About this house rental
Come ENJOY a unique mountain-town home. Come cook a family meal in the full kitchen, read your favorite book in front of one of the two fireplaces (wood not provided), watch the local wildlife walk by on the top deck, continue watching your favorite show on one of our smart tv's, roast marshmallows in the back yard fire pit, or unwind after a long day of exploration in the 5 person hot tub. Close to shopping & food (1/4 mile from downtown Woodland Park). Parking for 2 vehicles & pets welcome!
This BnB has two stories with access points to the top level both internal and external to the house. Upstairs is the kitchen, a living room with wood a burning fireplace (firewood not provided), a deck with a picnic table overlooking the front of the house, a bedroom, and a full bath with a walk-in shower and laundry room. The first level features two bedrooms, a second living room area with wood burning fireplace (firewood not provided) and pool table, and a full bathroom with a tub. The backyard is fully fenced and features a spacious patio, propane grill, bar seating, hot tub, outdoor table and chairs, and fire pit.
Digital locks on the two primary entrances. Codes will be sent out two days prior to check-in. Parking for two in the driveway.
Our neighborhood is quiet and very close to several cute shops and restaurants in downtown Woodland Park. We really enjoy Cafe Leo Coffee Shop, Stuft Food Emporium, and Memorial Park. We are located 12 miles from the entrance of Pikes Peak, 17 miles from Garden of the Gods, and 20 miles from downtown Colorado Springs.
We recommend that you do not relay completely on Uber and Lyft to get around. It's easy to get a ride to the property, however getting a ride from the property to your desired destination can be difficult. 4x4 or AWD is recommended for winter/snowy months (November-May).
No Air Conditioning- Like the majority of houses located in the Colorado mountains, we do not have air conditioning. A few open windows and some fans should keep things nice and cool for you.
Dog Friendly - Well-behaved dogs are welcome but we ask that they stay off the furniture and bedding. Also please clean up after they use the restroom and dispose of it in the outdoor trash can by the garage in the backyard.

NO smoking or vaping inside the apartment (smoking fees along with damage fees may occur if the home smells of smoke)
The cleaning Fee is set by the Cleaning Pro that we contract with. They are trained, experienced, and go through the AirBnb 5 Step enhanced cleaning process which includes disinfecting high traffic/touch areas (remote controls, light switches, rails, etc.)
For stays longer than 30 nights we do require a lease agreement, background check, copy of drivers licence, and a one time insurance fee to be paid before your arrival. For stays 30-59 nights it will be $370 and each additional 30 night block of your stay will be an additional $130

No disruptive events or parties. Airbnb guidelines state that if a guest is reported for a disruptive party or violating Airbnb's party and events policy, they may be subject to suspension or removal from the Airbnb Platform. In addition, the host may also ask that you vacate the property and no refund will be given.
Fee schedule for violating house rules:
-Unauthorized late check-out: $50 immediately, $50 for every 30 minutes after checkout (i.e. +$100 at 30 min after checkout, $150 at an hour after checkout).
-Unauthorized Parties or events: $250
-Pet cleaning fee (if pet uses the bathroom in the house, or has excessive shedding, etc.): $100-$300
-Deep clean fee, if required (i.e. vomit, carpet stain, bodily fluids, or excessive trash, etc.): $100
-Broken/damaged items: charged at replacement value

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. The Bear's Den had everything we (my wife, our two kids age 13 and 10, and myself) needed. Very cozy and well maintained home with room for the four of us to spread out and everyone to have their own room. Fenced in backyard with hot tub was one of our favorite features. Very close to stores for supplies and can walk to downtown Woodland Park. Easy access to our favorite attractions in the area (Pike's Peak, Manitou Springs, North Pole, Garden of the Gods, etc.). Clear communication and easy process throughout. Highly recommend and hope to stay here again.

We spent our 9th year anniversary and wanted to get a way. The house was awesome and was close to town. We were able to walk to restaurants and enjoyed a great visit.

the check in was frustrating we were already in colorado for 10 days and management would not give us the information til three days before arrival and internet in the mountains is iffy. a lot of steps location and the was perfect and the amenities were great

Loves our stay! Very clean, very comfortable, walkable to the main part of Woodland Park. We are such big fans of this mountain town, now, not only for ample options for outdoor activities but also the dining and amenities this mountain town has to offer. We enjoyed the patio, nature, hot tub, and the pool table. We will be seeking this place again in the future! Thanks for letting us bring our small dog, too 😊.

We loved this cozy house and had an amazing week in CO! The owners are very quick to respond to any questions we had, the backyard and hot tub were great and it was great to have our dog along! A week wasn’t long enough for all we wanted to do but still had an amazing time!

Our family enjoyed staying at this house. It’s a great location for many surrounding attractions. The house is nice, the yard was great and fully enclosed for our beagle to snoop around. I couldn’t get the grill to ignite but might have just been user error. The hosts were responsive and check in and out was a breeze.

The backyard was perfect for dogs and bbq. hot tub and bbq worked great. lots of nice seating options, and there is a perfect spot for hanging a hammock. the backyard could have used some weed eradication, but otherwise a really great backyard!

Went to Woodland Park for my son’s baseball tournament. Just a quick one night stay but it was great, had everything we needed and my son enjoyed the hot tub! Great location close to town and to the baseball fields.

Our family of 3 had a great long weekend at this property. The location is perfect, easy to get to and close to all the attractions in Manitou Springs. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay including cooking several meals. The bottle of wine that was left for us was a nice treat after a long day. The hot tub was perfect and we used it daily. Our dog really appreciated the large fenced yard and doggy door.

We stayed over spring break & loved the house! It’s 2 stories with the stairway blocked by a door. Huge fenced backyard was perfect for my little fur babies. Saw 8 deer in front of the house at one point. It’s quiet & relaxing! About 20 mins to Colorado Springs, where we spent most of the trip. We enjoyed staying with you & will be back if we’re in the area again. Thank you!

We took our family to this cabin and enjoyed our stay so much. Definition of relaxation, getting away from the day to day. The spa was big enough for us all to fit. We loved the woodburning fireplace. They supply you with more than enough towels and plenty of sleeping space. I would definitely return again. My kids loved it.
