We had such a great stay!
Easily, the cleanest rental we've ever stayed in--and incredibly well-stocked with everything you'll need to make meals and pass the time. We were lucky enough to watch the snow fall through the big front windows, tucked under blankets by the fireplace. The cabin is a bit smaller than it appeared in the photos but was the perfect size for our family.

We stayed the weekend the temperatures dove & we stayed nice & warm & truly appreciated the fenced yard for my doodle. The beds are very comfortable. Everything you need is supplied including lots of special touches. The internet worked perfectly all weekend. The directions were easy & it's convenient from the Front Range.

The home was absolutely wonderful. Penny Pines and its' owners went above and beyond to, not only make their home comfortable, but was stocked with everything you could need and much more. Attention to detail was outstanding. We will be back. Thank you Jenny and Paul!

We had a lovely time at this cabin! We weren't expecting to see Christmas decorations still up but we're so happy to get to still have a Magical Christmas time while we were there. There were plenty of games and toys for the kids and private spaces for the adults! Would definitely recommend this place!

This property is beautiful and it is clear how much work Jenny puts into keeping it welcoming, clean, and peaceful. We would absolutely come back. There were just so many little touches that made this an ideal vacation home - amazingly stocked and labeled. We loved it!

Online description missing a few items:
1. Water. Drinking water is terrible. Even with the fridge filter, this water has an awful taste. Definitely bring your own.
2. Temperature/air flow. House is hot and could use AC. Listing says you don't need it, but you really do. The upstairs bedrooms get hot, (we were there in the fall, best of luck to summer visitors). And there are no overhead ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Just a dinky little 8 inch plastic fan.
3. Privacy. The house isn't really private. Master bedroom's windows and patio look right into neighbor's house. Same with the master bathroom and powder room windows, the 2 other bedrooms. Backyard is 100% visible to everyone, especially from the street.
4. Location. The noise from the road is loud and trucks zoom by.
5. Walkability. We were hoping to be in a place where we could just walk out of the house and enjoy the mountains, but people drive really fast on the road and there are blind curves so walking along the road was too dangerous. There are no sidewalks.
6. Decor. This house is beautifully decorated, but I'm not sure what is up with all the fake plastic plants. Tacky. Dusty. Spider web-y. It's also really sad to watch hummingbirds try to suck nectar from the ugly red plastic flowers in the back yard.
7. Owner is pushy and kind of fake.
8. Fenced in yard and dog friendly - fantastic!! But vacuum is LOCKED away. What if guests want to vacuum up pine needles or dirt their pets bring in? Weird.

This cabin in the pines was exactly as portrayed on VRBO. It was very clean and decorated with a mountain theme with cute seasonal touches as well. The views from all the big windows was beautiful especially when the snow started falling. We hope to visit again.

This house was just perfect, the decorating was great and super homey. Supplied with everything you could possibly want and our dog loved having the fended back yard, she even made a couple of deer friends and the neighbor’s dogs came to him too!

Everything about this vrbo location was amazingly perfect! Situated in the midst of beautiful trees on a mountain. The home was spotless, gorgeous, and had every amenity we could ask for. It is dog friendly, With a pull out dog bowl holder, a dog bed and even treats. We even asked if there was a blender. There was not, but they quickly went out and purchased one to be there before we arrived.
Me, being a Florida girl, I’m always cold. However, the gas fireplace in the dining room, the wood burning stove in the living room and the fire pit outside made quick work to get the chill out of my bones. And there is a deer family that visited every day which was a total treat!
Everything is labeled so you know where to find things and how to use them. And they have a binder telling you about restaurants, parks and contacts.
The owner is easy to reach and even came by to chat with us.
We will definitely be coming back.

This home was very cozy, kept very clean, and dog friendly. We felt at home and enjoyed all the amenities including a fenced in yard for the dogs. We did see some wild life on our stay. The backyard / porch is perfect for a glass of wine to relax or a cup of coffee in the morning when it’s a bit chilly. We can’t wait to come back.

This house was an excellent place to stay in CO if you're looking for an hour south west of Denver. We hiked in several locations within 30 minutes (Maxwell falls, Staunton state park, Roxborough state park) as well as one that was two hours up near Brainard Lake (Lake Isabelle). It was the perfect location for us. The house itself was a warm, inviting home with everything you would need. It's so well built and decorated beautifully. The window seat in the kitchen was my favorite spot overlooking the yard but the roomy decks outside were occupied most of the time, too! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This house was perfect. It wasn't far from the location of the wedding we were attending. In the evenings and mornings, we had deer all around.
This was by far the cleanest VRBO we have been in and cozy to relax in!

We stayed for four days there and enjoyed the every minute of it. The dogs by the way too. The fence around the backyard make the stay with the dogs so much easier. Very soulful design and very thoughtful details throughout the house. For the very first time I found sharp knives and decent pans!
Thank you very much!

This home is situated in a beautiful mountain neighborhood. Yes, there are neighbors, no they aren't right on top of you. Plenty of space!
The hosts were simply amazing. Very responsive and very friendly.
The house is immaculate and beautifully decorated. First time I've ever stayed in a place that was in this good of shape. It's very, very well taken care of. The whole place just radiates warmth and welcome.
The fenced backyard is a plus for those with kiddos or pups. Lots of room to roam with little chance of getting in trouble. Right outside the backdoor is a gorgeous, huge old Ponderosa Pine. Love them, their bark smells like butterscotch :)
We were visited by deer each day, which was nice.
We used only the master bedroom, which is spacious and comfortable with en suite bathroom - good for privacy if you are traveling with others. The bed is amazingly comfortable.
Long and short - it's a terrific place to kick back and relax. Highly recommend!
