This hotel is definitely not a five star hotel but rather 2 star . I doubt whether they have license for a 5 star . No bell boy for the luggage, no daily housekeeping , they gave us a room really tiny and the cleaners when they entered they did not clean properly . The breakfast is just basic and the staff really indifferent . I would not suggest it to nobody .

Enjoyed -location, staff efficient and friendly, bed comfortable and room clean, good value for money. Didn’t Enjoy- room right on Elizabeth street was noisy despite the double glazing. Thankyou , overall had a great time and would stay here again .

Staying here felt like a beautiful cosy respite from the bustle of the city right outside the door. The aesthetic is gorgeous, the staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was fantastic. I also really loved the continental breakfast.

Beautiful rooftop terrace, extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff. Breakfast was compact but well done. Pastries and butter were good quality. I don't drink coffee but saw many satisfied customers. Rooms comfortable and quiet. Cleaning staff were great. Fantastic location.

I stayed at 202 Elizabeth several times during an extended trip in Australia. The rooms are nice, especially the ones with the large balcony. The staff is outstanding! Friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The included breakfast and coffee were an added bonus. I highly recommend 202 Elizabeth for anyone needing to be around Surry Hills.

Everything was lovely but breakfast was disappointing. The poor fellow working alone was run ragged keeping up with everything. And the coffee! It tasted off both mornings. The milk was either sour or the machine hadn’t been cleaned. The juice supply was not replenished, he had no time! Couldn’t even ask him. And hard bagels are a strange choice for toast. And where was the vegemite, peanut butter and honey?

Likes: The property was easy to find, clean, suitably appointed rooms, and was in a good area with plenty of dining options around. Dislikes: We had asked about parking options at the time of reservation and were advised there are provisions for $49/day which we were happy to pay. The morning of our stay we called to confirm the location and were advised there is a Wilson carpark on Goulburn St. where we should park. We arrived to Sydney and tried to locate this Wilson carpark for 20-25 mins but could not find it. We called the reception again and were told "I can't help you, everyone else is able to find it rather easily, try to look again" and so we decided to just park in the Secure car park which was nearby as we were now running late for our show. At checkout we came to know that t was indeed the Secure carpark where we should have parked all along!

Lovely little spot in a super central location. It was easy walk or take the train/light rail all over Sydney, then come home to an incredibly quiet (thanks, soundproofing!), comfortable and well-designed space to rest and reset. The amazing coffee bar and simple but solid morning breakfast spread were the icing on the cake. Would absolutely stay again.

This is a great, well located hotel. Staff were excellent and accommodating. We wish there was some more room to lay our bags, and extra hangers to store our clothes. The shower needs some attention as we ended up with excess water on the floor each day which we found ourselves needing to mop up. It’s new so there is room to improve. The outlook from 403 looked towards the back of some shops so was not that attractive. Positives however is that it was very quiet. Surrounded by great cafes, wine bars, restaurants plus transport minutes away. Easy distance to walk into the city. Complementary breakfast of fruit, yoghurt, pastries was nice. Plus freshly made coffee / latte was enjoyed. We wish our room was bigger too. 403 was relatively small for two but we could see from the hotel map that there are larger rooms with balcony. Overall a nice, new, clean hotel with excellent amenities outside the door. Easy access to taxi / Uber also.
