Grounds (shared with owner). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are steps and a large unfenced ponds in the grounds. . This timber barn conversion has a beautiful setting surrounded by extensive grounds where you can sit out, or simply stand by the kitchen window and watch the ducks swim upon their pond. Being a perfect choice for both family and friends wishing to holiday together boasting three beautiful bedrooms, one being on ground floor along with a shower room, avoiding steps and stairs, and two more bedrooms at first floor.
Why not add yoga classes for a Yes healing experience during your stay. Enjoy your very own wellness expert, a highly experienced and trained master in Yin Yoga, meditation, mindfulness, a hypnotherapist, IFS and Bowen therapist. Guests are welcome to book sessions (at additional cost – pre booking is advisable).
Enjoying uninterrupted views across the Tas Valley, which is abundant with plant, bird and wildlife. Indulge and enjoy some of Norwich’s award-winning restaurants within just a few minutes’ drive. Excellent walks and cycle routes can be enjoyed direct from the door. Whether you are a serious rambler, or just like an occasional stroll, the area has a large number of footpaths, parish walks, bridleways and the famous Boudicca Way which runs from Diss to Norwich.
The Cottage has been designed and furnished to indulge guests’ enjoyment. Standing detached, neighbouring to the owners’ home, yet holding its own privacy, this beautiful barn conversion is nestled within extensive gardens and enjoys amazing countryside views, boasting a distant view of Norwich city’s cathedral spire. Guests will delight in the peaceful and beautiful surroundings, whilst not being too far away from many attractions. Just 4 miles is the city of Norwich with theatres, castle museum, cathedral, art galleries, excellent shopping and restaurants. You will also find Dunston golf course just 4 miles from the barn.
The historic market towns of Bungay and Beccles are located at the southernmost tip of the famous Norfolk Broads within 20 minutes’ drive. Wroxham, which is known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park, 13 miles, offering inland waterways, a natural haven for birds and an abundance of wildlife, daily boat hire, river trips and waterside shops and restaurants. Wonderful sandy beaches can be found along the coastlines of Norfolk and Suffolk. Explore the charming seaside towns of Aldborough and Southwold with its working lighthouse, beach huts and award winning pier, plus the quaint neighbouring villages of Walberswick and Thorpeness.
Many RSPB nature and bird reserves, National Trust stately homes, parks and gardens are all within the surrounding area. Norfolk’s seaside resorts of Cromer, 33 miles, with a pier and promenade, lighthouse and a clifftop golf course, and Sheringham, 37 miles, with the RNLI working lifeboat museum, North Norfolk Steam Railway, and the National Trust Sheringham Gardens. The Georgian market town of Holt is 33 miles, and Blakeney Quay a couple of miles further. Enjoy a trip to the Royal Sandringham Estate and Gardens, open to the public when the Royals are not in residence, 50 miles. Shops, supermarket, pub and restaurants 2 miles.
