Good value for money. Effort was made with the decor. Lighting was nice.
It was a bit cold, the staff kindly supplied a blanket on request. I turned radiator on and was told it would come on but it didn’t. There was tea bags, cereal and fridge but no milk supplied and shop was not in sight, we were on foot. No explanation of how the breakfast part worked we had to go for v early flight. Just felt a disconnect with the owners. But it was fine for few hours sleep.

We understand this was a budget stay before flying the next day, but to receive a message saying room was ready?
On arrival there was rubbish bags in the hallway. On entering the room we both thought was nice for the price.
We then notice all rubbish on the floor near the door, carpets not been hoovered.
We then removed the breakfast tray and pulled quilt back and it was quite obvious the sheets and pillow cases had not been changed. We then noticed there was no towels in room . Tried calling the number several times with no success.
We then contacted through booking.com to receive a reply saying the rooms had been made up and towels were always delivered at 6pm?
Why deliver towels later, when supposed to have been in room Cleaning would make sense to leave towels at same time
We went out for lunch in the village and return at 9.15 PM
No towels had been delivered and nothing else done to the room.
The rubbish bags in the hallway had been removed.
Not a good night's sleep as we slept on top of the quilt as the sheets were grubby and was cold and had a rubbish sleep
Communication was terrible and saying we liars , room was not clean and no towels were delivered.
Ending going on our holiday feeling grubby as we had no towels to shower or wash ourselves with
Yes it is a budget stay and all rooms were full, but please communicate with people and if they have a complaint please deal with wether you r in site or not .
Never again

Location
Bed low and terrible old mattress meant we kept rolling together. No towels. One plate only and one spoon and had to wash filthy pots and cutlery. Cereals for breakfast but no milk. Butter but no bread or jam, sugar not re-stocked. No Internet access code. No one to complain to on site.

Nothing
This is the worst place I have ever stayed- there was raw sewage backing up into the bathroom when you flushed the toilet - the smell was disgusting - the shower was filthy- the manager never responded to my calls or messages for help she just left us to it totally unacceptable
UPDATE
I requested a refund for the three rooms I had booked from the host and got no response to my request- surprise surprise…. Contacted booking.com they liaised with the host and was advised no refund as per their terms and conditions!! Surely raw sewage seeping into the bathroom trumps any terms and conditions- no refund offered

The location was really good - not far from where I work and also close to Hale village (about 10 min walk) where there was a good pub to eat at. The room had everything I needed and importantly everything worked. I liked the fact the TV was setup for Netflix although I had to use my own log on. The owner was very helpful when I arrived and i got a nice welcome from her two dogs in the yard.
I know that the place is now under new management and some of the fixtures and fittings needed some replacement in my opinion but nothing major. Breakfast in the room was enough for my needs, however i had not realised that the fridge was not turned on, so the milk wasn't cold - this didn't bother me but some people wouldn't have been pleased. The other thing was that the bread was mouldy - again it didn't bother me as I just tore it off

In terms of location, this place is great for the LJL airport. I was visiting friends who live in Halewood which was a 6 minute drive.
Facilities were fine, my room was small but perfectly formed and the breakfast box was fab.
Accepts pets, which is great.
Lack of check in/reception. I wondered around the site for a while before having to call and let someone know I had arrived.
I'm a dog lover, and was travelling with my own dog, but I don't appreciate being charged and barked at every time I stepped foot outside. I liked even less that my dog was charged and growled at by one of the on site dogs.
These dogs also ran at my car as I was driving onto the site so I worry for their welfare being close to a road.

Location is great for the airport and plenty of parking space. Hosts friendly.
It was obvious that the room was changed from previous guest in a rush. The toilet still had splatter from previous guest. Breakfast provisions consisted of a box of rice Krispies and sachets of coffee. No milk, juice, bread, rolls etc. Had to ask for the iron and provisions and was just supplied iron. Went to get my own breakfast provisions. Bed not comfortable, it's an old or cheap mattress as you could feel the springs inside. Sound proofing between rooms poor as every word and sound could be heard from person next door. Decor a bit drab and dark and done in a rush as paint stains on radiator, switches etc.
Emergency light positioned inside room, so had green standby light glowing all night. Normally these are outside in the corridor.

Beautiful rooms, lovely staff and nice little breakfast.
There was a lot of noise - other guests & outside surrounding area.

Really nice property so close to Liverpool airport! Room was clean and even left me a nice selection of breakfast items which was unexpected. Fresh milk and bread even for toast in my room!

There was a mini fridge, kettle and toaster with some breakfast items and milk in the room. Bed was comfortable. Laura was very helpful and replied to queries quickly.
Was a little difficult to find, but this was more to do with the postcode directing you to the field opposite. The actual property is well sign posted, you just need to look out for it.

Due to emergency travel plans, I had to book a room very late at night and arrived at midnight. The staff were very accomodating of my late arrival, they telephoned me and explained the process for check-in and left my breakfast in my room ready for the early morning start.

Very convenient for being close to the airport. Room was comfortable for the night. Very reasonable price. Good to have real milk for teamaking with fridge and toaster available.
Confused info about whether Lennox farm and Lennox B&B were actually the same place, listed seperately on the website. I didnt receive the email with phone contact until after i left home (2-3 hours drive away) so never saw it and had trouble finding anyone when i arrived at the B and B and had to go round asking at the neighbouring houses. Eventually found Laura at the property rather by chance, who was very welcoming. Didnt know that continental breakfast was included in the room so brought my own. ( butter in fridge was manky and used before) These are all things that could easily be resolved to make it a successful stay.

I travel and stay in many places as an historical portrayal actor. Lenox B&B was such a wonderful find. Excellent facilities, close to the event I was attending, relaxing and extremely friendly. I am invited to the venue several times a year and, in future, this will be the first place I look to stay at on those various occasions. I have several colleagues I have mentioned this to who are also keen to book here for events in future. Absolute 5* without question.
There was nothing not to like here. This is a fairly new venture and parts are still being finalised, but this does not detract from the excellence of the facilities here. Laura was amazing and could not have been more helpful. I am sure with time, this facility will grow very popular and will continue with its excellent reviews.
