Much more sensible to stay here than go straight to Freetown if arriving on late flight

Friendly, informal good value hotel, with reliable pick up late at night and cold beer on arrival

La proximité avec l'aéroport. L'aéroport se trouve juste en face. Yogi Home nous permet de nous reposer avant le vol du lendemain matin à l'aube. Le personnel est très disponible et arrange le taxi.

Salute to owners for brilliant hosting and truly a landmark in airport town!!

Yogi Homestay is like a blessing for all the flight travelers who land at Lungi International Airport as there is no need to cross the sea to reach Freetown Mainland in odd hours as there are no boats to cross in odd hours. The food and service and cleanliness and the environment and the kindness of host touched my heart and moreover I got all the necessary support regarding currency exchange and local guidance. All the staff is very cooperative. The Wi-Fi and electricity is 24 hours working which is like a blessing in Lungi town as this airport town has no government supply of electricity. There is ample parking space and there is a room for driver also!! The kitchen is 24 hours operational and they prepare exceptionally delicious food . Room Service is also excellent. The hot and cold water has a pressure as well , so taking a relaxing shower can refresh you and this guest house can provide all toiletaries free of charge!! Surprisingly, first aid and massage is also available at extra cost. The quality of soft furnishing is excellent for sound sleep. The air conditioner is in excellent working conditions. There is also an entertaining lounge where you can watch Netflix and Amazon content. I also enjoyed plenary of mangoes direct from the tree in this property. There is a nice farm also which produces many vegetables. Drinking water is absolutely healthy . The entire place was very well ventilated and also fumigated so there was no any trace of insects. The aroma from nearby flowering trees was mind blowing during the night time. Staying here is indeed gave me a soothing homely feeling and I wish I can stay here very long as their prices are very reasonable.

Not a single complaint can be made. The guesthouse also provides mosquito gel for additional safety to fight malaria. The bathroom were super clean and disinfectants were sprayed all over. The owners take immense care for health and safety. The owners have taken plenty measures for green sustainability’s, recycling practices and reduction of air pollution. The generator runs 24 hours but there was no trace of carbon gases at all due to proper monoxide control. The laundry and ironing was super fast and super perfect. The staff cleans the rooms and bathrooms thrice a day!! I would pay even double money then they ask for such an excellence hosting!!

The hosts were very hospitable. They make you feel very at home. The service is 24 hours. The location literally could not be better for coming and going from airport.

Very caring .

Incredibly nice and caring family. Very helpful with everything. Just a few minutes drive from the airport which is great as I arrived at 2 am! Hot water. Air conditioner. Strong wifi. Staying here my first night helped me figure things out (local ferry) before I heading to Freetown. Very relaxing place. Highly recommend !!!

My shoe got stolen and nothing meaningful was done about it. The staff looked around and all they said was sorry. But at least nothing else was stolen

Excellent home stay close to Lungi airport

Everything! Very close to airport. Comfortable room, excellent AC, hot shower, fast WiFi! The host was very responsive and even picked me up from the airport and brought me to the home stay in the middle of the night. Outstanding hospitality and comfort. Strongly recommended!

FANTASTIC STAY

Uday and Mama and Papa and Ibrahim and Abu are like family now. You CAN come here and feel at home and 100% safe. It was the best experience if you are into experiences. I have never been treated so well in my life. I highly recommend.

We need a place where we could easily get to the airport, this was IT ;-)

Fantastic host and everything well taken care off. Transport to airport, breakfast nice and room and bed, shower excellent. Super clean. We had a lot of fun with the host and his family. Dancing, laughing and My stomach was hurting the day after from all the stories Uday told us. If in Freetown, we would come back for sure.

perfect stay in Lungi for late arrival

close to current Lungi airport and in the near future just opposite the new airport building. I was picked up in the middle of the night by the host and his driver. staff is super friendly and very helpful. rooms are clean and sufficient. hot water and a/c available. would recommend for a first night in Lungi if onward travel to Freetown is not preferred during the night. good luck to Sam and his staff for this location!

One of my more memorable stays. Arriving at 03.30 after a long journey I was greeted by Sam and Sam senior, a really warm welcome that made me feel that I was arriving home. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. If I can be honest, a couple of negatives, the mattress bowed in the middle and there wasn't much water pressure but this is Africa but it definitely didn't detract from my stay. It's guaranteed that I'll be staying again. Thank you Sam.
