Relaxing escape.
Had a really relaxing stay. Beautiful lodge, with everything you could need. Lovely hot tub. Parking right outside. Would definitely recommend. Enjoyed the morning visits from the resident peacocks 🦚.
Nothing, we loved it.

Comfortable stay but a little overpriced for what we got.
Lovely location and beautiful surroundings
The property which we stayed in coot cottage was a little worn in places and not properly finished off in areas. The shower wasn’t of great standard, running hot and cold.

Very good
We picked RP because the lodge appeared to be just what we wanted for a weekend break, and the added bonus of it being dog friendly. A beautiful pool area, albeit we did`nt use it due to the monsoon conditions the weekend we were there. Although we did`nt eat there, Hindelinis was a nice facility onsite, the bar has a great choice of ales. An abundance of "Poo Stations" around the site, all fully stocked with poo bags. Talking of poo - the sight of deer and peacocks wandering around the park freely was lovely. The Lodge was spotlessly clean and the hot tub was ready to use as soon as we got there. We had minimal contact with staff, but those we did speak to were all smiley faced and happy to help. Geographically - RP is within easy striking distance of many places of interest all within 30 mins or so drive.
Given that the site is surrounded by acres of fields, we felt it would be beneficial for RP to create a small fenced off area, for dogs to run around freely and do their business, with a poo station located at the entrance. We have stayed at several other places who have created such a facility, and it makes it much easier all round. Another benefit would have been that the dog friendly lodges have an enclosed garden, so the dogs could be outside with the family off lead! We see these as constructive suggestions rather than criticisms! - and appreciate if you`re not a dog owner you won`t be interested anyway.

Great location - very tired cabin
A great location with a restaurant & bar on the doorstep. The outdoor pool was great and the peacocks and deer wandering round. There was a lovely circular walk too and lovely walks down by the stream.
We felt a little let down with how tired the cabin was including the outdoor decking areas which were rotting and dangerous for our two year old. The hot tub was clean and pleasant to sit in but was old,the lights didn't work and the lid was very tatty and dirty and hard to lift on and off. The twin beds were so uncomfortable and very noisy everytime you turned over so do need replacing. The master bedroom mattress was more comfortable but had fresh muddy paw prints on the duvey cover, only a couple but not ideal! The sink in the master ensuite didn't drain the water away properly so needs seeing to, my partner shaved and the sink never drained properly so it was a bit of a hairy sink all week. We felt everything needed a good hoover and a bit more attention to detail on the cleanliness, the light switches were filthy so we wiped them down and the blind strings were just awful and dirty brown/grey stained. We made the mistake of assuming dressing gowns were included for the hot tub as towels are provided so perhaps a note to make people aware before they visit would be helpful. There wasn't anywhere to hang a towel/dressing gown outside which would be helpful too. The food and drinks at Hindellinis were nice but the staff were all a bit young and clueless and one day when we ate in the outdoor space my partners chair was old and broke whilst he pulled it in, ripping open and trapping his finger. We did report this and saw the chair was put aside to be disposed off but again just the attention to detail was lacking. There is a little park on site but no toddler swings but there is a park nearby is Gisburn which we discovered the dsy before we left which was a shame. Lastly, I think it would be great to provide a little more info on arrival with regards to the pool location and walks around the grounds rather than trying to figure it out. We did ask a bar staff member but they were very vague.
