+ Room looks like in the photo. Our room was bigger than the average room in *** hotel. But, because it was in a maisonette, the useful space was less than the actual size because of the low ceiling
+ Beds are quite convenient.
+ Samedan
- Cleanness. The room was dirty and dusty. There were dust and spots on the furniture and floor, dirt on the rugs, and even the tee spoon was dirty. Nothing changes on the second day (photos provided).
- Breakfasts. Products (yogurt, eggs, etc.) are not replenished during breakfast (not after 9:30 nor after 8:30). Minimal selection of vegetables (photo provided).
- Price. I would not complain about the price if the room were clean. However, it is around 50CHF more expensive than a room in *** hotel with higher quality standards (cleanness, breakfast, team, etc.) in the same city in the same season.
- Toiletries. The only toiletries were many small (10ml or 15 ml) 2in1 sachets (shower gel + shampoo) that were inconvenient to use. To get hands soap, we had to ask at the reception.
- Location and noise. The description says that the hotel is located near the church. However, it isn't any information that it is located exactly under the bell tower that rings even at night.
- Reception and team. The reception is almost always closed. Stuff speaks German and Italian but not English.
- There is a coffee machine in the room, not a teapot. So if you want to make tea, it will smell like coffee. Per day two capsules of coffee per two people are provided.
It was my 4th stay in Engadin during this season; also, I visited the region many times in previous years and have never met such poor standards.

I like the fact that I could use the Mineral Therm Facilities, everyday if I wanted. It is only 3 minutes away from the hotel.
Before going, I asked if I could bring my luggage in the morning and the answer was yes, no problem. When I arrived the door was closed and there was a phone number. I called but got the answering machine. So I had to carry my luggage all the time till I could check in. Also the staff was not really client oriented. At the end, I did not even get a good-bye from the person who asked for the signature and I did not even got a receipt. It was also the first time that I paid fully through booking and had to sign a receipt by the facility.

The staff is very friendly and they answer quickly when contacted through the Booking messaging.
The hotel provides a spa voucher with bathrobe and towels, which is very nice. The spa is in another building very close to the hotel.
They also give you a bus ticket for the duration of your stay that allows you to travel for free in the region, a nice plus.
Breakfast is fine, cold dishes of good quality. Also coffee and tea as usual.
The bus and spa vouchers were not handed at the check-in, so I couldn't use them the first day of my arrival.

The check-in/check-out was very efficient and the hosts are very responsive to online messages and quite helpful.
The property is very central and ideally located, at walking distance from most shops, from the bus/train station and from the cross-country ski tracks. Samedan is a village way more quiet than St Moritz, yet most towns are easily accessible via train and an excellent and reliable bus network in the region. The property offers free transportation passes per day for each guest, as well as free passes to the Mineralbad & Spa that is right opposite the hotel, this is definitely a plus.
The room was clean and of a decent size, the beds were very comfortable and overall the location is very quiet for a good sleep. Prices are decent for high season in the Engadine and overall good value for money for the savvy traveller.
The hotel building is quite convoluted, starting from the entrance gate that is very unpractical if one comes with a big suitcase (2x heavy entrance doors, unpractical stairs, low roof, etc.) The room was overall clean, yet smelly of recent paint or unpleasant cleaning chemicals?.. the shower sink also showed difficulty to drain the used waters.
The breakfast was very disappointing for an alpine hotel : the bread was dry and clearly freshly baked, the cheese & cold cuts were processed foods, there weren't much healthy options and no alternative milks available for lactose-intolerant guests - a farm-to-table breakfast with investing in home-made foods and a proper coffee machine (La Marzocco, etc.) should be a quick win for this property (on that matters, highly recommend the Kunst Cafe down the road as an alternative).

The hotel is in a charming 500-year old traditional Engadiner house - beautifully and simply restored. There is a wonderful library of books in several languages as well as board games to borrow during one's stay. The bed is very comfortable! The hotel is in the centre of town close to shops and cafes - also check out the weekly outdoor market on Tuesdays. Very quiet, very clean and the breakfast is really lovely - including vegetarian and vegan choices, and local fresh breads and cheeses. Ursula went out of her way to make our stay even more comfortable and happy! Thank you for a lovely stay and will definitely stay again on our next visit! :-)
Everything was great!

Easy to get to from the train station and perfect location for getting into mountains. Excellent buffet breakfast. I liked the building itself- charming decor, the wood and stone features. I was very comfortable here and would definitely return!

A beautiful historic house in the very centre of the village. It is two steps away from everything you need - perfect spot to explore the valley. The access to the Samedan spa complex is included in the price and the spa itself is just round the corner. Ursula who runs the place is an excellent host, very cheerful and helpful. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

My second visit, there is always such a warm welcome. The location is great for skiing, breakfast is fab and it has the bonus of a kettle in the room!

Spa entrance included makes this hotel better than many others with a small spa. We were everyday to Samedan spa, once directly with Bathrobes provided by the hotel (spa is 100m from hotel). Management very nice, good breakfast and nice hotel location (3 minute walk to train station) make the rest.
The double bed should have a bedspring per mattress, so that we do not feel other person movements.

My wife and I stayed at this remarkable Baroque hotel in late August. The appearance of the hotel itself - located in the heart of the old town - is marvelous. The owners have tastefully decorated the interior and kept it in tune with its rustic, cozy and historic character. Ursula, the manager/owner, made us feel most welcome and her genuine endeavor to make our stay as special as possible made this the best hotel experience we had in our 2 week tour of Switzerland. It should also be mentioned that the neighboring SPA (fantastic!) is free for guests of the Palazzo Mysanus.
In short, this is a sensational hotel and we will be back.
