I have nothing to write here.
I've stayed in a fair few hotels in my time, and this was by far the worst.
Chap on the desk was friendly enough, the bar was fine, however it would have been difficult for the room to have been worse.
The temperature was roughly 200 degrees, and the window opened (slightly) onto a busy main road. This was almost unbearable. Luckily a fan was provided to waft warm air around the room. The outside temperature was around 10 degrees.
The room featured an unlocked door into the adjacent room wedged closed by a wardrobe. Our neighbours tried to open this at around midnight, luckily we were already awake due to slamming doors and being able to hear every breath they took and word they spoke. If you're into sharing a room with strangers this is the place for you.
I'd say between us, my partner and I achieved around 5 hours of broken sleep.
Don't expect your room to look anything like the photos. Ours features worn/ torn/ patched brown carpet, dark wood furniture and brown walls, a very classy affair. The bathroom would have made a good scene in a Tarantino film. The bath and floor were unbelievable slippery, I don't know how any surface can be so slippery, I'm still baffled. The shower leaked through the screen onto the floor.
I spent a good few hours (I had the time as sleep wasn't an option) thinking about words to explain how bad this stay was, unfortunately there were zero staff present in the morning so I kept these to myself. The skeptical part of me (and the row of checked out keys on the desk) would ponder that this was tactical and learned by experience.
Genuinely I'm shocked at the standard of the place, we stayed for a fresh start for an event in the morning and ended up in a sleep deprivation experiment, it was awful.

Booked as a last minute budget break. Very central with parking immediately next door. Easy check in and very pleasant staff. Room was of a decent size, a little tired but very clean. Absolutely excellent breakfast - far better than some high end hotels we've stayed in. Really lovely staff members.
Nothing to complain about

Breakfast was good and served promptly and efficiently by very friendly helpful staff.
Room was a bit basic but functional. Our room faced the small internal courtyard so was quiet at night.
Hotel was very central and convenient.
Bar was not too crowded or busy.
Room facilities were ok for a night but rather basic.
Water for shower was not very warm.

only comment i would make it was such a shame the price nearly doubled in price since last year, I hope this will not happen again next year as we come for three days of cricket, maybe u could give us a deal next year ?? you are very welcome to talk about this if u want, tell phone no 07593 804555
The hotel it self is excellent, you could not get better, last year was great value, but this year our opinion, it would be nice could be a bit lower, so nothing is a dislike

Comfortable bed, a good night's sleep
Very good breakfast with good selection of cooked dishes. Good location for easy access to Cathedral, local shops, restaurants and pubs, on site bar good
Due to location there can be noise from outside,, early morning dustbin collections for example

Excellent welcome and time given to ensure I had access to meet all my needs. Loved the eating recommendations given at reception and the addition of a fridge, microwave and crockery in the room, plus plenty of space to meet other guests.

It is a pub that sold food which was great quality and good value.

Friendly staff although we had to wait far too long for someone to come to reception and check us in.
Rooms unacceptable for £90 a night. I'd stayed in Bath the night before paying the same for a much better room - the room we had was tired, next to the main road with inadequate soundproofing and with the bathroom having had its double glazing removed so even more sound leaked in. Worst hotel room I've had for years.

I really like this hotel and have stayed lots of times. I think it makes a big difference which room you are staying in. We weren't in our normal room this time and wasn't as good.
The room had its window onto the courtyard which meant you couldn't have it open because of the noise.. also the breakfast sant as good as normal. Good cold options. Cooked breakfast which is normally lovely wasn't great this time. Maybe just an off day but it was disappointing

Superb breakfasts with some less usual choices. Really helpful staff. Our own key to come and go at any time. The room had everything we needed, including a desk large enough to work on, a sitting area by the window and a proper bath. Interesting and beautiful town, with riverside walks and places to visit. Easy access to M5 motorway; and 10 minutes walk from the station, with frequent trains to Birmingham throughout the day.
Some traffic and crowd noise outside at night, but you expect that in the centre of even a small town. The Inn has no parking space of its own, but gives reduced rates in the nearby multi-storey car park. Internet and wifi weren't very good.

Breakfast was ok and the general bar area in the hotel was fine
The room was, quite simply, awful! it was really hot and the room was so small with only a small fan light at the top of the window that opened. The fan just wasn't up to the job. the general condition of the room was very poor and needed a complete overhaul. The window was cracked and the whole place seemed to have seen better days .There is no way that I would be prepared to stay here again

Pleasant staff. The room was quite large.
The room was very hot and this was not due to the weather (it was not that hot the night we stayed). Rather, there seemed to be a source of heat below the room. The kitchen was not working the night we were there which was a disappointment because we were hoping for a pub meal in the evening.
