About this house rental
A grand & very spacious 3 floor period property renovated with modern features and a perfect space for families or groups in a desirable neighbourhood of Dublin. The Georgian period house was renovated by architects and offers 4 very large bedrooms over 3 floors along with a very big kitchen and vast communal living areas. There are 3 good modern bathrooms and a small back garden. Beautiful tranquil area with local amenities & easy travel routes to central Dublin and sites of interest.
This beautiful late Georgian Town House spreads over several floors and has been lovingly renovated by architects to update the beautiful period detail with modern facilities. The three levels of the house feature 4 very large double bedrooms, two of which feature king size and super-king size beds along with wardrobes and lots of space. Period features including beautiful Georgian windows and indoor fireplaces have been incorporated into the renovation and give the home great charm and unique style. Windows throughout the house give oodles of light and offer beautiful views over the charming tree-filled local area and the country beyond.
The house offers access to a small mature back garden space offering much needed private outdoor space perfect for catching a bit of sun. There is an outside glasstop table and 6 comfortable chairs perfect for al fresco dining! This is accessible through the kitchen and also by a charming spiral staircase leading to a balcony from one of the lower level bedrooms.
Bedrooms are all of a very similar good size and spread over the multiple floors of the house, with great views and period features. The master bedroom at the top features a sumptuous family sized bathroom featuring views over the green countryside surrounding Dublin.
With large living space on the lower two floors the house offers superb communal space for families or groups of friends who want to stay in Dublin and enjoy time together. The very big kitchen gives space for home cooking and you have the choice of a large informal dining space on the ground floor, or a more formal dining area with period dining table on the upper 1st floor.
The living room has comfortable seating for a big group and a large flatscreen TV with a connected Netflix account available for your use.
Aside from the en suite with bath and views, the house features 2 other generous modern bathrooms with powerful electric showers - one one the lower ground level and the other at the very top of the house.
Comfortably accommodating up to 8 across the 4 large rooms, an extra pullout single bed can be setup for 1 extra guest in one of the larger bedrooms by request (9 guests total). We also have a travel cot and high chair that can be setup by request for families.
Other things to note
We have 2 'Ring' doorbell devices with cameras covering the front of the building from the door looking outside. These have been installed for your security and safety.

We had a magical Christmas at this lovely home. Everything was excellent - warm & luxurious. Excellent location to explore Rathgar and Terrenure. Herzog playground was a hit! Hosts were very accommodating. We hope to stay again on our next trip to Ireland

This property was in a good location and had a nice kitchen. The bathrooms were clean. However it needs some work. The hallways need painting, multiple lampshades were broken, curtains were pulled off the hooks in the master bedroom, baseboards in the living room hadn't been dusted in a long time, lighting was poor in one of the bedrooms. The house has a lot of potential and just needs some simple improvements.

There were some quirks with the electricity, but Austin was very accommodating about explaining them and they were resolved quickly. He was quite helpful and responsive in general. The house itself is glorious: lovely back yard, convenient location, quiet neighborhood, and wonderful kitchen. We were able to make a fantastic dinner with the cutlery and dishes and other tools available. The master bath is incredible. Loved it.

Perfect home in Dublin, for a large group/family!
Seven of us stayed in this charming home, and all of us absolutely loved it! Spacious, clean, well appointed, and wonderfully decorated, it was a perfect base camp for our 10 day Irish adventure. A quick walk down the street, gets you to several bus lines that head directly (15-20 mins) into downtown Dublin (Dame Ave./Temple Bar). There were also ample local options for pubs, restaurants, grocery, etc. We did some driving, and access to M50 (Dublin highway ring) was very simple and quick. It was so nice to stay in a home that felt like "home" after a long day sightseeing. Austin was a perfect host; responsive, friendly, and accommodating. We would recommend this home/host to any family group looking for a great home in a great area!

Perfect home and place to gather
This home is gorgeous. The owner and property manager do an excellent job of welcoming the guests by providing multiple keys, a clipboard of information and recommendations, a basket of goodies and treats as well as a full bowl of fruits for our family to enjoy during the stay.
Each room was clean and uniquely decorated, with two very spacious rooms if you need a baby’s cot or rollaway bed.
The showers all had hot water and we felt so comfortable and luxurious.
The host was very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you for being so kind and welcoming!

Great Spot for Groups
We stayed at this property with a group of 8 for a family trip. We loved having the space for everyone to sleep comfortably and still be together. Austin is an amazing host and the communication was excellent. The house is well appointed and many amenities were provided. We choose to mainly use taxis to get around but it was close to buses as well. Close to food and grocery stores. It is a very safe a walkable area just outside of the hustle and bustle.

We stayed here for a family holiday. The house is large and comfortable and in a handy location. It is less than five mins to buses into town and also a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Rathgar. I’d particularly recommend Revolution pizza and Bijou bistro although booking for both recommended! We would hope to stay here again as we visit family in Dublin quite often. Host was responsive and helpful too when we had any questions.

Great place for big group!
My family and I stayed here for a week and it was the perfect size and location (my sister lives in Rathmines). It was nice to have separate levels so people could have alone time but it was also perfect for having meals together as the kitchen/dining room was very spacious. It is also close to a number of bus routes that go directly downtown so fairly easy to get around. Also, Austin was very responsive to all my questions and gave lots of great tips :) If our family goes to Dublin again we will definitely stay here!

We were very happy at this property! The location can't be beat. We walked to the city centre, stopped for lunch along the way. Also very convenient to walk to several villages. The house was very spacious, allowing our family of four to spread out. It was well appointed for cooking meals and the dishes and glasses were lovely. We felt very at home. Thank you! Hope to be back some day.
