About this house rental

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. This beautiful countryside home is located in Dunboyne, Co. Meath right outside Dublin City (25mins) and only 20 minutes from Dublin Airport, 5 mins drive from train station.

This home is well equipped with 5G wifi, two cosy indoor fireplaces, AGA cooker, pool table, BBQ with outdoor dining area and a 4 person Canadian Spa Hot tub.

Totally safe for family stays as the home is located on a quiet country road, behind electronic gates!

About The Home:

-There are 4 bedrooms; bedroom 1 & 2 have king size beds and an ensuite. Bedroom 3 has a double sized bed, while bedroom 4 has a single bed - both bedrooms boast large wardrobes and spacious desks. All bedrooms are located right beside a large upstairs bathroom with a beautiful bath.

-We strive to make our guests feel as comfortable and welcome as possible, we allow dogs and have a large run with a comfortable kennel for your furry friends. Our house has an inviting and relaxing sense and really does feel special to stay in. Be sure to check out our guidebook for all information on public transport and sightseeing!

About the House:

Most recently we have built an outdoor hot tub area that is covered by a beautiful wooden pergola and floored with large patio slabs. There is steps leading through the trees to reach the hot tub which gives a really unique feeling before you immerse yourself in the soothing warmth of the bubbling hot tub while surrounded by the crisp, fresh air of the Irish outdoors. Whether you're stargazing under the clear night sky or enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature, our outdoor spa hot tub provides the perfect oasis for a rejuvenating getaway. Unwind, recharge, and embrace the serenity of your private retreat just outside the heart of Irelands capital city.

Guests commented on how elegent the stonework on the house looks and the private the property feels. The countryside sense of birds in the trees and horses in the adjacent fields but yet you are only 20 minutes to the airport and 25 minutes to Dublin city centre. Many golfers love how close the property is to many of Irelands best golf courses such as Carton House, The K club, Powerscourt, Castleknock golf course, Westmanstown, Blackbush, Portmarknock and many more.

Everyone loved the closeness to many of Irelands great attractions such as the Hill of Tara, Newgrange, Emerald Park, The Phoenix Park which is home to Dublin zoo, along with the nearby walkways and beautiful scenery as well as the local village of Dunboyne. Others have really enjoyed our sitting room with the pool table that has an old speaker system with many classic CD's to be played. The large front and back garden make it ideal to sit outside and enjoy a BBQ with family or friends!

We were four generations of family ages 4 to 85. This was a delightful experience with a yard for the kids and room to spread out. Close to amenities it was a perfect choice for us!

The home was just as listed. The taxi ride to Dublin is 50-60 Euros. The town nearby has choices for dining and supermarkets. The hosts, Eoghan and his father were extremely welcoming and helpful and went out of their way to assure that our needs were accomodated.

My family and I stayed at this property in July 2024. It's a beautiful home with a layout that gave us lots of room to spread out and a couple of options for spending time together - including the hot tub! The host was exceptionally responsive to questions before, during, and after our stay. The instructions provided for accessing the house and operating the house systems were clear and easy to find. A terrific small AVOCA market is within a 5-10 minute walk. We were concerned about being on the outskirts of Dublin vs. in the city, but it worked very well for us. Traffic is a big issue in Dublin, and we loved being in a lovely neighborhood setting with easy access to the city.

Nothing but great things to say about our stay. Eoghan was a fantastic host who was very thorough with our pre check in directions and incredibly responsive to the few questions we had. Very highly recommend this beautiful home. No need to look any further. We will be back.

It was a beautiful home, the neighbor dogs were incredibly sweet. We enjoyed the pool table and the old stove. But It wasn’t easy to get anywhere with our large group,Ubers didn’t want to take the fare.There was no walking on the narrow road. When we did go to the closest town on a Monday, everything was closed for dinner except a pizza place and Brady’s (which we loved)for drinks. Just be prepared to spend a lot on taxi service or just rent a car. We all loved the property and the dogs became our best friends lol.

We had a fantastic time staying in this property for a 35th birthday event! Sunny weekend, brilliant pool table, hot tub and facilities as well as being a beautiful clean and spacious home. Would definitely return!

There were 6 adults from Canada and stayed at Eoghans beautiful home in May 2024. The check in and contact with the owner was first class. The location of this property suited our needs and we had a wonderful stay. There were 2 beautiful dogs who welcomed us to our vacation home and were around the property perimeter but were extremely friendly, definitely a huge plus as we are all dog lovers. We would highly recommend this property and host and will definitely return in the future. Aiden PEI Canada

Loved our stay at Eoghan's place just outside Dublin. The location is great, just outside Dublin, being close enough to easily get into the city, or out into the countryside. The house and host are both wonderful, and we will definitely be looking into staying here again next time in Ireland. And we loved the loved Aga stove in the kitchen to warm up to and cook with.

We couldn’t have enjoyed our time in Ireland more while staying at this beautiful Irish style home. It is cozy and has the right ammenities for a small group. It was just only 3 of us so there was enough space. Highly recommended.

Wonderful location about 20 minutes to Dublin. Very peaceful and close to an Avoca store and food market. Eoghan was very responsive. Enjoyed the dogs who visited once in a while. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Eoghan

Our family of adult boys enjoyed our stay at this lovely home conveniently 20 minutes outside Dublin and close to Duboyne a cute town with lots of pubs, cafes, and restaurants. The home was clean and well stocked, Our host was super helpful and communicated well the whole trip. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely time staying in this house. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of space and enjoyed relaxing. The house is in a great location to be able to go anywhere around Dublin. Nice quiet neighborhood and easy to get to grocery stores and restaurants. Bedrooms were wonderful. My kids loved the big tub. Thank you!

The home was stocked with everything we could want. There was a country charm to the property and it was set up very comfortably for a family with a piano, pool table in the formal livingroom, family room with beautiful bay windows and a large farm style kitchen. The owners were very responsive and made sure our stay was excellent.
