Alles! Exterieur en interieur. De tuinen. Je kunt hier je eigen retraite creëeren. Al je zintuigen worden geprikkeld.
De alarmoefening 😉. Pure noodzaak....

A beautiful setting. Lovely twin room. Decent breakfast. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

I really wasn't sure what to expect, as it is a a college, with interesting courses and students around. The setting is beautiful, as is the building. The room was modern and clean, no tv, but that wasn't a problem. Grounds and garden well worth walking round. The staff are professional but fun too. Looking forward to my next visit!
4.4
The room was absolutely stunning and faced out onto the beautiful gardens and the fields full of sheep. The college is stunning with all the tapestries and artifacts. The grounds are well worth exploring. A lovely cafe too with friendly staff everywhere. Highly recommend.
The swimming pool needs some work. There are some quirky elements ie no tv and the building being an active college but overall a really memorable experience.

Bed, breakfast 100%
All staff throughout the complex very helpful and friendly.
Building and grounds wonderful.
I would have felt a lot safer if there had been hand holds around bath.l

A wonderful location for a peaceful break. The gardens are stunning, and we enjoyed exploring the grounds. The rooms (we had two) were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would return!

The house and gardens were amazing. I can't wait to come again. The breakfast was good , hot and tasty.
Couldn't fault it
Found an empty water bottle behind the tea making facilities and 50p under the bedside table so it wasn't cleaned very well.
The room was comfortable but in need of a refresh.
Bed linen pure white and white fluffy towels.

The hotel was beautiful and the grounds suberb
Breakfast was a little lack-lustre.

The setting. Great vista. Peaceful. Lovely staff.
Nothing.

Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice of cooked food.
The location was relaxing and quiet. The gardens were lovely.
Our initial room had an old style high sided bath which was very difficult to enter in order to use the shower. Reception changed our room to one with a walk-in shower which was better and appreciated.
Breakfast was 'school dinner style' but a self service would have been preferred.
The room tariff was in our opinion overpriced for the standard provided.
4.4
Beautiful location.
One of the gentleman on reception was very helpful and polite.
Breakfast was awful. Everything cold and staff seemed like they couldn’t be bothered.
Price for the room felt so over priced - was very basic. Tiny bed. Nice bathroom though.
4.4
Beautiful grounds and building. Fresh and clean room yet traditional and in keeping with the building. Brilliant shower!
4.4
Beautiful south downs right outside our window with beautiful gardens all around.
The bar was a little sterile with no atmosphere.
4.4
Stunning grounds, amazingly helpful and happy staff, great facilities, nice free coffee/tea/hot chocolate etc. So much to see and travel to.
Nothing really! In our room there was a small ant & insect problem as we were on the ground floor and there were vents inside. Wasn’t too disturbing but would have been better without the extra guests
4.4
The property and grounds were beautiful.
We were not informed of any attractions and we would have liked a reasonable priced book about the property.

location and pool were excellent. Room had a fab view. Breakfast was very good. Spent the whole day there, easily enough to do
i suppose it would have been nice to have a tv in the room, but it was also nice to have a break from tv
4.4
Lovely place in the countryside, quiet and comfortable. Gardens beautiful to walk around.
Would benefit from a tv in the room. Also I was disappointed the tennis court wasn’t open as it was April and playable.
Breakfast was OK

Lovely location with glorious walks around the garden and arboretum. Choice of cereals, full English breakfast and plenty of toast keeps you going throughout the day.

what a fabulous building - it was an honour to be able to stay here!
nothing :-)

stunning location and building. Atmospheric. Friendly staff.
shower was lukewarm in the morning.
4.4
Beautiful location, wonderful walks around the gardens and parklands
The breakfast arrangements for guests is terrible. Guests have to queue up with those who are on the residential courses at the college. It is like school dinners, which was unexpected! Busy and noisy. Not what you expect when paying £130 for B&B.
This arrangement is not made clear when booking. Food was ok, terrible coffee.
The room was ok, a little basic. For a college of conservation and art, the decor is very tired and the room is sparse. Blue tac stains on the walls in the bedroom.
Overall not great value for money. So much potential to be beautiful, cosy and welcoming !
4.4
The grounds are absolutely stunning and worth the trip on its own. The shared areas of the college are stunning too. Towels were amazing!
Very low pressure on the shower. One great pillow and one fairly bad. The room size was pretty small for 130£ and with quite a fair amount of cobwebs.
