Hotel was nice, no parking was not.

The communication and staff were excellent. Bed, bathroom, shower as well.

No parking made it very inconvenient for seeing what we had planned. We had to change dinner plans as too much walking was impossible for us.

Great location with a short walk to everything in Portsmouth. Well appointed rooms that are very comfortable and clean. Very professional and friendly staff.

A acomodação é uma graça. Aconchegante e bem localizada. Excelente para quem está de passagem pela cidade. A decoração é linda e de muito bom gosto.

Encontrei muitos cabelos no banheiro e roupa de cama. Senti falta de elevador também, mas por ser um prédio histórico talvez não possam se aprimorar nesse sentido.

Made for a memorable Valentine’s Day getaway!

Absolutely beautiful aesthetic! So clean and accommodating. Staff was friendly and kind. The connecting restaurant was absolutely AMAZING. A truly wonderful experience.

The sound unfortunately, our absolutely beautiful room was right over the dumpsters so it was very loud at 5 am. It is downtown Portsmouth so it’s so be expected, even with that I’d stay again sound and all.

Great place to stay when you want to be down town Portsmouth NH

Clean, restaurant is phenomenal,location can’t be beat. Heated floors in the bathrooms was an exceptional touch

Small bedroom bed was a little uncomfortable or maybe it was the pillows.

Location, downtown Portsmouth. Within walking distance of everything.

Parking was 40 to be close to Hotel. That’s to much.

Beautiful new hotel in a beautiful old city.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and centrally located. The shared kitchen lobby area was a plus for coffee, tea, water and snacks. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and there were many special touches that made us feel more comfortable. Definitely a must stay.

The bed was a little soft for my husband but I loved it.

Hotel Thaxter is the place to stay in Portsmoith.

No breakfast but the snacks and coffee pods in the lobby were much appreciated. Truly excellent coffee with fridge stocked with every kind of milk/cream to go with. The location is perfect. Easy stroll into town but not in the crowded center.

Nothing! The room wasn't huge but the bed was super comfy, the linens and towels of excellent quality, the amenities lovely.

We’d go back but ask for a room facing the street

Very nice mix of inn and hotel , modern and vintage feel, somewhat sexy!

Our room faced the roof and other windows so we couldn’t keep the drapes open and it was dark in there.

Great place to stay and a great experience!

The hotel was in a great location. The decor was modern and simple. The staff were also amazing. Everything was clean anywhere you went and it was very simple to check in and check out as well.

Nice place to stay close to everything we wanted to do.

Nice place to stay. Was a super close walk to everything downtown which was nice.

Trying to find parking was a pain. They have valet parking but it’s pretty expensive at $40 dollars. The options for parking are pretty limited.

Hotel Thacker was a pleasant surprise and most wonderful property to sum up our New England trip!

This beautiful property is a little gem in Portsmouth. The welcome box of yummy chocolates, hotel decor, heated bathroom floor tiles, and the restaurant are just a few of the special touches. The service is truly exceptional. I'm planning on going back and staying longer.

It was a much needed and very enjoyable little getaway.

The location was great, the lobby was very nice along with the staff when there. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Outside of the beds being a little hard for me I can't give you anything.
