About this house rental
The View & Vine Bungalow is a luxurious two bedroom, two bathroom home in the heart of Oregon's Wine Country in downtown Newberg. Completely remodeled with upscale finishes and fixtures, the bungalow is light-filled, cozy, and fresh while still retaining much of the 1920's Craftsman charm.
Enjoy a best-of-all worlds location: drive 10-20 mins to the region's best wineries, walk 2-3 blocks to downtown tasting rooms and restaurants, and return to the bungalow for a peaceful night's sleep.
An eclectic, upscale bohemian style influenced the design, with locally-found vintage items mixing with new designer pieces and comfortable, cozy furnishings. Two private master bedrooms with king beds and en-suite baths make it a great fit for two couples travelling together, a small family, or a luxurious girls trip in wine country.
Entry into the bungalow is from the back of the home; self check-in is provided via keypad. The driveway has space for two cars, and the open carport covers the entry and optionally provides coverage for outside dining and lounging. As you enter, you’ll walk up a few stairs into a cozy dining nook for four that overlooks Rotary Park and the Chehalem Cultural Center. Also near the entry are a full-size washer and dryer, with free & clear detergent, an iron and ironing board.
The kitchen has been beautifully and thoughtfully fitted with custom cabinetry, and high-end appliances, including a 5-burner gas range, french door refrigerator with filtered water and ice, dishwasher, toaster oven and microwave.
The living room is spacious and flooded with natural light from huge picture windows. The adjacent game room, which can also be used as a workspace or larger dining area, seats four in comfy velvet arm chairs at an antique french table.
There are two bedrooms, one downstairs and one up; both have king beds with amazingly comfortable medium-firm gel memory foam mattresses, high quality sheets, plush duvets and plenty of pillows of varying firmness. Nightstands, lamps and outlets are easily accessible at each side of the bed. Closets with no-slip hangers, drawer/cubby space and luggage racks in each make packing and unpacking a breeze.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom, with natural light, beautifully tiled showers, quartz-topped custom vanities, large mirrors and designer fixtures. Ultra-fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, cotton swabs and an upscale real-deal hair dryer are all there ready for you to enjoy.
Outside, the beautifully landscaped back garden has a Weber natural gas grill, dining area that seats four, and an herb garden you are welcome to make use of. Parking for two cars in the adjacent driveway is available. The Bungalow's back yard connects with the View + Vine Cottage next door, which is available for rent together or separately, creating the potential for 3 bedrooms and 3 baths between the two homes and a joined outdoor space to host your group.
You'll have full and private access to the Bungalow, which is a stand-alone home. You'll also have full access to the Bungalow's side of the back yard, which connects to but is divided from the Cottage's yard next door.
We have no doubt The Vine & View Cottage will be the perfect spot for you to enjoy everything Oregon's wine country and the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

This rental was one of the top VRBO properties at which we’ve stayed. The house was updated beautifully, and all amenities were available. We didn’t realize there was also a washer and dryer, which was great to find. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms were beautifully done and the kitchen appliances were all new and fit the space well. The neighbor is nice and very quiet. Would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.

This was our second stay at Vine and View Bungalow. Everything is spotless and welcoming including a lovely bottle of wine . The beds are comfortable with ample blankets. The updated kitchen has supplies needed to prepare meals while staying there. The location can’t be beat walking to Fox and downtown Newberg..

My husband and I met up with my sister and her husband to do some Willamette Valley wine tasting and we were lucky to find this charming cottage in Newberg! It is perfectly designed for 2 couples with two bedrooms and two full baths. The kitchen was appointed better than any place I have stayed, with plenty of dishes, pans, utensils, etc. The house itself is just adorable and very well constructed.
The location is great too, right across the street from a playground and big community center and library. There is an awesome coffe shop/bookstore within 3 or 4 blocks and it’s two short blocks off a main thoroughfare. There is a covered carport that we really appreciated having in the heat! The small backyard area has a table and chairs and was a great place to enjoy our evening meals and to sit and read during the day. There’s a nice gas grill that worked well for steaks on our first evening.
The management was so helpful and easy to work with! They were quick to answer the phone and assist with questions we had. I will definitely work with trip again and I hope to make it back to stay in this Newberg property!!!

We've stayed in Newberg several times now, and this is by far our favorite property. The neighborhood is small town perfect...we were lucky enough to enjoy the food trucks and live music right across the street on Tuesday and the farmer's market in downtown on Wednesday evening. The house is cozy and comfy and just what we needed. Property manager was very prompt to return our texts and easy to work with. We are sad to go, but will definitely make a return visit.

One of, if not the best, rental we have stayed in! Super clean, packed with amenities, comfy beds and a perfect location to walk to downtown area!

Easy check in with lock box. The house is so cute, park across the street only added to the charm and neighborhood feel. Beds were so comfy. Showers updated and clean. Went for a trip to Oregon Wine Country and the location didn't disappoint, easy drive to all the tastings. Town was charming with nice restaurants and shops. I could move right in if we didn't live in Ohio.

This place is a gem! Clean, very cute, and functional. My children absolutely loved this place. The upstairs bedroom is a fun little hideaway for naps and the breakfast nook was our favorite spot for having snacks. Not to mention, there is an awesome park across the street! Our family was sad to leave. We hope to be back soon!

We are from Newberg so the location of the home is perfectly located. The house was clean amd well stocked. Everything was comfortable and pleasant.

Lovely well-kept & updated older house in pleasant, peaceful neighbourhood excellently located 2 blocks from centre of town for access to cafes, restaurants, gas, with grocery stores a short car ride away.
With 2 bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom , very comfortable king size bed & large showerstall, it's ideal for 2 couples giving each their "privacy". Although they call the house a "bungalow", there is a stairway 2 dozen steps upstairs to the 2nd bedroom
The kitchen is large and comes with a big gas powered stove which may take you a few minutes to get used to operate if you have an electric stove at home. Very well equipped with glasses, plates etc which we appreciated as we cooked most of our breakfasts & dinners there and then made up picnic lunches for day trips.
The local managers, I-Trips, are very responsive to any problems/concerns you have eg. we had a well used & very small frying pan and when we complained, they delivered a new set of 3 different sized frying pans to us before the day was over!
A couple of practical items: the house is on a corner lot with the address on Sheridan St but the driveway access by car around the corner off of School St if you are parking your car. You enter the house via a door at the rear of the house that goes through the kitchen; entrance is not via a key but but by a keypad with an access number that will be provided to you online several days before you arrive

The Vine and View Bungalow was perfect for our family. The home is impeccably clean and cozy. The house has been thoughtfully decorated, and the owners didn’t miss a beat on anything that we needed. The neighborhood is really cute, and the home is across from a playground (which the kiddos loved). We have family in Newberg, and will definitely be staying here again!

This cottage was PERFECT! Beautiful, well appointed, and, bar none, the CLEANEST rental I have ever visited. A lovely kitchen alcove for coffee, but also a dining table for our card playing. The living area was comfortable, stylish, and inviting. The cottage/bungalow was perfect for two couples—each had our own charming bathroom and amazing shower. Across the street and cultural center. All walking distance from the quaint downtown with dining, ice cream, pubs, post office, and boutiques shops.
Highly recommend this one!

This was our home-away-from-home. It was merely minutes to walk downtown Newberg where there are many wonderful wine tasting rooms, great places to eat, some good shopping at the clothing, book, variety and antique stores, etc. The neighborhood was so quiet. There was superior communication with iTrip. We will return.

First VRBO. We are very impressed with this property and the management and really enjoyed our time spent there. The home was super clean and just what we were looking for. Great neighborhood, near to everything we needed. Management was quick with responses to questions we had and checked in with us to ensure things were going well. I would highly recommend.

Great property for 2 or 4 people. Clean property upon our arrival. Both bedrooms have king size beds and good sized closets to unpack. Entire property is nicely updated. Nice modern appliances in the kitchen. Excellent sized bathrooms and showers. Just a couple of blocks from downtown Newberg and walking distance to several nice restaurants. Good central location for many wineries. Enjoyed our stay!

We spent the weekend in Newberg while visiting our son who attends George Fox. The house was perfect and gave us the opportunity to spend time at "home" instead of in a hotel or dorm. I loved the fact that there were two KING beds, while most houses only have one. The house was up to date, clean and had everything we needed to relax. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. My kids LOVED the beds - so comfortable. Although we never needed to reach out to the management, we knew they were there and available if needed. We will be back!

Our latest stay with ITrip was yet another fantastic experience. It has become our favorite home away from home whenever we visit our daughter at college. This home offers an exceptionally comfortable stay with top-notch beds and linens. The kitchen is fully equipped, leaving nothing to be desired. We truly enjoy the convenience of walking to the wonderful restaurants and coffee shops in town.
One thing that never fails to impress us is the impeccable condition of the house. It's always spotless and welcoming. The property manager consistently delivers outstanding customer service, ensuring our stay is nothing short of delightful.
Thank you for continually making our visits so enjoyable. ITrip has truly become an integral part of our college visits, and we can't wait to return for our next stay.

I recently stayed in a spotlessly clean vacation home rental in Newberg, and it was a fantastic experience. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the fully equipped kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. The location was perfect, with restaurants within walking distance.
What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service. The property manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, and the cleanliness of the home was impeccable. I also want to mention that we always use I Trip when visiting our college student daughter, and once again, you exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making our stay in Newberg so enjoyable!

The property is in a good location 1 block off the main streets in Newberg. It is an older home that has been very nicely renovated including high end appliances. It was very clean, well stocked and comfortably furnished. There was nice outdoor seating and a barbecue pit was available. The beds were very comfortable as well. The host communicated with us via text frequently enough, but no too much. I would definitely stay there again should I find myself in the area.

Very nice and comfortable home. It was our first time to wine country and the centralized location worked out great. I would stay here again because of the comfort and location, but we will likely try to find a place in the hills or on one of the rivers for a better view. The scenery during our travels was unbelievable. Thanks for the hospitality. Very nice home.

What can I say? This place was absolutely awesome. Extremely clean and well appointed. It’s an old house that has been renovated to accommodate two couples. Plenty of room and privacy. Love the fact that each BR has a king bed and its own bathroom and on separate floors. Kitchen is well equipped if needed. Great location too. All in all, a great place and we would definitely stay again.

We loved stayed here! Exceptionally clean, cozy and comfortable. We were dropping off our daughter at George Fox University and the house sits just a couple blocks away. It was easy to go to campus and walk back to the house. Neighborhood is quiet and safe, located across from a playground so families are around.
Everything is thought of in the home. Fresh towels, A/C or heat, a fully stocked kitchen, laundry on site, private carport. An entry code rather than a key made entering and exiting easy. Even the bathrooms have toiletries in cute bottles, and although it’s a bungalow, it felt like a hotel!
We will be back!! Thank you for helping make the transition dropping off our college kid easier with a nice home to hang out and rest in.

This house was “ok” it looked fully remodeled in the pics. Not the case, however,
My negative review is based on the property management company more so then this particular house. I come to the area often for work, so after renting this house- I rented another house from this company that had numerous issues. The biggest one being bed bugs, I asked the company to move us to another home- they refused. I ended up checking out several days early and asked to be credited at least for the days I didn’t stay, they refused stating they checked and the home did not in fact have bed bugs-I went to urgent care, my bites were confirmed as bed bugs. So disgusting. I am beyond disappointed with the way the situation was handled and will not be renting from them ever again

If you’re looking for convenience to downtown Newberg, this is your place. The property is only blocks from downtown shops and restaurants. It is across the street from a playground, the Cultural Center and the library.
It is clean and orderly with all you need for a pleasant stay. The management team is very responsive and worked with us on a day to day basis as we needed to extend our stay due to a family emergency.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were in town for my son's college graduation and could not have asked for a nicer home to stay in. Every detail was taken care of. The beds were incredibly comfortable. All of the finishes/updates in the home are high end and felt brand new. The property was extremely clean. We could walk to restaurants and coffee shops easily. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

So nice to have the entrance at the car park out of the elements. Then, on the landing, a welcome table set with local wine. If you are two couples, each bedroom is private with en suite. The kitchen has everything you need for an extended stay and the location quite and centrally located. Perfect.

Wow. This was a very last minute booking for a short girls' trip. I was so surprised by how reasonable the price was for what looked like an immaculate rental. You usually get what you pay for, but in this case you get SO much more. This appears to be a recent renovation of a bungalow and it is absolutely immaculate--no detail was overlooked. The lighting, tile, paint...all so fresh and tasteful and the BEDS....quite possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in (including my own!). We walked the 1 block into town on night 1 and had a fabulous dinner at Old Town Bar and Grill. We then walked to Tavern for another glass of wine. A perfect evening! The next day we drove 20 minutes and strolled McMinnville. Skipped the wineries this time, but had a lovely dinner at Jory at The Allison night 2. The rental is situated across from the library and a sweet little playground. It's idyllic. Don't sleep on this one!
