Pet Policy:
We are glad to host your pets too. Regardless of how well trained the pet is, we have found pets do crazy things at unfamiliar locations. I really do not want to charge for cleaning carpets or floor rugs. It’s a pain, so please READ carefully! Thank you!
We ask for compliance in a few house rules:
•Do NOT invite them onto the furniture so we can keep it in great condition for all who are to come!
•DO NOT allow them into the bedrooms. Keeping the doors closed will make this easy. We just replaced the carpets in many locations and want to keep them fresh and pet smell free.
•We encourage you to bring your pets favorite bedding and blankets to prevent marking or nervous accidents. Trust us, they do happen!
•Please keep them on wood flooring, use the baby gates provided or close bedroom doors to ensure compliance.
•Let me know if you do not have extra bedding for them, I will provide it to you.
•The bathroom tub or showers are for humans only.
•When taking your pet out to the bathroom, please pick up after them. Other guests will greatly appreciate your taking responsibility for this.
•Lastly, please do NOT Leave them alone unkenneled. We offer Rover service , if you are going to be gone and cannot take your animal or kennel them. Let us know and we can arrange it!
There is a $40 per week per pet fee for dogs (capped at $120 per month), Any other pets will be considered on a case by case basis- please inquire. If you already paid it through your reservation, great! If not, please reach out and we can discuss the various channels depending on how you booked that we can use.
*Violations of house rules may result is a $250 fine.

Mary has a wonderful property. It is clean, and within walking distance to downtown. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. We always received a quick response from Mary when we contacted her. I would stay here again!

Overall very nice stay. House was great for cleanliness and host is very attentive. Everything is updated and I appreciate the AC units as it was warm when we visited. The location is busy with a high traffic street nearby, a drive through and fire station across the street. I am a light sleeper so the delivery trucks woke me up twice the first night even though I had earplugs in. Otherwise this house met all of our needs! Easy walk to a park and downtown too!
4.0 / 5.0
We spent the evening at this nice house while driving up farther north. It provides the basic amenities one expects from a well-run property through VRBO. It is has a nice well supplied kitchen for meal prep and cooking. The decor is bright and welcoming. There is a small backyard which is appreciated for those of us traveling with a dog.
There are ample bathrooms/bedrooms for several people to stay.
The mattresses however are not particularly comfortable or supportive for older bodies like ours. Also the location, while in a decent neighborhood, is near the corner of a busy street which is loud; also one can hear the train repeatedly through the evening.
All told this property provided us what we needed for an overnight stay and the property owner could not have been kinder and easier to work with.

The property was clean, well organized, and as described in the listing. We happened to be visiting during unusually cold weather and the host was kind enough to check on us to make sure we were warm enough!
