The room, location and vibe!
We will get a bigger room next time although room was good!
3.5
Quirky little place to stay.Overall clean, the people we were sharing communal areas weren't necessarily too careful about keeping these clean and tidy, but that is not the host's fault. Clear check-in instructions, great communication (eg.regarding air con). Good location overall, close to the Metro and bus stops. Close to a nice supermarket, too.
Lights were a bit too dim in the foyer, which we used to have our dinner, it would do with a little more brightness. Our room was a bit dark too,I get it's the whole vibe of the place, but it made me feel a bit disconnected from the outside world

Amazing room and place. 10/10 would stay again.
5.0
The local, the place, and overall everything. I prefer staying in places that feel more like personal rooms than cookie-cutter hotels and drab furnishings. Great spot close to loads of amenities and easy to navigate around even if you don't know the area. More of a self-serving BnB... . and already booked another stay.
Wish the towels were bigger and a little better quality.. Due to a glitch in the system of Booking.com, I was bumped. The Rosemary did in fact rectify the situation and were very understanding of my situation, I plan to stay here as my hub when I am locale to the area. Overall it's a great place and has top marks all around.

Room was nice, bathroom was very clean. We felt safe at the place and it's a great option when you're on a budget. There was water, free coffee and other things as toothbrushes and that stuff in case you forget yours.

Great location and value!

I LOVE everything about the spot & I took A TON OF PICTURES because well first of all I'm going to mix media artist but second of all... like you gotta take pictures of this place... There's so much to look at that I know I'm going to forget so many things. The overall space is a tribute to every one that's come through there all the years the history everything the space exudes A vibe that's genuine.
I think it's time to tune up the lock on the door of the Tower suite. The one that takes so much back and forth that it requires directions to the elaborated on. Which they do by the way describe very accurately how to sort of work the door lock but my thinking is how minor would be just fix the door lock.
4.5
Great location, unique charm, easy check-in process
I think the room would benefit from a better reading lamp. The atmospheric lighting, while nice for taking a bath, is rather difficult to use for reading. The suite didn't include shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, so I had to go downstairs to find them in the shared shower. The windows didn't close properly, so the noise of the adjacent traffic was unavoidable while sleeping.
2.5
The safety and the locks and knobs on the doors.

It was clean and the check in process was seamless
The walls are too thin

Very clean. Nice beds. Easy check-in.
No obvious sign outside, somewhat hard to find.

The era styled furniture was unique and comfortable, especially the bed.
Work like to learn more about longer stay options.
Lack refrigeration units. This is not a deal breaker. Great place to stay, centrally located

Everything, most beautiful decor and the most comfortable bed ever! I so loved it I added 3 more nights. Its a work of art, very peaceful, and lots of amazing free coffees in reception area.
Parking was actually ok but just need to watch out on Friday mornings and move your car. But each day, I found a spot within ten minutes.

Great location for checking out Los Feliz and Silver Lake strip! It is a bit creepy and I was a little weary as a solo traveller. I didn't see any other guests but heard at least one. Bed was super comfy.
The walls were thin but I don't mind sleeping with ear plugs. I had a window that had traffic noise, but that was better than no window. I would have felt better/safer if there was an employee present but obviously everything went smoothly.

The place was clean and well kept (shared bathroom and communal area). The only staff I met was the cleaner and although she didn't speak English and my Spanish is poor, she was lovely and as helpful as she could be when a couple of Chinese guests needed to leave their bags prior to the check-in time.
The location was great - walking distance to nice shops / bars / restaurants in both Los Feliz & Silverlake, which was great as I did not have a car. It also had a big supermarket 5min away. A main subway station and a lot of bus stops nearby - as well as the free shuttle to the Griffith Observatory, which is walkable to if you're fit enough.
My room was ok and clean - the towels were good quality.
There's a little fridge by the entrance where you can leave your food and a coffee machine with pods and it dispenses water too. Nothing to boil water.
There's also a little basket with things like toothbrushes and toothpastes if you need and there's shower gel / shampoo etc... in the bathrooms.
You get what you pay for and around $125 doesn't get you very far.
The communal areas are really really dark for some reason - maybe to hide imperfections? The place doesn't have any natural lights (thankfully my room had 2 small windows), but they could have brighter lights. Whatever 'look' they're going for doesn['t work. It made me feel quite claustrophobic. There's a first door that opens with a code and you then have another door that requires your key to open. That little entrance hall is so dark you can't even see the lock. The communal area has a fake bar and reception counter, but there's no staff and the poor Chinese guests who'd arrived a bit early had no luck in contacting anyone at the venue as they wouldn't pick up the phone.
The walls are pretty thin too - although my neighbours were pretty quiet luckily.

Amazing interior, music, furniture and vibe. Very clean bathrooms, great accommodations with soaps and towels. The atmosphere is one of a kind and felt like entering a whole new universe.
Absolutely zero parking. You basically need to spend $15 a day and park down the street. No TV and the bar exists just for show. Also paper thin walls.

Nothing
it is the creepiest hotel I’ve ever been in. The bates motel and hotel in the shining are far more welcoming. There’s no parking. Its weird. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to stay here.
4.0
The decoration, easy parking on the street, quiet neigborhood, clean and good price considering its location.
Paper thin walls, we could hear everything from the other clients beside our room even tho they were quiet. The mattress too was not super comfortable.

very clean, great fridge and coffee machine with a water machine too. easy check in process. ok location about 5-10 min walk to the closest metro
its extremely dark and so difficult to see anything. there is no working with the customer for even a little bit of later check out whatsoever.
its super noisy and the walls are paper thin so ear plugs are a necessity.

There wasn't a breakfast.
The first night the people above us were very loud. They kept us up from 2:30-5:30 AM. I think they were having a party. Music was blaring and they were moving furniture around. This isn't a reflection of the property though. They did provide earplugs that came in handy.

Fantastic interior! Very cosy. Absolutely clean!
The walls are a bit thin ;-)

I felt safe in the neighborhood.
The cleaning staff were very helpful and friendly.
My messages/questions were answered in a timely manner
The coffee maker only worked if unplugged and then plugged back in for a one-time use. Then repeat.

We loved the decor of our room; the bed was super comfy and the bathroom right across the hall. The whole place was kitted out really well, and was a quirky and interesting hotel to stay in during our visit to LA. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.
The only thing I would change would be to ensure the bedroom lighting could be fully dark at night.
2.5
paper thin walls - you can hear every single word from the people in the rooms next door. also not enough bathrooms/showers - tough to get some time in the bathroom in the mornings
5.0
good vibes, clean, easy to get into. good location
could have had better bedding
5.0
the convenient location
I had no problems with the property
3.0
affordable and good location!
very dark lighting, no clear fire exit signs, thin walls, locks on the door could have been more secure/stronger, tiny bath towels provided (and no larger ones bought when asked for more)
3.5
Location is good considering the price, it’s close to hollywood and central LA. Love the decorations and it’s actually my favourite part. Not to mention the staff are friendly and they clean the place daily.
The walls are extremely thin. I can definitely hear others when they are playing music and can also hear noises from outside. As mich as I loved staying there, others aren’t prone to following rules as they would play loud music past midnight which can disrupt your sleep.

wit was awesome interior … feeling like entered into old Hollywood movie
overall everything was awesome

I loved everything about my stay here. It was relatively quiet (there was a party nearby on Friday that was loud, but quieted down a little after midnight). I loved how close I was to public transportation (several bus stops nearby/8-10 minute walk to Red Line at Sunset/Vermont). Great experience, overall!
It was very dark in the room, but I wasn't in there much, so whatever. This place ruled.
