About this house rental
Within easy walking distance of the white sands of Bamburgh beach and not far from the famous castle which is visible from the front of the house. You can also walk into the centre of Bamburgh where you can find many things to keep you entertained, such as the museum, little shops and eateries. A short drive south is Seahouses where you can take a boat trip out the the Farne Islands nature reserve with its many birds and other wildlife.
The interior of this contemporary ground floor property has a number of different rooms and spaces, opening up into large airy communal areas that have been beautifully decorated using cool greys and designer wallpapers. Mellow yellows and blues pull together the sand and sea vibe. This stunning property earned its place to feature on The Times '50 best cottages’ list!
Some of the great features include the private timber play equipment in the garden, a gorgeous free-standing bath and the cosy log fire.

Excellent location with short walks to the beautiful beach and village centre. Property very clean, well presented and equipped. We enjoyed using the large kitchen and eating area. The front and rear gardens were a little overgrown and some of the play equipment was broken. The shower/bath facilities were excellent but on the last 2 days there was no hot water (the problem was fixed on the first day but recurred on the second). The door to the double bedroom at the front of the house is misaligned to the frame and does not shut. The house instruction booklet could be updated as it contains out of date contact information and the description of the heating controls does not match the actual installation. Instructions for the ice maker would be helpful. Overall a very comfortable stay in a lovely area.
