About this resort

Bundled between the majestic waters of Newport Bay and Historic Thames St. shopping, dining, and drinking, the Newport Onshore Resort will be the ideal New England stay. With Newport as the "Yatching Capital of the World," it is the perfect place to experience all types of boating activities, so once you charter your boat for the day, you can come back and unwind in one of the many pools or sweat it out in the fitness center located on site. Most guest's also love that within walking distance they can find the best museums, antique shops, restaurants, and art galleries while watching the sail boats in the harbor glide past.

Offering spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom resort suites that comfortably sleep four to eight guests and range from 800 to 1,800 square feet. Suites feature private bedrooms with one king bed in the master, one full bed or two twin beds in the guest rooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. You will appreciate the economy of a full kitchen and the convenience of a washer/dryer in each suite. Plus, suites offer a separate living/dining area, and spacious balcony.

A credit card is required for the $250 security deposit requested at check in.

The property was lovely! Only issue… fireplace very tricky to operate. However, check in process was not good at all! The office was closed where we were to get access card . It took 2 calls to the 800 # … at 11:00pm on a cold evening! The call center informed us they knew the office had not been open and redirected us to a different hotel to get our access key. They never contacted us before we arrived and called ourselves, though they knew the office had closed unexpectedly.

The condo was perfect! It was so clean and spacious. I went with a friend. She had her side of the condo with a bedroom and bathroom, I had my space on the other side with the same. Perfect accommodation. The view from the windows in the living area was beautiful. Beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend and will be back!

We had a great time on our Newport vacation. The location was right downtown, walking distance to Broadway and Americas Cup blvd. The pool was a great addition to our stay. The room comfortably slept our family of four and we loved the kitchenette. I rated it 4 stars for cleanliness because we had to move the couch to find the dropped remote and I found a bag of open snacks from a previous visitor. Otherwise, it was super clean and well maintained. The fireplace was my favorite feature. My kids loved the jacuzzi like bath. We will definitely stay here again.

A wonderful 5 night stay in Newport! A great off-season find! Accommodations were generous for a BFF getaway with 2 beds/baths and living area. We used the gas fireplace every day after sights and shopping. Prime location, parking was a breeze, and prime sunset water views! Recommend 100%

My 3 year old absolutely loved our stay! The fireplace was amazing on chilly nights and there was so much room! The parking spots were a little tight but we soon realized that to have any parking in Newport was a luxury. My son keeps asking to go back!

My daughter and I spent spring break relaxing and enjoying the sights of Newport. The villa was close to the restaurants and shopping, but yet so peaceful and quiet. We especially enjoyed watching the sun set over the water from our deck. And, since the weather was cool, the fireplace provided a warm cozy spot to curl up next to. The villa had everything we needed: shampoo, soap, lotion, towels, dishes, cooking items, etc. I highly recommend staying here!

This rental was exactly as listed and exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and spacious. The unit was equipped with appliances and cookware if you plan to use that. The location was ideal. I am not sure all rooms would have a waterfront view, but ours did out some of our windows which was nice. Overall, we would definitely hope to stay again!

My friends and I had a great time at this property. It was clean, cozy, and comfortable. We had a wonderful view from the fourth floor of the Newport Bridge. The location was key! It was central to everything we wanted.

Just alone time to rejuvenate. Unit very comfortable, front staff very helpful. Basic-only TV was a disappointment, as was the extremely poor Wi-Fi. Could not stream or download videos for lectures and movies I would have liked to view. Otherwise, a great experience.

This condo is SO much roomier than the photos make it appear! There are TWO decks overlooking the marina, giving you a morning and an evening choice!. Exceptionally clean, easy check in and out. Great location. Only recommendation - leave more coffee/creamer/sugar. Those little single packs of 1 sugar, 1 sweetnlow and 1 napkin, there were only 2 of these and that was enough for 1 persons cup of coffee on day 1. Hosts, please leave more sugar, coffee, etc. Guests, if you need coffee to fuel up in the morning, bring your own with sugar and creamer.

We loved our stay! The lobby and check in was incredibly easy to find and do. You are right in the center of town within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We had no issues with technology or wifi. Everything worked well. Bed was comfortable and condo was spacious

Hi, the space was perfect for ourselves and teenage daughter. The two bedrooms were spacious and the lovely view and fireplace were perfect. We had easy access to the small stores for Balck Friday.

Everything was beyond our expectations! Perfect location and every room was spotless. As soon as we walked in my BFF and I was in total awe. I will definitely book again. The town was beautiful. The check-in team was super friendly and provided us with details regarding the facility and hot spots around town.The resort location was perfect, right in the middle of town. We didn't need our car at all! We were a bit disappointed by our unit's location, from the pics on-line it seemed we were waterfront. We were actually towards the back of the compound and had a view of the pool house. Please update those Pics! Overall we were pleased & enjoyed our stay in a clean and well cared for condo.
