This quintessentially Californian retreat sits on seven acres of woodland, so the home feels nestled and tucked away – ideal for if you’re in need of a serene stay. The outdoor spaces at this home are a joy to explore – you’ll find a stunning lake with a floating screened gazebo, a stylish firepit setup for long nights under the stars, a large swimming pool with built-in hot tub, and plenty of seating areas offering amazing views of the surrounding mountains – ideal for sipping on sundowners while stargazing. Start each morning by enjoying a cup of freshly brewed coffee while sitting in the lounge chairs that face towards the lake, and spend the sunrise spotting wildlife and listening to the birds singing in the trees. As the sun and heat rises, cool off with a dip in your dreamy outdoor pool while staring up at the canopy of trees above. Fire up the grill for a tasty alfresco lunch and tuck in altogether on your outdoor dining table. Spend some time relaxing in the floating gazebo – the ideal place for yoga or meditation. Then, as the evening rolls in, gather in the hot tub and watch the stars come out. This home is based in Sonoma County, also known as California’s Wine Country, so you’ll find plenty of vineyards just a short drive away.
