Great location and close to main street.
Older building with some chipped paint etc. No air conditioning or fan available for hot humid days.

Very convenient location. We do not drive so have to rely on public transport to get about. Located at under a 10 mins walk from Berwick Upon Tweed station, getting there by train was very easy. We also visited Bamburg castle, Lindisfarne Castle in Holy Island, Cragside by bus, and the bus stop is just a few minutes away from the hotel. If you plan to visit Alnwick Castle, that too is reachable by bus from the hotel. All the main historic places in Berwick are also within walking distance. Our visit coincided with the Heritage Open Days, so had a good time joining the free walking tours on offer. We relied on the nearby B&M to do all our shopping. Having a microwave, small fridge was very helpful in preparing quick snacks when we needed to.
Wifi coverage in the room was very poor, and eventually I think the router broke down just before the weekend. We let the management know and I think they sent someone around to fix it on Monday, but we did not get to try out the new router because we had to checkout the morning after. Had to buy extra data for our phone plans because of that. I understand that these things happen, and hope recent guests have better luck with the new wifi router.
Walls probably are a bit thin because I could hear someone snoring in a nearby room. Thankfully that guest checked out the following day.

Humble but well equipped, extremely clean and great value for money
I liked all… you couldn’t fault the place for the amount we paid

Location was good
Inadequate parking. Very noisy. Bins weren't emptied all stay neither was tea making supplies renewed all stay and had to ask for toilet paper.

It was clean , tidy and in a good location for the town .
There is free parking but only for 3 cars. We couldn’t get a parking place. There were 2 free 24 hr car parks about 100 yds away which we had to swap between each night but other than that the accommodation was fine.
7.0
Proximity to town even though town was a dump.
The dire internet, constantly dropping out. The door locks are a right pain to operate, they need to be higher up.

Very nice comfy bed, good bedclothes. Nice sunny room. Nice to be able open windows to keep it cool. Fridge, toaster and microwave was a nice touch. Parking was great. Door code worked perfectly. All info given prior to our stay was spot on. Great location for everything - easy walking to coast, Berwick wall and points of interest, shops, pubs cafes and restaurants. If in Berwick would definitely stay here again.
Little bit of a damp/mould smell in the shower and toilet. Water pressure a bit low in the shower. A lot of passing street noise - this didnt bother us but might not be everyone's cup of tea. That's all, really happy with our stay, we had a great time.

Good location. Clean and staff helpful when we arrived.
No email received before arrival so unable to get in. Luckily cleaners were there and sorted promptly. No shelf in bathroom for toiletries and could have done with more storage for cloths etc.

Comfortable bed
Tiny room. Broken drawers. TV ariel lead broken. Dirty marks/spills on quilt Leaking sink. Bath but not enough hot water to have one. Smashed window was glued. Paintwork needing attention. Unpleasant stay
2.0
Shower room, location of property
Broken lamp, rough towels, broken shower rail, broken window blind, dangerous shelving caused injuries, dusty and dirty, coughing and sneezing for full five days due to dust, picture rails full of cobwebs and cobwebs on ceiling, dirty duvet cover, security doors to access hotel a nuisance to access if clients are old or had too much to drink. The owners expect you to keep the rooms tidy but dont clean the rooms themselves causing dust build up. Would not reccommend this property to anyone thinking of staying at Berwick upon Tweed there are much better properties there in better condition and cheaper. We had a miserable stay at this place and had to spend money for medcations due to coughing, sneezing, eyes watering and sore throats between myself and my fiancee due to dirty rooms.

Good location
Basic and no room to hang your clothes

Location = 10/10
Car Parking = 10/10 (space for 3 cars and I never had an issue)
General Room Condition = 8/10 (clean paint job)
Room Facilities = 9/10 (microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, cutlery & crockery)
Specific to Room 3 (Family Room):
Shower = 2/10 (very poor water pressure, temperature control broken resulting in being burned by the hot water every day - dangerous for children especially).
Carpet: Looks like a previous guest has put something hot on the floor adjacent to the fridge, melting the carpet and leaving a smell in the room.
Keypad Entry = actually this is ok once you get the hang of it but at first it's a little terrifying. We helped another guest who was also having initial issues getting in.

Beds were very comfortable
Facility needed to hang clothes and something to dry dishes with e.g. tea towel or kitchen roll.

Great location for town. Very comfy beds.
Entry to building and rooms was tricky. It was keypad entry black on black. You needed a torch to see numbers even in the day. Also you had to press the first number to activate keypad then press it again to start the code. We weren't the only people to struggle.
Also there wasn't any washing up things for cups etc or coat hangers , hooks to hang things up. We were going to a wedding so this was needed.

Fab room. Children felt safe being here. Very quiet. Close to everything you need. Lovely room and great there was a fridge.

Location very good as just off town centre - town centre very disappointing. but this is not fault of accommodation. Good size of a room and bathroom. all clean and fresh including white towels. Windows looking onto street and covered in plastic so private but no view. First night had parking beside it although its open to the street - very quiet area despite being beside town centre.
Realised when leaving that there was a fold up table and chairs under the best - notice would have been good. Also it would have been helpful to have an information booklet for information such as good places to eat/drink/visit although apart from walls and a few old building, (the bridges) there is not much on offer pier and "beach" is particularly disappointing - not accommodations fault. Only three car parking places so second night there were already four cars parked and we had to use public carpark - it was fine but given the prominence of carparking in the accommodation advertisement its a bit misleading. Mattress a bit on the well used side or quite soft but maybe others will like it.

Fantastic location, communication with the owners was excellent, nice comfortable bed.

just perfect

It was very central and had parking. Staff that we met or spoke with over the telephone, were polite and helpful. The room suited our needs providing us with independence and access to the Holy Island, Berwick itself and Seahouses.
If you are central you do get some traffic but this is a minor point.

Very easy self check in process. It had a bath, fridge and a microwave which is not a standard for these types of rooms. It had a very good location.
The water for the bath was not warm enough. Instead of relax I wanted to leave the bath in about 5 mins

Location was great. Big room with fridge, kettle, TV, etc..
Really easy to check in and check out.
Comfortable bed.
Some furniture need a good improvement. Bedside table and wardrobe were not the best. windows glass with scratches.
As my room was on the ground floor to the the main road was noisy.
6.0
Situated very near the town centre. Walking distance to train and buses. Quiet location. Very clean room with en-suite shower room, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave. Free Wi-Fi.
Customer service was poor. I had no response to any questions or concerns. There’s no on-site reception so everything is done through email or phone. The room was comfortable but there were issues that could have been remedied from day 1.
