Great renovated, comfortable room. Would definitely stay here again. Literally the only thing that could have been better would be providing bigger and/or more bath towels, because the bath towels were pretty small, but otherwise all was great.

We found our new hotel near our son’s college. The hotel was very nice. Bed was comfy & room was updated. Parking available for $15. Note- they charge 20% at check-in for incidentals that is refunded 2-3 day later. They do let you know. Restaurant was very good & hidden courtyard. Head chef & staff was super nice!

15 min walk to Fiserve. We walked to and from Fiserv area 3x exploring/grabbing a bite to eat before/after our concert and felt safe. Upon entering from parking lot in back ($15/night), the stairwell/hallways felt a little cold/bare. It is an older building with no elevators, but the room was great! Very clean and newly renovated. Included kitchenette (gas stove/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, plates/cookware, etc). We only used fridge, but nice to have the option. Bedding, towels, toiletries were wonderful. Staff was super nice We would stay again if in the area.

I ‘ll be back!

Noisy, doors in other rooms were heard at all hours and traffic outside the main bedroom woke us several times. There are no elevators if dtairs are a concern.
All other aspects of the rooms were good. Very clean! Coffee shop near and places of interest were walkable.

Great cafe for breakfast and lunch

We loved the feeling of security we had at this property. Very well kept and clean. Staff was super accommodating when we checked in early.

Charming, clean, helpful staff and wonderful onsite restaurant. Would stay there again.

Love The Plaza Hotel

Nicely kept hotel with a good room. The only issue we had was the check in assistant. The rest of the staff were nice.

I was pleasantly surprised. For such an old building, the updates that have been made were lovely. The room was large, with a full kitchen! and incredibly clean. There's a certain charm in The Plaza and breakfast was absolutely DELISH!!! I would definitely stay again.

For me The Plaza was a charming time warp. The pre-WWII Architecture has been impeccably maintained which adds to the hotel's warm & comfortable feeling. Even the wood flooring in our spacious 1st floor room creaked under our movement about the room.
There is a cafe on the ground level with exceptional breakfast & lunch meals. Unfortunately, it's only open from 7:00am until 2:00pm.
Our room with two queen beds had a full kitchen which offered the opportunity to make meals. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from a large Kroger's grocery store that has every possible food item you could want.
We found the hotel staff very friendly with the exception on one young lady who found it necessary, and her duty, to tell my fishing partner & roommate that there was no napping in the comfortable chairs in the hotel lobby. She performed this task with all the charm of a prison matron!

Very nice hotel with HUGE kitchens. Will definitely be back!

Very cute hotel. Built years back and love the old school authenticity. Rooms are very updated

Wonderful place to stay!

It was like pulling teeth with front desk, no directions on parking and when we parked on street we got a printed blurb w a number for city. It would be helpful if they told you that it can be done online. Being from out of town, also inquired about hop, rather than saying go a block down, they just said look it up online. Other than the lackadaisical staff, the lady at check out was much better. Id go back but wish staff was more helpful

Quite the architectural charm and the breakfast was excellent. Thumbs up!

Great room and location!

The diner has good food and better vibes

The place was very clean, friendly staff and well kept up. It has a lot fo its original historic charm which I really liked.

The hotel was very nice. I really enjoyed the art deco style. The staff was very friendly. The cafe had excellent food. I would definitely stay here again.

While I was shocked that the building didn't have an elevator, its charm was readily evident. The rooms were modern and generous in size (except when the couch was folded out). The Plaza is in an interesting, eclectic neighborhood, easy walking distance to local points of interest, restaurants, and Metro Mart, a local grocery. We didn't eat in the cafe, but the line when we checked out Sunday morning was almost out the door! The stairs were a little difficult, but I'd stay here again.

It was a great experience.

The poperty was well maintained, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the cafe had wonderful and service.

The Plaza Hotel is updating rooms. Unfortunately we were an older room, which was ok, but as compared to the room that our friends had it had a lot to be desired. There was mold in grout lines, chipped tiles, and just an overall very small room.
4.2
No elevators!

Fabulous stay! So close to Fiserv and fun walkable restaurants (and the Bronze Fonz!). Desk staff was lovely, parking is great, and the building is quaint. How nice to walk down the steps to brunch on Sunday. This will be my go-to hotel when traveling to Milwaukee!
4.2
The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. Will stay again on future trips.

This is such a a classic hotel. Beautiful building and so well maintained..

Do you feel how in house
4.2
This hotel was advertised as newly renovated but unfortunately upon entering our room we realized how dated it was. The bathroom was outdated as well as the attached kitchen and there was not temperature control for the room. The room had a radiator that got so hot the only solution was the keep the windows open all night. Aside from that, the staff was friendly and attentive and it was a unique building. Ultimately it felt like we were paying for the location rather than any amenities.
4.2
The property is very charming for a romantic getaway. The room was updated and clean, and was just what we were looking for. Parking was on-site and convenient. Would definitely stay here again.
4.2
We had reservations at another place that got cancelled and the Plaza took us in immediately. The front desk staff were so friendly! We had a beautifully renovated room with a kitchenette. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the bedding was lovely. The cafe downstairs never disappoints and is always tasty!
4.2
I've enjoyed staying at The Plaza over several years when visiting Milwaukee. It is within easy walking distance to several restaurants and places of interest.
4.2
The building had a really cool retro urban vibe and the updated room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I didn't see an elevator, so if you are troubled by stairs, consider that when choosing rooms.
4.2
Really nice rooms and a unique stay. Can be a little noisy and I am pretty sure doesn’t actually have central air (just had a radiator and a fan in my room) but the windows could be opened so it was fine. A little noisy, but I think old buildings just have thin walls. Otherwise, it’s in a good part of town close to so many things and I would stay here again.
4.2
Lovely old hotel with clean, comfortable, updated rooms and an excellent cafe for breakfast. Manager was very helpful.
4.2
The Plaza Hotel was such a great getaway location. It was conveniently located to everything we needed, and The Hop had a stop just a couple of blocks away. Breakfast was spectacular with a good mix of visitors and locals who just like the food and atmosphere. The decor was charming yet updated with all the modern conveniences.
4.2
The Plaza Hotel is right in the heart of Milwaukee with lots to do. It is a beautiful, historic old hotel that is extremely well kept. We will definitely stay here again. A great bargain for the price.

Great older property with total renew. Wonderful breakfast.
