The property had great views and lovely staff
The bathrooms were a little run down and could be cleaner in the bures.
The beach at the property wasn’t that big but a short walk round the island had a great beach.
It’s maybe not the best place to go if you’re travelling alone as it wasn’t the busiest. This restricted trips that you could go on as there’s needed to be a number of people going.

I really enjoyed getting to know the staff and owners, they did a great job making me feel welcome. The resort is super laid back, with lots of hammocks and beaches to relax at. The food was amazing (especially for the price) and the chef, Paul, is a great guy to chat with. They even took to over to the next island to do a big hike, which was a highlight of my entire Fiji trip.
Parts of the resort are pretty run down, like the bathrooms, which need a deep clean and new fixtures. The main hall has loose wires hanging from the ceiling which, on first impression, makes the place look like it’s literally falling apart. Tidying up the grounds is another super easy thing to do that would make a big improvement.

Proximity to sea caves and snorkeling, privacy, easy access to seabus
Maintenance, look and appearance

The staff were the friendliest, they made the stay very special. :)
The food was delicious, home-made feel and plenty of it!
(compulsory meal plan of 95 FJD / person / day)
Lots of organised tours, also free activities, just ask at the reception for anything you need.
Plenty of hammocks catching the sea breeze.
Lovely lagoon to have a dip in the sea.
There is a fan in the room, no AC so make sure you’re ok with only a fan cooling you down.
Location is great, right at the sea front of Tavewa island (Tavewa seabus took around 4h each way, going to the island 210 FJD/ person, going back 170FJD/person)
The place is not brand new, it hasn’t been maintained for a little while but the staff and the delicious meals make up for it.
Some bures are going through renovations, which will bring this lovely place to its former glory.
General maintenance of the wooden walkway needs some maintenance (some slabs are loose).

Great staff, very welcoming and always did their utmost for us. Located on a beautiful island, where we enjoyed swimming, snorkelling, kayaking and chilling in the multiple hammocks with a book.
Heat was intense without air conditioning.

We enjoyed the food, the chefs do a wonderful and varied menu and will cater to requests like kids' meals and vegetarian but otherwise, it's a mandatory set meal plan each day, no buffet.
The island is beautiful, we didn't have too much luck snorkelling at the reef at the resort but we know of others who saw various different fish and marine life but they do offer daily trips out to different snorkelling spots around the Yasawa Islands (additional expense) and the Blue Lagoon trip was particularly special and the cave trip is a must do.
Staff were wonderful, very friendly, a few staff members offered to babysit our son for 1-2 hours so myself and husband could have a few hours to do something.
It's very much island lifestyle- beach time, relaxing in a hammock with a book, kayaking, walking etc so more of an adult location but wonderful if this is what you're looking for and on a budget.
The bungalows are quite basic, showers were cold water only (weren't made aware of this before arrival) and a slow drain, lumpy pillows but the bed was fine.
There were a few power outages but this is probably expected for island life.
It advertised as evening entertainment but there was only 1 evening out of 8 nights that provided this.
Not suitable for young families, advertised as indoor/outdoor playground, activities, board games which is one of the main reasons we chose the resort but there isn't anything for young children to do so it was difficult entertaining our toddler for more than a few days and we left 4 days early.
Yasawa islands are stunning, but it is very remote so be prepared for a long boat trip (choppy waters for a lot of it) 4.5 hours going and 6 hours on the return. We also didn't realise quite how organised we would need to be with the ferry transfers inline with our flights as the ferry leaves once a day at 8am from the mainland which we weren't aware of when we booked so take a look at your travel times during your booking process and you may need to stay overnight in Nadi like we did on the arrival and departure

After poor village stay on neighbouring island, Coralview Island Resort was a dream come true, big relief. Very friendly and most helpful staff. Lots of complimentary kayak paddles, stunning water colours across the reefs and lagoons.
Menu a little expensive for what is offered. Fish and chips cooked in old oil, spoilt taste, not much side salad, no mayonnaise, tartare or aioli....only tomato sauce in dishes. Very generous size pizza lasted several meals.

Das Essen war phänomenal. Selbst gefangener Fisch ( Bein Hand-Line Fishing ) würde abends vom Koch zubereitet.

The staff were amazing and friendly and made us feel like family with the care and hospitality. The food was generally really good for al meals. Great location with beautiful beach. Also good access to walks around the island and snorkelling points nearby.

The staff were some of the friendliest people and made my first 2 nights in the Yasawa islands very welcoming. It set a good tone for the rest of my 5 weeks in Fiji. Their dive master was brilliant at suggesting when and where to snorkel as the weather is not always 26°C and sunny. Superb hilltop view as advertised.
The shower could have been better lit and could have tiles on the walls. Minor really and completely outweighed by all the positives.

Food and stuff other than the manager
A lot of bugs and worms on bed and in room

The staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating, everyone was so genuinely kind to us. The lady at reception (the one with the glasses) was simply lovely, she remembered all our names and was even able to pronounce mine perfectly (that hasn't happened ever outside of my home country). Furthermore, we booked beds in a dorm because we were with 6 in total, the staff had removed the additional beds so we had the entire dorm for ourselves. We also visited the beautiful water cave at a nearby Island and the staff made sure we were the first to be there from all the other visiting tourists.

Nice meals and beautiful beaches. Nice snorkeling

Staff were amazing and we met heaps of awesome people.
Allowed to take your own alcohol.
The compulsory meal plan (85FJD/Person) was not worth it. The food was tasty however not worth that amount.
As at 30/06/2023 there is no hot water for showers at all.
Only alcoholic options were beer, wine and a few different spirits but only for 'shots'. We only get coffee at breakfast and afternoon tea and had no kettle in our room to make our own.

the staff were so lovely and so helpful with everything. they knew everyone’s names and were always so friendly. the snorkelling around the island was amazing and you could rent out the kayaks and snorkels for free.
because of covid they had to shut down for a while, and therefore there were no hot showers and the beds were uncomfortable. there was no food menu to choose from and there was a compulsory food package charge which was more expensive than the room. you had no choice on what you ate every day. I’m vegetarian so pretty much had the same thing every day for lunch and dinner. they are currently fixing a lot of the problems up with the huts which is great to see, but until that is done it’ll be tough to say we will go again. there was also only beer and wine to drink (we’re pretty sure)

Staff were lovely, super helpful, food was good!
Rooms were a little dirty, cold showers not ideal

Authentic homestay experience. Beautiful walk up to a sunset lookout. More than enough food for breakfast lunch and dinner, and delicious. Reef is growing outside, a work in progress. Wifi is great in the lobby. Staff are so kind. Kayaks and snorkels included in resort price.
Our room wasn't ideal, the bathroom door wouldn't close and the bunk bed was very shaky and not comfortable.

Coralview is the best option on the Yasawas if you’re on budget and don’t want to spend too much money…
Food is great, bures are clean and absolutely beach front!
Staff is very friendly and motivated, we loved all the tour we took during our stay.
Will be back one day!

We end up in Coralview after our homestead cancel on us 2 days before arrival. What a luck it was! They are just reopening the place after 2 years covid close down, so first day we were the only guest, then there was only one other couple. It got a really homely, family feeling with all the local people working to spruce the place up. The resort is not luxurious, but it has everything you need. Food is amazing, not the western, resorty, but home-made and delicious (we stayed in the other, more expensive resorts in the area, but I liked the food here the most). Nancy, the manager went above and beyond to care for us and bring the place to previous glory.
The offshore reef is just amazing, so many reef sharks, we even spotted beautiful sea snake.
Please note that they are still working on the place so be patient for electricity blackouts (happened few times during the night) and no internet (just go snorkelling). It's definitely the best value for money in the area, you have all the meals included in the room rate, no extra charges like in the other places.
They don't really have a beach, so if you're looking for a place to lounge on the sand that's not for you. They however have beautiful garden with hammocks and picture perfect beach is round the corner (15 minutes walk on low tide)
