Excellent and will be back for longer next time.

Everything was amazing and well above what we were expecting. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, nothing was any trouble. The room was beautifully decorated.

Nothing could have been better to be honest.

Lovely reasonably priced hotel ideal for a one night stay or short visit to the area

Beautifully decorated, friendly staff, nice touches.

- beautiful decor and furnishings - friendly staff - lovely toiletries - delicious coffee and sweet treats in bedroom - comfy beds and pillows

- low water pressure in shower - long wait time for breakfast - noise of doors closing at night was intrusive

Lovely decor, very convenient for a family function that we were attending.

- Lovely decor and furnishings. - Friendly staff. - Nice bar area with a great atmosphere. - Delicious snacks and coffee in the room. - Lovely toiletries in room

- Shower had very low water pressure, hot water tap in bathroom seemed to have an air lock and spluttered water with enthusiasm. - Noise of doors closing was intrusive to getting to sleep - I couldn’t tell if this was on the floor we were staying or whether it was above/below us. - wait time for breakfast was excessive; 45 mins from ordering to hot breakfasts arriving. When it arrived breakfast was tasty although sausages very peppery and the black pudding slice was more of a shaved slither. - hot chocolate with breakfast was very watery with little chocolate taste

Excellent restaurant, meal choices very good and quality high

Great friendly staff

Location on the main road a surprise - should have checked. And ear plugs by the bed was a worry, but was not as noisy despite being at the front of the property as expected.

No aircon so had to try to sleep with a fan blasting all night. Very small uncomfortable bed. Tv didn’t work. The en-sui

Housekeeping staff went above and beyond to let us into our room 2 hours early after a long trip from Scotland.

I didn't like the lack of choice on the menu.

Fairly comfortable, quiet and friendly staff

Free wi-fi. Hairdryer, ironing facilities Housekeeping good. Quiet Location suited us.

Strongly resent paying £5 per night to park the car when staying as a guest. Toilet seat was quite badly stained, probably from cleaning products. Would prefer walk in shower, not over bath. No shower caps, safe or fridge. No lift. Bar seemed expensive.

Having to pay extra for parking was unwelcome and pushed the total price up significantly. There is loads of room for parking...it is hardly inner city !

Work Christmas Meal!

Helpful staff. Excellent Christmas Meal and Breakfast. Comfy bed as always. Excellent disco after the food. Third time we have had our work meal here.

I can't remember paying for parking in the past.

Very good

Nice hotel. Liked the restaurant (great cheese soufflé). Fan in the room a nice thought given the heat. Left a tip for housekeeping which is unusual for me but reflected that they did a great job.

Pity restaurant costs are added to room bill if you want. Staff felt a little reserved, so the atmosphere felt a bit like being on your best behaviour at your Aunt's house. Both fairyminor issues but opportunities to be even better.

Disappointing, room very overpriced

The staff were very friendly. Nice bathroom

We found the room very old fashioned and dated. The room we stayed in also really smelt of old cigarettes which wasn’t nice.

Very pleased

The hotel was well located, the staff were excellent friendly & helpful. The only issue I had was that the bed was too small as my feet were sticking out of the end of the bed.

Bed was too small, my feet were sticking out of the end & I’m 5ft 11inches.

Pleasant

Great location near to Emsworth with a good pub near the hotel. Spacious room. Helpful staff.

Room was very hot even though the radiator was off. £5 per night parking charge wasn't mentioned until we paid. Breakfast was expensive for what you got.

Comfortable but a little tired.

Did not stay for breakfast

The bar shut early and it seemed night porter hd to cope. He was lovely but very little ambience. There was no wi-if information in our room.
