Stayed here for mine and my boyfriends one year and it’s beautiful ! The lodges are clean and absolutely stunning the people working there dare super kind and easy to talk to if we needed any help . The site is lovely to have a picnic on with the several benches around the sight or just to even have a walk it’s beautiful. Will definitely come here again it was absolutely perfect !

Not only is the lodge fitted out for comfort the log burning fire adds that warmth that is so welcoming on the cold frosty mornings and evenings. Sitting in the hot top in the late afternoon with a glass of wine watching the sun go down through the trees listening to the birds on the numerous feeds. The owners are so available and check to make sure you have everything you need. Lovely welcome gifts of the usual tea, milk and fantastic homemade cake.

It’s the perfect location to explore nearby or even further afield. It’s so peaceful that you can’t help but unwind and relax….of course the hot tub and jacuzzi bath definitely help with that also and looking out at the view/sunset makes you feel miles away from the hustle of reality.
It’s the third time we’ve stayed here now and we will return again. It’s a little bit of luxury hidden by beautiful surroundings and calm.

This is our third time here and we love the peaceful environment and views. We always recommend the place to friends and family and will continue to do so.
Since our last visit we've had a child, and while the lack of internet and phone signal has usually been a welcome part of the stay, this time round having Internet would have helped with planning to make the day easier with a new baby.

Our lodge was beautiful, well kept, clean, and well equipped to make our stay as easy and relaxing as possible. We loved our home baked cake and crusty loaf awaiting us on our arrival and thought this was such a thoughtful touch. We appreciated the wonderful surroundings and spent lots of time in the hot tub admiring the views around us. We also loved the bird feeders hidden in the trees so we could watch the birds come and go.
Our stay was magical and we hope to return soon!

For anyone looking for a weekend or even week away I couldn’t recommend the Gold Oak Farm enough! Once a month me and my partner go away for the weekend and this has got to the best cabin we’ve stayed at.
Super clean, spacious, quiet, fully equipped, amazing sceneries and walks.
Local takeaways and Tesco express about 5 minutes drive away.
On arrival there was freshly baked bread and a lemon drizzle loaf which were both delicious!
We’re already looking at coming back with a 2 friends

Great stay in beautiful area, hot tub and sauna an added bonus, this is our third stay here and we can’t recommend it enough. Lots of lovely walks and great pubs. Dogs are welcome another bonus. We have been in the summer and winter both equally as good. Plenty to see and do. Accommodation is a very high standard we had a dishwasher washing machine and a tumble dryer plus a lot burner perfect for the colder evenings.

Beautiful scenery . Outside seating and hot tub. Spacious lodge lovely bedroom v lux windows helped to keep dogs cool. Love the way lodges are spaced out and over look the lake so private esp when in hot tub. Shall return next year. You have put a lot of thought and effort into making this an ideal holiday stay.
