This house is very comfortable. It has a huge kitchen, large open floor plan with plenty of room for 12 people. Great porches and an inviting saltwater pool make not wanting to leave.

Perfect floor plan, large well equipped kitchen, new furnishings in the house, very clean inside. The pool was beautiful and a nice size! Not a bad walk to the beach and close to the grocery and very close to rec center playground. My only issue was with the screened porch where we like to spend a lot of time . The furniture cushions were old and not only not clean, but also full of pollen. When the house is cleaned, the porch needs attention also. We all ended up with allergy issues and I came home sick. Someone needs to hose them off each time as long as pollen is falling from the surrounding trees.

The say was absolutely fantastic. Check in and check out were very simple. The house was huge and immaculate. It was located right where we wanted to be with close proximity to the beach, bars and restaurants, and golf. We had a great time here and look forward to returning in the future!

This was the perfect rental property for hosting our ministry team for five-days of fellowship and small group meetings. The house was spotless and had ample living space. When we weren't working, we relaxed on one of the many porches and enjoyed the gorgeous weather. Our friends from Minnesota and Colorad loved walking on the beach. It didn't feel like work; it felt like a vacation. We'll definitely consider renting this home again for our next meeting.

We stayed at his property in March 2023 with our kids. Home was beautiful, a short walk to the beach. Weather was unseasonably cool so we unfortunately weren't able to take advantage of the pool. Definitely recommend and look forward to coming back.

This is a great house for a big group. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Lovely furnishings. Everything was TOP NOTCH. Only negative was the bedding. Sheets felt kind of scratchy - didn’t match the quality and luxury of the rest of the house

My mom, two children and six grandchildren, husband and I enjoyed a week in this lovely home. I would highly recommend this house has a place for a large group.The location to the beach and the park are great. We rented a golf cart and zipping down the marsh side road to the marina for milk and basics was so easy. The location is just perfect!The elevator made loading and unloading so much easier. We had one group unpack cars and load the lift and others at the floors to take the stuff off! The garage kept our cars shaded. We loved the saltwater pool and the kids and adults had a great time in and around it.The layout and decor are so pleasing. Everyone had their own space. The upstairs den became the video game room with the large tv and comfortable sofa. Lots of bathrooms was also nice.The kitchen was nice with two ovens and a microwave and large professional gas oven. I would have appreciated a second fridge, even if just a beverage fridge at the downstairs bar or a smaller one fitted in the kitchen. Refrigerator space was a real challenge for us as we enjoy cooking and bought fresh local seafood for most of our meals. There were no large baking pans or serving bowls. I bought four at Target and left them. There were adequate pots, pans and baking sheets, flatware and individual dishes, but the kitchen really lacked serving pieces for a large group. There were no crab cracker, pickets which I usually find when renting on IOP. I had packed a few things from home so for the most part we were fine.If you plan to go out a lot you will probably be fine but on our first morning we had to use a cooking pot to mix muffin batter.The porches are so nice and thanks to their reviews we arrived with wasp spray. Even so my granddaughter was stung within minutes of our arrival. We sprayed numerous times and killed a good number of them so be aware. They seem to love the house, too!We took two excursions with Coastal Expedetions and Eco Barrier

I was disappointed that there were not televisions in the bedrooms. I also found it absurd that when we asked for extra towels we had to pay for them. It was a 12 person house and only one towel per person was provided.

We rented this home with another family - four adults, and six children in all, with ages ranging from 3 to 14. The space was very well-suited to the group! The family room/kitchen/dining room space was ideal for games, family meals and just general relaxing. We also appreciated the additional living space in the screened in porch area. The two king bedrooms made it well-designed for two families, as each set of parents had a comfortable room. The other bedrooms were sizable, comfortable, and most had en suite bathrooms. All of the bathrooms (except the MBR) could use more hooks for hanging towels and wet bathing suits, but otherwise were very good.The pool was smaller than we'd hoped, but it was still great to have, and the kids spent a ton of time playing. Not big enough for laps -- a few strokes got you from one end to the other -- but fine for cooling off and playing games.The two block walk to the beach was not long, but I do recommend bringing or renting a beach cart if you are carrying a lot of stuff. The rental was inexpensive for the week ($25) and well worth it - the rental company dropped it off and picked it up without any hassle.The rental company was responsive with the few problems we had (internet was out, bathroom door handle came off).Overall, a great vacation experience in a lovely, well-appointed home.

My extended family and I (8 adults, 2 toddlers) had a lovely week staying in this gorgeous house. We originally booked a different property, but were moved into this one due to maintenance issues at the other house. We couldn’t have been more grateful to Island Realty for ensuring our family vacation was nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend this property (the pool was a life-saver for the kids so we didn’t have to trek back and forth to the beach every day!!) as well as Island Realty to anyone visiting the Charleston area. Thanks to Daniel and Jenny and Island Realty for helping us find the wonderful house. Spacious and beautiful. Everyone had place to get away to if they needed but the open living area allowed us to join together comfortably. The beach was close enough to walk to and the beach felt like ours alone. We spent hours in the pool. Ate lunches on the porch in our wet bathing suits, then back to the pool. One rainy day we headed to Ft. Moultrie for some history. Would highly recommend!

This was our second time staying at this house. It is a perfect house for our extended family. Our children and grandchildren love all the amenities and the close proximity to the beach! The house is very clean, the kitchen is perfectly equipped (we all love to cook!), the beds are very comfortable, the pool is delightful after a hot day at the beach, the front porch is very relaxing, the space is perfectly designed and the community park is a block away. We absolutely LOVED our July (2019) vacation rental house!Our original house we rented (through another company) was cancelled due to a termite infestation 10 days before our vacation was to start. Needless to say, we were in a bit of a panic to find something that might be still available for our big family.Bo from Island Realty came to our rescue!! He found us a beautiful home a block and a half away from the beach with a pool. It worked out even BETTER than the original one we had booked! Even though it was not on the beach, it was a close walk, had a salt water pool (which we didn't have a pool originally) and it really was one of our BEST vacations we have ever had as a family! Can't thank Bo and the folks at Island Realty enough for finding this "Dream Home" for us. We have already talked about coming back to stay there again. Thank You SO MUCH!!!

This was the first time we ever did anything like this.The house was beautiful We had so much fun and made so many memories.The home was perfect for 3 families.The location to the beach was perfect and we were very close to the store and restaurants.The inside was very clean. It did have a pool however it was not heated.I was told people don't heat the pools after talking to people on the beach there are heated pools so you can use the pool.There were beautiful porches but we could not use them they had hugh bumble bees & wasps nests on them. We did spray every night but they were there in the morning. We are glad we went and we will go again next year.

We stayed here for a week with our families and love it! Lots of space - we practically lived on the screened in porch. Beds were comfy and we appreciated that every bedroom had its own bathroom. My only suggestion would be more cutting boards! There was only 1 that we could find - a couple more would be helpful.
