The house is OK, but it is definitely dated. The kitchen has been updated in the downstairs bathroom as well. Furniture in one of the living room seems to be somewhat updated but awkward. The master bath looks like it’s from the 1960s. There is an old sunken Jacuzzi bathtub that takes up a lot of room and is a tripping hazard. The standup shower is small and the water will fluctuate from burning hot to freezing cold without notice. There really isn’t anywhere to put your stuff down in the master bath. Most of the house has furniture that is, very old. It felt like I was staying at my grandmother‘s Vacation property. The pool was nice. There are lights set up outside but no instructions on how to turn them on after a while. We figure it out. Communication with the property manager was poor. Asked questions through VRBO and received no response . Check was at 4 o’clock but the cleaners were still there until about 5:30. We had just drove seven hours So it would’ve been nice if the house was ready when it was supposed to have been. Also, the whole time we were there the house had a smell to it. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t good and it didn’t smell clean. When I return, I will definitely rent a different property.

Well equipped home in a very nice neighborhood. The pool was great! The kitchen was easy to work in. The house does need a working can opener and more towels and pool towels. There were no pool towels. We would stay there again.

This isn't your basic Cape summer cottage; it's a rather spacious 1970s suburban house with a very nice pool that happens to be conveniently on the Cape. We didn't bother to go to the beach when we basically had a private swim club in the back yard! All the amenities of home? Maybe more; it's a nice roomy house. The location is extremely car-dependent, though, in the Crosby Hills subdivision, though a bit under half a mile on foot from a nice town lake beach. Careful of the sunken tub in the master bath, though.

The property was a convenient location. It comfortably fit 6 people. Location was close to the beach.

We rented this house for a total of 4 of us! The house and neighborhood are perfect for a more private and home feel versus a hotel. The first night two of us girls sat outback on the deck (the wicker loveseat broke the second they sat on it as it was rotted, but I’m not sure the owners or whoever run the property knew of it as it’s recently listed as new and most likely came with the property!)
There are two living room areas and TVs which we didn’t even turn on because when we were at the house we were outback in the yard and pool, there’s a fire pit as well! The pool was perfectly clean which was nice, we jumped in practically as soon as we got there!
We were able to DoorDash some meals and avoid traffic or wasting time during our short trip, which always arrived within a half hr! We traveled to the Cape Cod Winery, Bad Martha’s Vineyard, and has a great dinner at Tomatoes. Our last day we went not too far and rented a pontoon from All Cape Boat Rentals and had an incredible day on the water and great drinks and food at Baxters, all highly recommended!
The house comes with a ton of games for rainy days or some late night fun too so another plus!
The only recommendations I would make for change would be to have more blankets & towels, and maybe a few pool floaties (we just bought some and brought them home so no big deal, but for families staying with children would be a nice touch!)
Thank you for a great stay!
