LOCATION: Motorworks by Roami is ideally situated to let you enjoy New Orleans with ease. It's just a 15 minute walk from the French Quarter and 5 minutes away from the National WWII Museum.
The Space:
The property is just a 5 minute drive from the Central Business District. Experience the ultimate getaway in this recently renovated historic apartment, featuring 20' ceilings that flood the space with natural light and provide all the modern conveniences of home. Additionally, the space is lovingly maintained with original wood floors and fully restored windows, creating a breathtaking atmosphere throughout the entire building.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is any time after 4PM and check-out is any time before 11AM. An early check-in or late check-out time may be available, please inquire about pricing at the time of booking.
ROOM ASSIGNMENT: We furnish all of our properties to a uniform standard, but individual units may differ slightly from the pictures shown. Exact unit is assigned at check-in. Views and square footage may vary slightly.
BEDROOMS: This property sleeps 6 guests in 3 beds and 1 sleeper sofa. Smart TVs are located in each bedroom. See bed count below:

AMENITIES: Guests of the Motorworks building can enjoy exclusive access to the building's rooftop, which includes sun loungers, a summer kitchen, and outdoor dining. In addition, the building also features a gym where guests can engage in cardio workouts.
PARKING: You can park in the Brandywine garage across the street for $40 + tax per night. Metered parking is available along Howard Ave. on a first come, first served basis for $3 per hour. Metered parking is available from 8am -7pm from Monday through Saturday and is free on Sundays.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?: Iron and ironing board, steamer, washer/dryer, 1 pack-n-play crib, free WiFi (Up to a max 75 Mbps) and Smart TVs for your streaming apps like Netflix. Stair gates provided upon availability.

The Unit was very clean and had tons of natural light. Nice layout and finish out. A couple of minor wear and tear items, but all in all very happy with the unit. The neighborhood is just a little off of the main spots so it's quieter at night and not as hectic as something closer to the quarter would be. Short walk to a grocery store, good wine store, WWII museum and some great restaurants. Very close to trolley stop. All in all just a nice experience and no headaches. Highly automated check-in/out which was great for us as well.

Generally, the property is as billed. We had an issue with checkin in that our 3 room suite had not been serviced since the last guests. It was very dirty. The number posted in the suite for issues went to voicemail. 10 times. No one called us back. I wandered over to another building. There was no attendant but there was a different phone number. I called an no answer. I texted and eventually someone texted back and eventually we solved the issue by moving us to a different suite. The other suite was clean and functional except one toilet didn’t work (chain off handle). There was a bit of confusion over the entry code also. My unique code did not work. After all this, I would stay there again based on the assumption that our suite would be clean upon arrival, but it was disappointing as I was hosting two 80 year olds for a weekend birthday celebration. Suggestions - manage housekeeping better, and update the phone numbers posted in the suite for problems.

I would book this Roami again. Location was great for getting in some good walking and in between many things; right near the cable car.

It was a very nice place and we enjoyed our stay.

Good location and nice property at 1st glance. However, we arrived at 4:00 and property was still being cleaned. In fairness to cleaning person, it looked like the prior guests left the place a mess so maybe it took longer, but we were exhausted and wanted to check in. Instead, we headed out in the rain to wander and kill time. Bathroom ceiling had major water damage, blinds were a mess throughout unit, and there were no curtains or blackout shades so place was pretty bright at night from all bedrooms. My bed also had a stale cigarette smell. Location was accessible to French Quarter, grocery store, and restaurants.

My family of 7 enjoyed our stay at the Lola. The rooms were a welcome refuge in the evenings after walking around New Orleans all day. The beds were very soft and comfortable.
The only issue we had is that we had originally reserved a different unit. We found out on our way driving into town, a few hours before check-in, that the unit we had reserved was no longer available as it needed “maintenance”. Sextant at first tried to put us in a smaller unit with less beds than we had reserved, claiming it had the same number of “bedrooms”. However, after checking the listing description, they eventually agreed with us and fixed it and put us in a unit with the number of beds that we reserved. We were very happy with where we ended up and had a wonderful stay.

Please stay here if you like very cheap Uber's to Bourbon, Frenchmen, or if you dont mind walking 20 minutes.
This location had very polished finishes along with an amazing rooftop view to enjoy yoga, coffee, reading and more.
The unit was perfect for the six people that stayed here over the weekend we had enough space to be comfortable.
Odd note is that there are plenty of outlets in this unit so you're never without a place to charge your phone, computer or hooking up your Sonos speaker like I did.
It is very easy to access the unit. we ordered a lot of groceries Uber eats and drivers found this location very easily.
Another item is that there is street parking that is pretty available if you're staying on a weekend because it is right outside the central business district.
I would stay again.

This apartment in New Orleans was modern, stylish, and captured the essence of the warehouse district. Many amenities were provided and the overall building was gorgeous. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

This place has 5 stars across the board for my friends and I. It was 4 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We ended up using Uber to get many places however, that was our choice because of the weather. It is still conveniently located by many amazing restaurants and the street car is right up the street. The apartment was perfect! Adequately stocked with utensils and supplies. It was clean, very comfortable and spacious. The staff was so understanding and very accommodating. All four of our flights got canceled on the day we were supposed to leave and the Sextant staff answered immediately when I messaged them and was able to set us up with another night. So grateful for them and will definitely be using them again the next time I come to New Orleans. I don't have one complaint about my trip.

This place is a dream. It's comfortable, modern and in the ideal location. There's a trolly stop just steps outside so if you want to go uptown it's easy! It's a ten minute walk to the water or the quarter... everything is right there. Plus there's a grocery store just a couple blocks away. The only caveat is that it can be a little loud with street noise, but we anticipated that so it didn't bother us. If you're a light sleeper, bring some headphones or earplugs, and you won't know any different.
We absolutely loved staying here and can't wait to come back!

This was the perfect place for our family visit to New Orleans. It was within walking distance of the museum district and very close to the Garden District and the French Quarter. We loved that we could visit the French Quarter and all the festivities, but return to our street without the crowds. Our family has members that are Vegan and there were plenty of close dining options that offered choices for all of us on the same menu. The place itself was perfect with a super convenient parking garage and the condo was very hip and urban with plenty of space our family to spread out in. We would certainly stay here again.

Very satisfied with the responsiveness of this host and the property itself. We were able to book on very short notice and the host provided us with a unit in a very timely manner. The stay was very secure, amenities were wonderful, and the place was clean, modern, and had its own washer and dryer which was really nice. There was broken blinds and a leaky window in one room, but because we weren't on the ground floor, we were not as concerned and the host was immediately responsive to this. The location is very ideal and not far removed from points of interest including the WWII museum, French Quarter, and other restaurants/bars. Neighborhood was drastically improved from our original stay and I would certainly book through Sextant Stays the next time I'm in New Orleans.

We absolutely loved this location in New Orleans. The apartment is very modernly designed. So clean and location was fantastic. About a 15-20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to Bourbon Street. We loved the digital assistant in the dining room. Check-in was super easy and sextant stays personnel were very responsive on the app. Super flexible with check-in and check-out. Definitely a must stay if you can. If you see this available consider yourself lucky and book right away.
