The home was in a nice gated community (although a little tricky to find using Google). There are two baths which don't work so well for the downstairs bedrooms unless they're for kids. We had adults. The beds/pillows were nothing special. Even a nice pillow upgrade would really help sleeping. Other than that, it's a clean, nice house with plenty of room and a couple of nice decks/porches. And if the host is reading this, please replace your can opener. It doesn't work.

We had a group of 7 who stayed in the Nolan Lake area while visiting the Corvette Museum and Mammoth Cave. The house was very well maintained and beautiful. We enjoyed having s'mores around the campfire, playing games in the basement, and breakfast around the table in the mornings. It is a bit of a drive to get to the property, but we enjoyed the country roads and occasional Amish buggy along the way.

Beautiful home with lots of space. Kitchen was very stocked with plates, silverware, pots & pans. Had everything we could have wanted. Host gave us very good instructions & updates

We used the house for a weekend getaway for 3 generations of family and to visit nearby Mammoth Cave. The house was well equipped, lots of entertainment for the kids and adults- air hockey, poker table, and foozball. Dollar general nearby, but only 20 mins or so to get to restaurants or Walmart. Very nice inside, with a great bathtub. Lots of space for cars and near a walking trail down to the water if you want. We enjoyed very much and would go back.

We had a wonderful time at the green cottage! Had everything we needed; was very clean and welcoming. Very close to fun at the lake, but felt very private. Very beautiful and wonderful home and owners! Everything was communicated and we had a memorable stay. Thank you!!

Loved this place. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Very clean! Lots of wildlife - rabbits, deer, fox, groundhog(or muskrat?) and tons of birds! Only thing we thought was lacking was no bathroom on the basement level. Owners were responsive to our messages.

We had a wonderful stay and didn’t realize we would be able to ride a ferry across the river to make it to Mammoth Cave in under thirty minutes. Fun for the kids and convenient. Host was amazing with communication!

We loved our stay! The community of Poplar Ridge is a very nice small suburb of lake Nolan. It's very quiet and serene. The house we stayed at was well suited for families with small/mid sized children, as well as for entertaining a larger family with plenty to do. There are many TVs, toys, a nook for children, and a basement for adult games & entertainment. The overall house is very lovely, clean, and spacious. Highly recommend.

Property as advertised in the listing. Really nice decoration inside, and the neighborhood is real walkable. Pretty remote and relaxing location. Owner real responsive and communicative. Would stay again if in area.

The kids loved staying at “The Green House” and did not want to leave. Plenty of space for everyone sleep. The only negative was no bathroom downstairs. But this is a basement. The owners went out of their way to accommodate an issue we had when trash hadn’t been picked up prior to our stay. Over all we would recommend this space to anyone with a large group looking for a short getaway!!

My family and my parents stayed here for our Spring Break trip to Mammoth Cave and Abraham Lincoln’s Birthplace. If I could, I would copy and paste this house to where we live. It is beautiful and beautifully decorated! There is a large basement area with air hockey and foosball where our kids could hang out and watch tv downstairs to get a break from hanging out with parents all day. The main level has a large bathroom and primary so that my parents didn’t have to walk up and down stairs. The second floor was perfect for my daughter. She had access to toys, tv and there was the cutest bedroom and bathroom. It was plenty of room to both be together as a family and to have space if needed. The back deck was perfect for us to sit out in the perfect weather. Large yard and on a quiet cul de sac where the kids were able to get outside. Nice, friendly neighbors that we talked to each morning on walks before site seeing. It all just felt comfy and cozy as my daughter says. The host is wonderful and so quick to respond. It made for a perfect, relaxing vacation! I would recommend this home over and over!

The house was great. Very clean and well kept. We only had a few issues we had was the poison ivy growing on the trees and in the yard. Two of my children has poison ivy by the time we left and the only thing they did was play in the yard. The other issue was the drive way. The rocks are construction rocks and are not tire friendly or walking friendly. My mother in law has arthritis and almost fell twice. Over all it was a nice place to stay.

Love the entire stay! House was amazing and had everything we needed. Took a short mini vacation with our whole family. Great location! We went to the parks, horse back riding and the zoo. The owner was very responsive to us! Would recommend this home and we will be going back!

The house is beautiful, clean and located in a neighborhood convenient to the lake. Outdoor grilling and campfire areas have us the chance to enjoy the wooded property. Would definitely return to this property in the future.

The cabin was very beautiful and clean. Plenty of beds for everyone. Everything we needed was provided. A big storm came in with strong winds that blew a power line down cause the home to loose power. Lane and Scott were so sweet to check on us. Scott even drove down to bring us some ice. The neighbor set up a charging station her generator for our phones. There were trees and the power line crossing the entrance to the neighborhood preventing us from getting out. All the neighbors got together to get it cleared just in time for us to leave. Such great hosts and wonderful neighborhood.

What an absolutely wonderful experience. The owners were so helpful and could not be more pleasant with responding to questions. The home is gorgeous AND comfortable; many times you have to choose one or the other. Everything was there exactly as described. I would not hesitate to rent again.

Very family friendly stay! Cute little new build in a nice neighborhood. Host was very helpful and friendly!! Went above and beyond 😀. Would recommend to anyone!
There are very little options as far as restaurants and stores, so you have to plan accordingly. Would stay again!

The property is beautiful and worked perfectly for our family. We weren't sure what the layout was - it might be helpful to be a little clearer on the layout - it works very nicely with 3 areas for sleeping and socializing. Very nice kitchen with wonderful island to gather around. Loved the sectional and living room. Younger kids loved the loft for sleeping and playing. Young adults and kids both loved the basement for playing and cards games. Great experience. Close to Dollar General and wonderful restaurant at the Lake.
