Amazing English skills and great coordination of access. Sarah went above and beyond. Great place to stay with a group if you need four rooms!

Great approach from the owner, open to any special requests, fulfilling them with high effort.
Great place for special occasions - we used it during our wedding in Tivoli.
Good internet, Netflix account, two TVs, jacuzzi
Historic building in very good shape
Minifridge refilled daily, included in the price
There´s nothing we didn´t like. I would rate it 9.8/10 and give just a few recommendations to make it 10 out of 10:
- Provide slippers to the guests
- The shower needs a shelf where the soap can be placed
- Equip the room with a safe

Great package, many small things such as regularly topped up free mini bar and snacks, communication and historical surroundings made for a wonderful experience.
Nothing, a very positive experience

These gorgeous rooms are in a beautiful old building, right in the centre of Tivoli and close to the gardens. Our room was very spacious, the bed was large and comfortable with high quality linen. Bathroom was great and had a lovely jacuzzi bath. There’s a Nespresso machine and tea making facilities too and a little basket of cakes which was very welcome. Sara and her team could not have been kinder or more helpful - including picking us up and taking us to the station.
It was all perfect

Wow - this is such a gorgeous place to stay. Staying in a historical building but with state of the art bathroom, super large TV with Netflix etc. the super king bed was so comfortable.
It was beautifully quiet and yet only a 5 min walk to great restaurants and it’s an easy stroll to Vila D’Este
The arrangements to collect the keys works perfectly and we were able to drop off the luggage early
Sara, the host really goes that extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. There’s a lovely breakfast area with nespresso maker, toast, jam etc and a nice selection of complimentary soft drinks in the fridge. In the bathroom there are all the toiletries you’d expect in a 5 star hotel. In short if you’ve going to Tivoli book in here 👍😊

Siamo stati magnificamente.

Absolutely THE BEST hotel we have stayed in our month in Italy. Where other hosts tried Sara succeeded! She was gracious, actually explained how things worked, provided guidance for Tivoli, and even made a reservation at the town's most elegant restaurant, Sibella. Sara guided us to Villa Gregorio and helped us figure out the buses to go to Villa Adriana. We What's App'd with her and she checked on us throughout our stay. Do yourself a favor and stay at Palazzo Papa Gregorio!
Oh, and it is absolutely beautiful with marble floors in the bathroom and big king sized beds. It's a very small boutique hotel but it is stunning! Sara has lovingly restored this old home that housed Pope Gregorio when he worked on the 100 year hydro project that saved Tivoli from flooding. Each detail tells a story from the mural of the Madonna and child she saved to the floor tiles and big wooden doors. But it was Sara's personal care and gracious welcome that made us feel special. It ended our stay with elegance and tons of charm. We will remember our stay with fondness always. Thank you Sara!
There was nothing we didn't like!!

Palazzo Papà Gegorio XVI is the most exceptional place ever!!! I would rate it a 20+++. It is absolutely magnificent. The rooms, the staff, the communication, the help we received from them is not to be matched! I have stayed at many places but none can compare to this! It is elegant! If you do not reserve this Palazzo you are truly missing out on one of the best experiences you will have.
Absolutely nothing!!!!

Staff were amazing - Accomodating, caring and great communication
All amenities and mini bar were complementary
The spa bath was so large, LED lights and jets
It was private and we never heard any street noise, other guests etc and the room was very dark for sleeping.
The amenities were high quality.
The room was large and the bed is a king which was incredibly comfortable.
Difficult to fault.
I don’t have negative feedback

The location was awesome. Google Maps sent us the wrong way and we had to go up some stairs but if you go off the map from Sara its easy. Palazzo Papa Gregorio is a beautiful boutique accommodation with lots of history and very comfortable and quiet. Sara could not be more helpful and easy to deal with. Her restaurant recommendations were also amazing!
No lift but only one flight of stairs so no drama! Also Sara helped on arrival.

Decent size room in old style Italian terrace. Close to Villa Gregoriana and walking distance to Villa D’Este.
Staff were helpful
I would have preferred an 11am check out rather than 10am

Such a wonderful place! A beautiful and spacious room, in a renovated old building. The location is perfect - on the edge of the old city, but just a few minutes walk from a non-expensive parking lot. Ahead of our visit we asked to confirm we would have a shower and a desk. We eventually had a great shower in addition to a Jacuzzi bath, and the antique desk was large and very convenient to work on. There was a little fridge filled with drinks for free usage (water, milk, juice and soft drinks). Also a kettle and a coffee machine with supplies.
We didn't meet Sara, the owner, in person, but she communicated with us on WhatsApp, made sure we are comfortable, and sent great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Her love to the city was evident and contagious :)
We stayed two nights, but in retrospect would have stayed even three (with a rented car). The area around Tivoli is beautiful, with many old hill-towns, and Tivoli itself has lots to see. At the end of May there were not too many tourists.

Good central location. Our group booked the 3 Rooms in the place, two of the rooms were nice, the third one was terrible.
The location of the property does not allow guests to get there with the car and unload the luggage. There is a parking lot within a few minutes walking distance but very steep stairs which makes it very difficult. The host should provide detailed instructions on the easiest way to get there. Also stairs to get to the room, definitely not recommended for older travelers.
