.
The only thing was that our safe didn’t work and we reported it and it still wasn’t mended but didn’t cause too much of a problem.
Our room wasn’t cleaned on the Friday which we thought was strange , again didn’t cause too much of a problem we didn’t even let the staff know because we were Leaving the next day anyway , and it was too late by the time we discovered that it hadn’t been done .

Beautifully clean, great food, very comfortable bed, we enjoyed every aspect of this hotel. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Nicely presented hotel with excellent staff (especially the waiter in the dining room). The room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful shower room. A little lacking in natural light as the only window was high up at street level, but not really an issue.
Excellent bed and pleasant furnishings.
Only slight gripe was the £5 parking fee, which I don’t think was advertised. It’s not a lot, but where else are you going to park? It should just be part of the amenities of the hotel- and accessible parking in a town like Stratford-upon-Avon is a necessity.

Food is excellent.
Room was superb.
We would stay here again.

Cute, warm and comfortable with friendly staff. The main negative point is paper thin walls: you'll hear neighbours talk, walk, etc...
Didn't find the cosy lounge that is pictured: the bar is trendy but not cosy, so you don't really feel like hanging out. If you are there just to sleep and not a light sleeper, it's a good clean modern place.

I would stay at the Burnside hotel again in a shot. Only 1 mile from the centre of Stratford but in quiet area in walking distance of Anne Hathaway's Cottage and another pub (as the bar isn't the most comfortable for drinks unless pre-meal drinking).
The Executive room was very large and comfortable (two twins fastened together gave plenty of room). Daily room service and top up of water, tea, coffee, shampoo and free "guest kits" etc.
Minty seemed to be there all the time & was very approachable and helpful. A real asset to the hotel.
The team were keen to receive feedback on how they can improve the guest experience & I got the feeling this was genuine as a comment on food when we ate there was referred to the head chef the following day & they also wanted feedback on breakfast (ask for toast with the main meal or after or you get it within mins of sitting down).
Although I would stay again and have no hesitation in recommending the hotel I do feel that charging £5 for parking is very cheeky. Its not in the centre of London or on an airport. If you really want an extra £5, add it on to the cost of the room as it just seems like a money grabbing unnecessary charge.

Fantastic breakfast!

Very pleasant and clean rooms.
This should be a lovely hotel and I guess we were unlucky that the heating was making some crazy noises at various times during the night.
What can’t be forgiven was the quality of the food and service.

A well appointed luxury boutique hotel situated on outskirts of Stratford on Avon. The King size bedroom was a good size with en-suite shower room and bed was very comfortable. There is a good choice at breakfast served in a very pleasant restaurant with modern decor. All the staff very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is located in Shottery and about a 25 minute easy walk into Stratford.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel was spotless. All staff were friendly and helpful. Special care taken with reference to Covid vulnerability. Lovely breakfast. Cannot fault anything and was glad I had chosen to stay there. Many thanks.

Hotel nice and clean staff lovely but well over priced for £278 for 1 night bed and breakfast
Size and quality of room not worth it
