In Isabela, families can enjoy the beautiful nature of the northwest area of the Island. Less than 15 minutes from the condo, there’s a bicycle path where you can rent? a bicycle or an electric scooter and cruise along the different beaches. There’s also horseback riding by the beach, snorkeling, scuba diving, surf lessons, and other fun activities under the sun. 5m drive to Aguadilla where there are lots of bars, restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, dessert shops, etc. On the far side of the road, 10m away, is the BQN airport in Aguadilla which has car rentals.
Other Things to Note:
With the proximity to the beach comes an ocean breeze that has a high concentration of salt. We ask guests to close the doors and windows when they leave the house, but the ocean’s proximity takes its toll on the place. You can expect to find sticky surfaces, slippery floors, stained window glass, traces of moisture or salt in the fans or air conditioners, and any other slippery or moist surfaces. Traces of rust in appliances and other metal components are also typical, but we strive to have only stainless steel appliances that resist rust. Puerto Rico also has some of the greatest biodiversity in the world, and that includes bugs (think: mosquitoes, grasshoppers, moths). We spray this unit monthly, but there is a possibility that you will run into bugs on the property, especially at night and during times of changing weather. Regarding larger animals, PR has no dangerous species, but do not pet or feed wild iguanas, dogs, or cats.
We clean this property thoroughly after check-out. We also do a quick inspection and retouch surfaces if needed before guests arrive. Still, it is impossible to maintain the areas perfectly due to this weather.
Local Beaches: The beach in front of the Complex is unsuitable for swimming (which is great for serenity!) but there’s usually a shallow pond to relax in between the reef and the shore. The nearest area with a swimmable beach will be Jobos Beach, a 15m beach walk from the spot. 1.5 miles to the west is the snorkel spot Shacks Beach. Within a 5-minute drive from the condo, there are two beach ponds with calm water: Montones’ and Teodoro. 20m away is the must-see Crash Boat beach. The world-renowned Rincon area is a 50m drive.
Storm / Hurricane season: The official hurricane season in Puerto Rico is from June 1st to November 30th. We suggest that all guests get travel insurance. We will only offer proportional refunds if the power and water supply are interrupted for over 24 hours (rare).
Swimming Pool: From time to time, the pool is closed for maintenance. Be kind to the condominium’s staff. You may ask them when it will reopen, and they’ll provide any available information. There will be no discount if you cannot use the pool during your stay.
Please take good care of the property - and tell us if anything is broken! My team takes pride in maintaining it. We understand the difference between normal wear and tear and property damage. We will charge the guests the replacement cost of stained, damaged, or missing goods such as towels, furniture, decoration, kitchenware, or any other lost or damaged item. If you rented multiple places, please make sure our items are returned to our place.
Housekeeping Note:
The cleaning fee does not include trash disposal ($10.00 charge) or washing the dishes ($20.00 charge. If you’d like to request these services, please let us know in the check-out message, and we will send you a payment request.
Transparency notes based on feedback from other guests:
- We do not provide welcome baskets or unpromptedly check-in on you during your stay, but we are very responsive via the app to all of your questions. Feel free to reach out!
- There is a small dent on the front of the fridge. It's never bothered us, but it is noticeable.
- The hot water in the upstairs bathroom is spotty. (When we stay there, we still primarily use that bathroom - it's so hot outside that we like cooler showers!)

The apartment is just as described. Cleaner(s) do an excellent job. Furnishings are comfortable and in great shape. Views to the water from both levels are outstanding. Location is gated, and security is very friendly. Had no noise issues at all. Communication with manager was easy.
