Would like to see more food options as rice and chicken or chips is not what is excepted when you go on an island more seafood or local food options would be nice If spending so much at the resort

Food is pretty bad, pretty much get served kids meals as buffet no fruits or vegetables, got fired chicken as fries for lunch pretty much was shake and bake chicken, room was full of mosquitoes and flies. I decided to leave didn’t spend the 2nd night there and I was refused refund for the 2nd night stay

This place is fantastic! The resort run by people who put a lot of efforts to make your stay as good as it can be. Our family if 5, 4 adults and one kid stayed in bite 13 and we all loved it.
The food is included, it was great, variety of options including vegetarian/ vegan options. Snorkeling is great just off your room. If you stay in bure you are 10 steps from the ocean. They also run snorkeling tours twice a day.
Please do yourself a favor and not read old reviews about limited food options. The food was great: chicken, beef, lamb, fish, mashed potatoes, rice, chickpeas stew, steamed spinach, service just to name a few.
Even my super picky kid was able to find something to eat every day. One day they saw him not eating and made French fries for him so he won’t be hungry.
So, if you are looking for a great place to stay with people who treat you as a family and know your name this is the place for you.
This property is not 5 star resort. There are still clean hot showers, bathrooms, every day room/bure service. It’s a bit run down, but nothing can beat the location and snorkeling, so overall it is a fantastic stay for families.
We also did 2 2-tank dives there and our dive master Erik was very accommodating( thank you Erik)
Thank you so much Mumma and the entire team for your hospitality! Special thank you to Ivy for a great massage. We will be back. Vinaka!

Budget property, with some nice natural features, friendly staff and not much else. Has lost some of its charm and is looking tired. The food was average, the transfers were a rip off

My daughter and I spent 4 nights at the Resort.
Apart from the rough boat ride to the island every moment was magical. Comfortable, clean accommodation with spacious bathroom.
With a beautiful view, seeing the sunset every evening. In the mornings I timed every sunrise, sat on the beach and absorbing every moment. It was peaceful, quite and just a joy not to hear the outside world. The staff led by the Manager Mama were very welcoming and accommodating. They treated us like family and attended to all our queries. Food was not excellent but was okay. We absolutely loved the Lovo(Fijian traditional food) on the Saturday evening. I would highly recommend this place to those that needs a quite relaxing time.

STAY AWAY!!!!!
Internet is being used by 12 people outside of reception area, only place it works when it does.
Had asked for Tabasco sauce and make staffer confronted my family while we are in line(where’s our Tabasco he asked). My wife told him to call local police to find the Tabasco since it seems like every staffer was on the look out for that Tabasco bottle. Maybe put out a BOLO!!!
I made sure to return Tabasco in to reception desk when we checked out so we don’t get arrested or something.
Staff isn’t very friendly at all, waste of my money and got insulted over $3 bottle of Tabasco. They all look tired and not happy to be there or to help.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!

I liked everything about Beachcomber! The staff was extremely friendly and put together great daily events for all the guests to enjoy. This made it easy to have a great time with all the different visitors to the property (families, couple, backpackers, ect.). The accommodations were very clean and comfortable with amazing views. Just an an amazing group of people and place overall to stay.

Beautiful island, lovely friendly staff, great to have free snorkeling and fish feeding twice a day. Can also snorkel in a reef super close to the island. Food plentiful and different options at every meal. Evening entertainment was fun. Downsides were very run down rooms, dirty, water was turned off at random times so couldnt take a shower or flush the toilet. The toilet in my room leaked from the base which was disgusting. The electricity sometimes went off too. I would still go back, I had a super relaxing time but dont expect luxury and bring lots of bottled water as you only get free water with meals and no way would I drink the tap water. You get what you pay for and all inclusive at that price is fantastic.

The island is lovely and the resort staff are great. The food is average and really bland. Maybe mix it up with some simple hamburgers and chips etc. There is a really bad sewerage smell in the water and I am hoping grey water wasn’t being recycled in the showers. Also need to make sure to take bottled water as we got sick from the water in the dining ares when they ran out of drinking water. Other than that, the place is lovely but I felt 5 nights was too long when there are no Watersport activities available. A few nights stay is perfect there. The snorkelling is really good!

I really liked staying at beachcomber. You truly feel like family and there are so many choices of things to do. It’s a great place to enjoy the beauty of Fiji and relax.

Overall very underwhelming, average accommodation on the beach. Everything needs a tidy up .the food is a 2/10 on a good day. Swimming and snorkelling is good.
The boat ride to and from the island can be a rough ride and is well over priced.
Not much to do there outside relaxing and swimming. If you want to visit keep it to 2 days max.

It's a real paradise to relax in the sun and sea. We spent 8 magic days admiring the colours of the water, sunsets and the coral barriers with every kind of fishes. We felt at home with the staff that in short time became like a family. Each of them made any effort to satisfy with kindness and friendliness our needs and to supply any lack of the structure, which could be improved. We want to thank everybody, Raphael, Ani, Sallah, Anna, Rubi, Lesi (mama) and all the others, we will never forget and will meet soon!

The Beachcomber is a delightful, serene place—-away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the fancy, expensive resorts. It offers a variety of accommodation options…I liked the beach front bure. Staff is very friendly and delicious meals and coffee breaks are included in their price.

Beautiful spot to relax and enjoy in paradise. We are a family of 4 and spent 6 nights in a beach front Bure and we loved it. Beds were comfortable and a short walk to the main beach, bar and eating area. The food was good, you wont go hungry. We took some snacks but didn't need all of them. We also took 18 bottles of water which we used up over the 6 nights (Saved some money not buying on the island). Overall it's a real family atmosphere and we made friends with other families. Snorkeling is twice daily, but you can just relax on the beach and take a dip when you get to hot. The room is cleaned daily and everything was better than we expected.
Just being in the Beautiful clear water looking around is just amazing! We will be back. Staff are very friendly and like family. The only problem we had was the pickup service and boat to the island, I organised a pickup from our airbnb but the transport went to the wrong place even though they had the address, so we had to quickly find a taxi to the port.

Absolutely unique location, small island resort ( 10 min walk around), incredible friendly staff , greeting you as a family.
Special thanks to Mama, who is always making sure you have a great time there. Daily snorkelling trips ( are included, Collyn and his colleague ( another captain, sorry forgot his name) will bring you to a different reefs two times per day, great snorkelling spots!
Also special thanks to Mally who entertained us during stay and we had learned a lot about local history and people there!
Absolutely recommend it!

Lots of maintenance required. When taking people out for for short snorkel not taking basic safety ladder so ppl can get back in boat. If you get sick, limited support. If you have air conditioning do not make it cold. Make it less hot than outside but still warmish. Try not to shock body with temperatures. Do not drink water or brush teeth with water. Some A staff and some F staff. Gift shop way overpriced and poor quality products. Hostel stay is basic with putrid smell of sanitization. LOVED turtle conservation program. Take hat, lots of sunscreen. Staff who do massages need much more training and to show up to booked appointments. A number of ppl got mild diarrhoea whilst staying here. No luxury foods. It’s basic economy food. This island is set up for day trippers not ppl staying for 4 to 14 nights.

It’s a very old but natural island. Facilities were old and dirty with the flies everywhere. The staffs were very friendly. The food wasn’t tasty but filling up our stomachs with no issues. We really appreciated the free activities offered by the resort they were awesome! The views were incredibly spectacular, we all loved it! We enjoyed our stay here.

The island itself is beautiful with great corals for snorkeling from the beach and included boat trips. The staff were also super friendly and helpful.
The rooms are pretty dated and some deeper cleaning could do with being done on occasion (we cleaned out our own shower head to get a reasonable shower) but the overall resort is decent for the price. Be aware that all paths/bar/restaurant is sand so if that’s not your thing maybe think twice.
Overall a good place for a budget few days relaxing as long as you go in with the expectation of dated facilities and a desire to do little else but enjoy the beautiful waters.

Excellent value! Staff is extremely attentive, addressing every need of the guest with an extremely positive attitude. The included food is very good and plentiful. The included snorkeling trips twice each day are wonderful. There is a glass bottom boat for non-snorkelers. There was even afternoon tea each day at 3 pm. Bar is open all day and evening. Guests get the Fiji small island experience at a fabulous price. Rooms are large but simple.

Dirty and old, I felt like I was lining up for food at an army camp. Okay if you were 28 and just wanting to swim and drink. Very expensive to go on any trips.

Rustic but beautiful. Super relaxing and the staff and the happiest people! Loved it!

The island and the nature is beautiful. The rooms are old and seem as if they haven't been renovated in years.

My fiancé and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this little resort in paradise. There are so many things about this place that make it fantastic, but I will try to mention our highlights.
First of all, the enthusiastic staff goes above and beyond to keep the property clean, the white sand combed, and the rooms clean. We stayed in a private beach front with air con and have absolutely no complaints. Comfy bed, warm shower, and sunset views over the pacific every night.
The resort also offers free daily snorkeling tours to a gorgeous reef that's only a 5 minute boat ride away.
Bring your own snorkeling gear and you can discover vast reefs right off the shore and spend the whole day fish finding.
Fiancé and I have traveled around the world and we both agree that you can't get a better deal at this price point. From the friendly staff to the amenities and the relaxing laid back atmosphere, we will be back if we can!

The buffets are plentiful and varied and we really appreciate this convenience. All staff are wonderful. Our beachfront bure is everything we dream of in a tropical island holiday. A most enjoyable stay!

This was our second stay on the island. Last time was 1975 for our honeymoon.
The atmosphere was still the same. Loud music, good food, dancing and quizzes. Very low key.
My husband is coeliac and he received separate meals...
Even gluten free pancakes for breakfast. Much appreciated.

Our stay at the beachcomber was great, the staff are beautiful friendly people. Our room was clean and tidy. The shower only ran cold water but for only one night we swam in the sea and were happy with that. The all inclusive buffet breakfast lunch and dinner was a complete surprise for us. What was offered was basic but good food and was all inclusive so a bonus. Snorkeling was absolutely amazing and i recommended it if your staying at the beachcomber.

The resort accomodation is tired but adequate In our room shower water flow was low flow and in basin even less Would be nice to have some lounges, dck chairs on the beach
The food is buffet - big cooked breakfast and usually beef, chicken and fish other meals
Overall though an enjoyable week

Excellent stuff with good communication they are very helpful , the only thing to be recheck is the water issue as we didn’t have water in the last day of my stay due to electrical problem, otherwise everything was really good and I highly appreciate the stuff communication and friendly , I even made a positive review in my TikTok about the hotel

It is a very peaceful island retreat. Rey laid back island vibe. The food was good. My only complaint is they do not have lounge chairs for the beach. Everything else is wonderful.

The description of the resort did not state that it has sand 99 fiji dollars per person each time.
everywhere to walk from reception to rooms or for lunch. I was not able to walk easily in sand as a less abled person. I left the resort within 3 hours of checking in.
In that 3 hours what I also noticed is how over priced the resort was with very limited amenities. This resort is on an island 45 minutes boat trip so once you are there it is hard to go any where else unless you pay
