Wonderful spot for a family gathering! We came to Maine to attend a “Celebration of Life Gathering” for our Mother who was born & raised in the area. Our stay at this large, beautiful cabin was perfect for our immediate family to enjoy nature, the lake, memories & each other! The cabin was comfortable for a larger group. It came complete with all the comforts of home. By day we enjoyed water activities in the clear waters of Embden Lake, By night family camp fires with s’mores! Amazing, peaceful setting to relax & have fun! We hope to return next year! Would recommend this one of a kind get-a-way!

family gathering, property was perfect for what we needed. had a few concerns but they were quickly taken care of. would definitely go back again !

The house was located in the pond, the dock is shared with a few other homes, so it isn’t private but we had no issue with that. I recommend bring floats and rafts. We loved the area. The house is open. The rooms are tight but we didn’t spend much time there so it didn’t phase us. We brought our own linens as there was a fee for linens which I have never had any other time I have booked a house. The only issue was they give you half the fridge and freezer and half the pantry space and with the number of people the house hold the space could be limited but we had no issue. We lived the location and the manager was very easy to communicate with.

Good for a large group, not directly on the water though

We were in the area for a funeral. All of the out-of-state family members were invited to stay at the house with us. It was a great place to simply be together. It was nice to make our own food instead of going out to eat. The hosts were extremely communicative and helpful. Some have already said we need to come back again!

We loved the main room overlooking the lake. It felt very cozy. The bedrooms are smaller and tighter than I thought. Communication with the owner was great, he replied very quickly.
