About this cabin rental
A family favorite, this amazing four bedroom home features a two car garage plus street parking, a large deck w/ seating, and a pine tree growing right through it, hence the name Pine Tree Chalet! If you're looking for clean, spacious, and modern with all the log cabin charm, this is it! Fireplace operates on a switch, plenty of space to cook, four large bedrooms, laundry, board games...too many amenities to list! Built in recent years, this cabin is located with a group of a similar massive log cabins in a neighborhood called Sierra Pines. Walk up a few steps to the front door where you'll find a stress-free keypad for easy check-in. Inside, a beautiful open concept living room, dining, and kitchen are fully stocked with everything you'll need for a memorable family vacation, from cooking utensils and appliances to board games and extra blankets. Our favorite feature in the living room is the cozy built in fireplace, which can be turned on with the flip of a switch- no need to fuss with manually starting a fire after a day skiing at China Peak. Also on the main level is a beautiful deck with a pine tree growing right through it, and two dining tables. Upstairs, four spacious bedrooms have comfy beds with fresh linens and fluffy pillows. Each room was expertly designed with your comfort in mind. The master bedroom en suite features a seperate shower and jetted tub with plenty of vanity space. Whether you're getting ready for a wedding, on an epic ski trip, or your annual family vacation to Shaver Lake, Pine Tree Chalet is sure to be your favorite vacation rental yet.
The Space
Spacious four bedroom cabin in a community of grand log cabins, easy to access in any season! Upstairs, the master bedroom features a luxurious king-sized bed and attached bathroom with soaking tub. There are three more bedrooms on the top level. Stream your favorite shows on the Smart TV or just unplug and hang out on the deck. The first floor is an open concept living, dining, and kitchen, the perfect space to gather around the table or fireplace. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy. Garage and street parking. This cabin sits in the middle of the community and is very easy to find.
Guest Access
Guests have access to the whole cabin, deck, garage, and first-come, first-served street parking. Free WiFi, fresh linens and towels, fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer are available. Guests have access to the community which includes a dumpster for trash, walking trails, and plenty of space in the woods to explore, sled, hike, and rock climb. Guests may use their own streaming logins to watch TV, or use a provided Netflix account. Are you traveling for a church, company, or group retreat? Located right off Tollhouse Road, this cabin is very easy to access in any season. The Sierra Pines neighborhood is a community of recently built grand log cabins with modern amenities. Just a few miles south of downtown, you're out of the the hustle and bustle during busy weekends, but close enough to enjoy restaurants, grocery stores, shops, and water sports with just a few minutes drive.

Getting Around
We suggest using your own vehicle to get around. 4 wheel drive and tire chains are strongly encouraged during winter months, and may be required by California Highway Patrol when there's snow in the forecast. During years with record snow fall, be sure to keep an eye on local road conditions, and carry a shovel, chains, and water in your vehicle.
House Rules
1. Communication is key! Check in after 4pm. Check out by 11am. Our office hours are between 8am-9pm, so please communicate between those hours and let us know if you plan to arrive after 9pm.
2. Honesty is the best policy! Let us know about ALL guests who will be coming to the house. Max occupancy is 10 guests Pets are NOT allowed at this property.
3. No parties! We know this home holds a lot of people, but please respect our occupancy limit (10). No smoking of any kind. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking, smoking, etc. will result in a $1,000 party fine. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.
4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas (patio, bbq, games, etc.), and provided amenities, please clean up after yourself so the next guests can enjoy them as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it.
5. Have fun! Our goal is to host a vacation to remember. We'll always do our best to make sure you have the best time, so please let us know if you have any special requests or if anything comes up during your stay.
6. Be a good neighbor! Please don't leave trash outside where it will attract bears and other wild animals. There is a provided dumpster for your convenience. If you're parking on the street, park the correct direction and don't block the street or others' garages. Thank you!
