Four seasons of outdoor fun are right at your doorstep from this charming home, located just half a mile from Brian Head Resort which offers a park to visit, and a pond for fishing and kayaking. Winter brings a wonderland of snow, with skiing, sledding, snowmobiling, ice skating, and cross-country skiing all minutes away. Warm weather offers easy access to hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and golf.
Highlights of the cabin itself include soaring, wood-paneled ceilings and walls, an open layout, and a cozy space ideal for gathering with friends and family. Spend quiet mornings cooking in the full, well-equipped kitchen, then serve up your mealtime masterpiece at the adjacent table before strapping on your snowshoes to explore the snowy scenery outside.
When you return, cuddle up with cocoa in front of the wood-burning fireplace and let the in-home washer/dryer take care of any laundry from the day. Spend the evening watching a DVD out of the abundant library on hand, stream the latest release, or use the free WiFi to catch up on social media. Even better, unplug entirely with a family board game or puzzle around the kitchen table. The upstairs loft also serves as an ideal source of solace. It is split into two separate sleep areas, making it perfect for the mid-day naps you crave. One bed faces a TV, so you can watch your favorite shows while you lounge. End the night with a cookout on the gas grill before drifting off to sleep in one of the comfy bedrooms or return to the loft - another day of outdoor adventures awaits tomorrow.

This cabin is awesome and we have no complaints about the property itself. I would strongly advise anyone considering this to understand it is not managed by VRBO or the owners but a huge company out of Portland called Vacasa. To keep this short, no one ever responded to any of my messages or questions in the VRBO app, the cabin did not get cleaned and was filthy upon arrival, and the only people we could reach to help were various reps from Vacasa call centers who have no stake in the success of this property which was evident in the way they handled the issue. We had to spend the first night doing multiple loads of laundry to wash all the dirty sheets and bedding and make all the beds. There was no soap, shampoo, toilet paper etc. We found Clorox wipes to wipe down surfaces. They didnt get the cabin cleaned until the next day at 2:30 and I had to fight over the next several days to get any kind of a refund for the inconvenience.

A delightful weekend was held amongst siblings at the Fur Cabin. It was spacious and clean. It had a warm and inviting atmosphere. There was plenty of room to enjoy each other’s company, play games, and make meals together. This would be an enjoyable cabin to spend time at anytime of the year.

I loved that there was enough beds for everyone. The upstairs bathroom is wonderful! Great find… perfect for a big group.

As advertised, cozy, clean, and comfortable family cabin/home. Definitely recommend!

Open kitchen, dining, living area where everyone can be together. Well stocked convenient kitchen. Super close to ski resort but feels secluded. We loved our stay here!!

It was so easy to leave Navajo and get lunch and come back. Cute and cozy for the whole family

This is a great place to stay while enjoying time in the mountains. The cabin is very comfortable and beautiful and very close to the ski lifts. There are areas around the cabin to play in the snow as well. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a nice comfortable place to stay any time of the year. We have stayed a few times and have loved it every time.

We recently had a relaxing stay at the Fir Street Retreat, a mountain cabin nestled in the heart of the Brian Head mountains. The cabin's location was beautiful and within walking distance to all the amenities in town. There were breathtaking mountain views and a serene atmosphere. The sense of tranquility and quiet was exactly what we needed to recharge. It was very clean, thoughtfully decorated, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The fireplace added a cozy touch on those cold evenings. I highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a perfect mountain getaway!

The cabin was as advertised with plenty of bed space. It had all the amenities needed to cook with. The only downfall I would say was no snow shovel and no firewood. But the upside is it is literally minutes away from everything you could possibly need. I would stay again recommend this cabin.

We have stayed at this cabin numerous times. It is perfect for our family which consists of adult children and small grandchildren. All of the adult beds are king size and we love the heated blankets on every bed. All of the beds are extremely comfortable. The master bathroom upstairs has a jucuzzi tub that is a wonderful retreat after a long day of hiking or skiing. The cabin has a great family/dining room where it is has enough couches and chairs for everyone to enjoy a movie. It also has a very long table where we have enjoyed playing games and eating dinner. The wood burning stove keeps the cabin nice and toasty with plenty of wood to use.
The location is perfect and easy to get to. You are 5 minutes away from Cedar Breaks, Brian Head Peak, and 30 -60 minutes from Panguitch Lake, Deer Creek Village, Mammoth caves and lots of hiking trails. Bryce Canyon is fairly close as well. You will not be disappointed in staying at this beautiful place.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Brian Head! The cabin was as described with all the amenities and then some. The location was good and in a quiet neighborhood, which lent itself well to lots of walks with our little one.
Other than dead bugs on the carpet (which we were easily able to vacuum up) and a few live spiders the first night, our stay was excellent.
In fact, we look forward to staying here again in the future if the cabin is available—and would definitely recommend it to families large and small.
Also, the Vacasa property managers were very communicative, checking in a number of times to ensure our stay went smoothly.
(On a side note, though usable, the downstairs deck is in the process of being re-leveled and stabilized. And while we were there, we couldn’t use the upstairs deck due to a large wasp nest on the back of the satellite dish.)

We booked a few nights for our family to get out of the summer heat in the end of July.
Weather was beautiful! Cabin is settled right in the trees. Comfortable property with easy access to Brian Head. Good layout, comfortable home, upstairs bathroom (loft area) was quite large and luxurious. Kitchen was well appointed. Good media selection and good quality electronics for movie watching.
A bit of road noise from the highway, porch has seen better days, driveways are gravel and a bit slippery. Wi-fi had no outside internet connection and guest services for the property manager was unable to assist. Elevation is quite high and one of our guests struggled quite a bit, but that was a risk we assumed and not a reflection on the property.
We loved it and were completely satisfied. If it wasn't for the elevation difficulty, we would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, clean, and comfortable cabin! It had everything we needed in the kitchen and baths. The cabin is only a couple minutes away from Brian Head Ski Resort which was really nice and convenient. We all felt very at home there and had plenty of space to hang out and relax. It is also stocked with many games and puzzles. The owners were great and and were there for anything we needed. We will definitely be booking again this year!

We had a fun visit and enjoyed the cabin. We live in Utah and were blow away by the snow. We had our family of 5 and 4 friends. We were comfortable. We had to iron out the wifi pasword. But we did. If it’s supposed to snow when you go, you may need tire chains. There is a little slope when you turn off the highway and we HD a hard time. We got stuck in the bottom of the driveway (Tahoe and Jeep) just be prepared. Our 2 wheel drive couldn’t get up the road to the house. But there was a map where over night parking was permissible. We arrived with it snowing around. 7pm. It didn’t stop till the following day at 5 pm. The road was plowed a few times and when not snowing we could go fine. Luckily you can get the free town shuttle one street up (and you can walk to Brian head through the cedar breaks parking which we did a few times in maybe 10 minutes). We would stay there again.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great experience. Fully furnished, comfortable beds, and a nice fireplace :) It is an only 2-3 minute drive the Brian Head General Store. They have a nice hill in front of the house that is convenient for sledding. We will definitely come back.

This cabin has everything! It is amazing, well stocked and furnished plenty of seats and beds for our large family. This homeowner thought if everything. It was very clean and so beautiful inside. The location is the best it’s right down the road from the ski lifts and down town. But the kids really just enjoyed sledding in the backyard. There is lots of space. This will be our new go too when we stay in Brian Head.
Thank you!
