What a great staff and an interesting Inn. The food was amazing and a big draw to the locals. The history behind the Inn is something else. Just ask the staff. We would definitely go back.Close to Windsor and London.

I get it’s old. The hotel needs investment. Fortunately we only stayed 1 night.
4.4
Perfectly decent place, located in a nice area. The road behind our room was a bit noisy in the morning, but there's nothing for the hotel to do about that. All in all enjoyable.

Another great stay here. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
A lovely, relaxing way to start the holiday.
Highly recommended.

A beautiful old pub. I loved the atmosphere there. The room was great and the pub had lovely surroundings.

This was a great place to stay close to Heathrow, yet in a quiet village pub with great food.

Beautiful historical mansion

Looking for a location near Heathrow Airport that could accomadate family member with limited mobility. They were able to provide a 1st floor room with no stairs to climb and easy parking. Very good food available inside the pub although the servive was a bit slow. Staff members were super nice and made us feel very much at home.

Old English Inn with a lot of history. Well maintained, good staff, good food and bar.

Establishment is this VERY old (1106) building or set of buildings just a short trip from Heathrow which is why we chose it. Staff are welcoming and accomodating, bar and resteraunt area is warm, cozy and quirky. Theres a nice garden sitting area to eat or have drinks. We had a couple of snacks (hummis and mac and cheese and bith were quite good?. Beer selection is respectable and the wife enjoyed her white wine. Bed was comfy and room well appointed. Airplane noise may be a concern (can be on takeofff path) and eas the evening we were hear but dient prevent us from getting rest. Will stay here again.

the staff really made our stay amazing!

Really good location, convenient distance to Heathrow and Windsor. The Inn was historic and charming. Note- the reception closes at 11 PM, so if you have a late flight make sure you try to get there prior to this.

This inn was really lovely. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and bed was comfortable. The convenience to the airport was a plus.

Old historic building in a quite town

This is a very historical hotel and pub. Lots of character with comfortable rooms. The pub food was fantastic and the staff very friendly. We had a tub in our room that was big and inviting. The stairs are old and getting luggage up and down it was a challenge. Close to London Heathrow.
You can hear the cars on the road but it dies down in the evening.

This is an absolute gem. accommodations were perfect and so was the staff. Such a great story of the place, amazing patio, amazing everything. Took the typical hotel experience and turned it into magic!! I would come back for sure

What a truly unique experience in this nearly 1,000 year old venue. Staff could not be any nicer or more accommodating. On site restaurant and bar were excellent. Great access to buses and airport. Thanks especially to Cherry, who made us feel special.

Very charming, very friendly, and a great kitchen. Next to convenient bus routes to T5, Slough, and Windsor. Each room is different; we were in room 5 and highly recommend it.
4.4
The room was great for authentic pub feel but very bad quality for mattress on pull out sofa. Cannot sleep on. Paper thin and even one night is uncomfortable. Definitely not meant for actual use. Needs to be changed and not offered to third or fourth person for room.

Nice old b&b and great parking. Very close to Heathrow Airport

First impressions on approach was scary, didn’t look promising, once we got in the car park and walk in all doubt fell away. A real gem staff friendly and professional
4.4
Surprisingly nice historical full service hotel/restaurant/bar to stay at when flight next day out of Heathrow.
4.4
Room very nice and the pub is great for food. Nice location and handy for the airport as well as visiting local attractions

Very old inn stayed many times it changed owner ship or management and some of the new staff are not as amazing as the old ones

It is nice for short trip

Such a unique property full of history - perfect way to end our family trip to London. Easy to access Heathrow via bus. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Clean, comfortable room with plenty of space (stayed in the family apartment).

Very noisy

Would definitely book again, great location..Close to Heathrow

It was great staying in this historic inn. It’s been around for ages and has a rustic tavern feel, in a very cute way. Their restaurant was great, very locals vibe. Authentic English food. The room was nicely decorated.
The room faced the street and was not very quiet. You can hear the traffic and at times the room shook from large vehicles passing by.
4.4
The good:
- Plenty of space in the car park
- Excellent food
- Good service
- Atmospheric room (in a good way) and inn in general
The could-be-improved:
- Room 10 (where we were) NEEDS a shower curtain!
- The sofa bed (our 22yo son was with us) was a disaster. A spare mattress on the floor would be better.
The downsides:
- The dinner service was very slow (although worth waiting for), but in their defence they were busier than they had expected; so don't be in a rush.
- Did I mention the sofa bed?

A cute little gem in a quiet town- close to the airport. Great restaurant with live music. Backyard patio was lovely for drinks and music. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The evening meal was very average and my daughters steak was awful .

We loved this quirky wonky hotel. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming on check in. On Friday evening they had live music and we had a few drinks in the bar. Sarah was fantastic! Very friendly and was telling us the history of the building, which was fascinating.
10 minute uber ride to Windsor.
Only negative was going down for breakfast at 10.50 this morning to be told the kitchen was already closed (board outside says till 11). Gutted as the breakfasts did look delicious, shame we didn't get to find out. The staff definitely didn't match the service we'd received on our first night. As we checked out, the staff were dismissive. They continued chatting amongst themselves. No thank you for staying with us, or asking if we'd enjoyed our stay. Which, had they bothered, we would have told them how great the place was.

Great staff; very kind and friendly! Nice, comfortable and clean rooms! Would stay again!

Staff were welcoming and so very helpful when we misplaced our car keys. Breakfast - the full English was full and delicious.
4.4
A lovely stay at the Ostrich Inn, great food and helpful staff. Good clean room too!
4.4
The staff was excellent. They gave us good advice on getting into Windsor . Instead of driving and trying to find parking they suggested the bus. Worked perfectly. We were able to check in early. We thought it might be an issue with noise from Heathrow . We heard a few planes in the evening, but didn’t notice them overnight . We didn’t try the restaurant so we can’t comment. Room was a good size , very comfortable and very nice updated bathroom .

Amazing old building with interesting history in a convenient location for Windsor Castle, Legoland and airport. We were so impressed by how the Inn has managed to provide all of the modern comforts and services one would need while still maintaining the charm and feel of the old old building. We were a family of five staying in apartment two and this apartment is well appointed and spacious for six people. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues (stairs to access, narrow, some short doorways, uneven floors) The laundry machine was out of service when we stayed but management has been advised. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good pub on site.

Glorious old coaching inn with an interesting past!

Enjoyed our one night stay. Lots of character, dinner and breakfast very good. Nice evening across the street at Ye Olde George - pints and pool.
