Trung is a very good host.Very responsive and always available to answer any questions you may have. The house is absolutely beautiful and is set up with anything you may need.Extremely clean and comfortable. The property is beautiful and well taken care of.I gave trunk five stars because he definitely deserves it.The only issue I had during my stay was completely out of the host control. This would be the neighbor across from the house. He spends his day sitting inside his doorway watching your every move and has many questions.I had a very good ( Black ) friend show up and park in the driveway meeting up to do some jet skiing and boatingSaid neighbor decides that he needs to inquire about whether the black man was with us and should be there.I brought this up to the hostAnd he apologized for his neighbor's actions but again this situation is completely out of his control. And once again I cannot say what a great host he was.All in all this was a very pleasant trip minus the moments of racial embarrassment

Really lovely place right on the river. Used the kayaks a few time...we paddled to the riverfront restaurant about a mile up the river!!!! Really great way to spend an afternoon!!! The grill ran out of propane but the owners replaced it right away. Still had trouble with the grill... might be on its last legs but we just cooked our meals in the oven instead. I highly recommend this place.

Pro: Overall the property is nice. It was clean and well stocked. The owner was accommodating and allowed an early check in and a late checkout.
Con: When booking the house we were not aware that it was a shared unit because the listing says entire house. I read a recent review and learned someone lives in the basement. It was too late to cancel so our group proceeded with the reservation. We were group of moms in our 40s that live across the east coast and only see each other once a year. Our time spent away from our families is limited. On Fri we were up at 12am playing music and talking. The couple downstairs came up and told us it’s too loud and they were trying to sleep. The next day we tried to apologize to them and understand the rules. The woman was rude and said curfew is 10pm and it was on the listing. On Sat night the couple downstairs seemed to be having a party- there was yelling and doors slamming until midnight. Then about 5 men left the property early the next morning. I understand that we may have been disruptive to someone trying to sleep but if we were aware it was a shared property when booking the home, we would not have chosen this house. Her attitude made us uncomfortable. I encourage you to update the listing to accurately reflect that it is a shared unit as the way it is listed right now is misleading and some renters may find this to be a safety concern. Also, the house rules on the listing and the rental agreement don’t mention a 10pm curfew.

The house was clean and well-kept. We had a couple issues, the oven would not get hotter than 325 degrees so it was difficult to cook in it. Also, the master bed seemed to be broke. When 2 people are lying in the bed, you both sink to the middle. It was very uncomfortable. Other than that, we had a nice stay.

Very nice house--clean and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Welcoming decor. Comfortable beds. Owners communicated clearly and promptly. Check in process was seamless. FYI- the listing clearly states there is a 2nd rental property on site (they show pictures of a 2nd stand alone building on the property), but upon payment the emails say we rented the upstairs property. That's when we learned there was a basement rental as part the house. People stayed in the basement while we were there, but did not bother us at all. There was a connecting door between the living room and the basement. It was locked from our side, but I was uncomfortable since I didn't know if it was locked from the other side (owner promptly confirmed it was). One morning, we were talking on the deck and the basement renters walked under the deck to get to the basement. So, great house--clean, comfortable, and welcoming--but not as private as I thought upon initial renting of a house. Now that I understand this, I'd rent the house again since we liked it a lot, but I do wish the listing was more clear about where the 2nd onsite rental property was located.

Nice experience and good location with rams head dockside nearby for a good meal out. If I had a boat it would have been perfect

I was pleased to find this new listing on VRBO for the charming Glen Burnie house. The property was recently refreshed and looked very comfortable. The view of Marley creek was a big bonus especially since the leaves were turning colors!
On the second floor, the primary bedroom is quite large and has a slider door overlooking the yard and the creek. The upstairs bathroom is small but adequate. The second bedroom is the smaller one upstairs.
On the first floor, there is another bedroom and a large bathroom with a big bathtub and laundry area. The living area is quite comfortable, and the large TV was great for our down time.
The separate basement apartment was in use during our stay and did not impact our experience at all.
Communication with our host was fantastic! Arrival went smoothly using the programmed door code. Joe responded quickly to our questions and checked back to ensure all was well. I will want to stay again when I am in the area next.
