Lovely hotel with fantastic location, good breakfast and amazing staff

Good location. Walking distance to most attractions (15-20 mins). Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast with good variety and generous portion.

The air conditioning was quite weak during our stay.

Nice

The stuff was so nice , helpful and kind. they will help you with everything you need , guidance around the city, good restaurants recommendation and all. My room was clean. Breakfast is great , they making it by your request at same moment, it’s very reach and delicious.

I ordered a single room so I got a room in another building, a few blocks from the hotel, the lobby was really old and with mold smell, no elevator so with big luggage is hard. room was without a view to the canal.

Superb

The breakfast was wonderful. The location was excellent away from the hustle and bustle and hordes of tourists near San Marco but still close to all the sights and restaurants. Most of all, the staff, Tania and Silvia were very friendly, helpful and always ready with suggestions and ideas on sights to see and restaurants. They made us feel welcome and made our stay very pleasant.

They wanted to make us extend our stay in Venice. That's how good they were.

One of the best hotels in Venice, truly charming. Staff were amazing! Breakfast was amazing! It's small but has a big heart. Cannot recommend this place more!

Understaffed, they met every expectation and delivered every time. But the poor staff need more help you can tell they're stressed to meet the guests needs even though they delivered. So charming, nice and friendly and always willing to help! The rooms are quiet but you can hear banging of luggage from other rooms, not a fault from the hotel most likely the buildings in Venice, just bear that in mind.

I have to say Charming House is a best kept secret! Such a prime location next to the Guggenheim museum. So good looking and spotless! My partner loved the ironed pillow cases every day! Every morning your breakfast is made for you and your liking. Fresh variety of sliced fruit with hot croissants from the oven. AND the best coffee! I want to go back next year again! Cant wait!!

excellent hospitality, very good location, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, very modern design. The staff upgraded me to a double room for 2 nights as a complimentary

the only thing is walls are thin to hear other rooms but it is reasonable because it is a historic building

Great location, nice room, great staff

Great location, nice room, good breakfast, very welcoming and accommodating. Arranged for water transport from the airport and met us at the dock to help with luggage.

It was a little odd to be in a separate building around the corner from the main one. But it was fine. If it had been very rainy, though, it would have been not great to get to breakfast.

I would go again, after 4 days, the staff felt like friends!

great location, staff charming and helpful, clean and comfortable rooms and generous breakfast. They also provided excellent suggestions for dinner and booked our restaurants for us.

bathroom was a little dark which made getting ready to go out a little tricky for my wife
