First I would like to say the host, Corey was great to work with as I had some basic questions for him before we arrived and he answered them very quickly. The house is located in the Mt. Washington area and is in an area with local restaurants and bars. The house we stayed in was nice, could use a few updates but they would be minor. The main bedroom was awesome, king size bed with a medium to firm mattress which I love! Slept great every night! It was very hot and humid while we were there and the AC works great as well. The house was very clean. You can head out from the house and walk to the overlook areas which has you looking on downtown Pittsburgh and the three rivers. It is an awesome view and would recommend to stop and take in the panoramic view of the city. Keep in mind, the Pittsburgh area is not flat so walking to the look out area is an uphill walk. I made the walk several times and I am not a skinny guy. Was a great work out though as I am trying to get in better shape and this was a great help while I was there. Met and had a discussion with the mail man in that area and he recommended some places to go eat, very friendly individual. Enjoyed talking to him. This was or first time visiting Pittsburgh and don't know if we will ever be back but if we do plan another visit I wold definitely book the same house again!

House was well maintained and clean. Just as advertised. Neighborhood was very nice. On-street parking was tight, but not a problem during our stay.
Centrally located. Outside of rush hour/game traffic, we could get everywhere we wanted to go within 10-15 minutes.
1 mile walk from a great overlook of the city, which was near an incline with a subway station

Great location. Very nice updated older home with excellent appliances.
Internet was not super fast, but we are spoiled with 500 gig. But fit work is was sufficient.

Overall very good experience. Corey was easy to contact if needed and made the check in/out process easy. House was clean and perfect for our group of 9. Really appreciate the flexibility and openness to allowing us to have a good time and not limited with a long list of rules or constant check ins. Would recommend

This was a nice home with plenty of space for 6 to enjoy! The location is a short walk to all Shiloh Street has to offer and an easy ride into downtown. It was a great home base for exploring Pittsburgh!

The host was great at communicating but I'm not sure if he's been in the property in a while to see it's state. On the surface it was clean but having a toddler, maybe I got a perspective that most adult guests might not. The rug (in at least one bedroom) had not been vacuumed (it was obvious), the tub filled up with enough dirt that my husband pulled my daughter out, the drain didn't drain properly in the main bath, dishwasher didn't work. I emailed the host about the drain, dishwasher, drink spilled on the wall and major stains on the carpet because I didn't want him to blame us. He offered to send someone for the drain but we declined, we just used the other shower. The kitchen had one dish towel, no dishrags and minimal things to clean with. The house is older so we didn't expect a sterile environment but my toddler had black feet after walking around barefoot.
Also, I never found bedroom #4 or #5. There's only an additional living room in the basement that you have to walk through an unfinished part to get to. That was fine for us, it was only my husband and our two girls. But someone looking for 5 bedrooms might have an issue.
The layout worked for us, the house had cute decorative touches but a major deep cleaning needs to happen.
I wish I could rate it better but being a mom of two young girls who've traveled the country and stayed in countless homes using services like VRBO, I feel its important that others know what they are getting.

Corey is a great host, and this property did not disappoint! We will definitely book again next time we are in town.

The home is very quaint, feels like home. Great are in the basement for kids to sleep and hang.
Kitchen/Dining are very nice to hang out and converse. Living room and back deck continued that vibe. The master suite had a great space. We loved the shower.
We had a few things missed by housekeeping. But Corey was available, and immediately responded. He's a great host!
I am definitely coming back.

This property is in a great location in walking distance of the incline. We really felt at home at the property and it was very comfortable for our large group. Corey was east to communicate with and was flexible with our needs. We’d definitely stay here again!
